My Cheese . . . Where Is it?

I’m sure many of you are familiar with Spencer Johnson’s best-selling book, “Who Moved My Cheese?” If you’re not, or if you’ve read it so long ago that you’ve forgotten that it’s not about Wisconsin’s second most-famous product (beer, of course!), it’s time to take a look. Because “Cheese” is all about change … and change is certainly on the move!

A couple of months ago, I moved my cheese big time as I decided to join W.A. Roosevelt with Dakota Supply Group (DSG). This was huge in terms of our future – kind of like moving from individually plastic-wrapped, processed American cheese slices to fine, well-aged Abergele Tandoori Masala spiced smoked cheddar. Now that’s a bright move for the future! But from a day-to-day and philosophical perspective – there’s really only slight cheese movement here. More like creating Colby-Jack from a great blend of two excellent cheeses. And with this “blending of recipes,” positive changes are happening on a regular basis.
