Everything’s a buzz at Keystone Place as the grand opening is just around the corner and the staff is, in fact, showing model apartments by appointment.

A state-of-the-art retirement community near the intersection of Frank Scott Parkway and Green Mount Road, Keystone is a rental continuing care retirement community featuring 64 independent living apartments, 66 traditional assisted living apartments, and 19 memory care apartments. There is no large entrance fee or buy-in and residents will have access to convenient services, including chef-prepared meals, housekeeping, scheduled transportation, and so much more.

The community will boast the area’s largest one and two bedroom/two bathroom independent living apartment homes with exceptional amenities and features, including sunrooms, patios/balconies, and stackable washers and dryers, just to name a few.

“Whether you want to enjoy the freedom of carefree Independent Living or are the loved one of a person in need of the extra care and support of our Assisted Living and Memory Care, we offer an inviting and elegant solution,” said Jan Brenner, Senior Living Counselor. “Health and wellness benefits are also in place at Keystone to protect our residents, including combatting loneliness and easing social isolation. Our Life Enrichment Program will offer a wide variety of over 150 monthly activities to accommodate all of our residents. With so much to offer, apartments are going fast!”

While the housing market is flourishing - some average prices are up $20,000 or more - it’s a smart time to consider moving into that maintenance-free lifestyle that makes life so much more fulfilling. Keystone will provide endless opportunities for residents to stay socially connected and engaged, even in a time of social distancing.

In addition, part of the recent excitement includes welcoming Keystone’s new Executive Director Gina Toth, pictured above.

“Even through these challenging times, residents of Keystone communities (there are 1,500 residents across the U.S.) are absolutely thriving,” she said.

“People who live in a Keystone community are living full and joyful lives, with infinite opportunities to stay engaged and connected through safe and socially distanced activities.”

Keystone residents will have access to the COVID-19 vaccine as well as having stringent cleaning and disinfection procedures heightened for COVID-19 safety. “Extensive safety measures,
