Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Eagan Mayor Mike Maguire have both vowed to fight to keep Lockheed Martin in Eagan. The company announced last week it will close its Eagan facility by 2013, resulting in about 350 layoffs and 650 job transfers to other facilities throughout the country, including facilities in Owego, N.Y., Manassas, Va., and San Diego.
