January 14 & 15 in the 3rd Floor Circus Ring at City Museum

TDD# 800-545-1833 ext. 850

Circus Harmony’s 2012 full-length show Tessitura is an acrobatic adventure featuring over 30 flying children accompanied by the sensational Circus Harmony Band! Don’t miss this annual creative confluence of music and circus arts presented by St. Louis’ only social circus school. This show features the St. Louis Arches, the amazing acrobatic act that performs each year at Circus Flora, with all new acts and the circus stars of tomorrow. Circus Harmony is a reincarnation of Circus Day. The mission of Circus Day was to reach out to the community by working with and featuring children from different neighborhoods performing to the music of different cultures. Thus, the name change to Circus Harmony. To learn more about Circus Day/Circus Harmony and the classes they offer visit circusday. org. You may have a budding juggler or tumbler or clown in your family.

Professionally managed by

St. Louis, Missouri

Tessitura is performed at the City Museum in the third floor circus ring space created by Bob Cassilly and his team of skilled artisans, entirely out of found objects. Their new location next to Art City boasts more seating, increased visibility, and more head room. The need for the new space became obvious when the tumblers were touching the ceiling and the aerialists were bumping their heads

Six North Coffee Co.

To learn more about City Museum located at 701 North 15th Street please visit citymuseum.org. Information about Circus Day/Circus Harmony will be found under Attractions Tickets to Tessitura may be purchased through the Circus Day/Circus Harmony web site. Ticket price includes admission to City Museum. You may also purchase tickets at City Museum. Tessitura is also performed at other locations in the metro area. Check their schedule.

DOCTOR’S

ORDERS David A. Dorsey, MD

Medicine can be a very expensive part of your health care treatment. If your doctor has prescribed a medicine and you cannot afford to pay for it, you may be able to get the medicine for free or at a reduced cost…

Check Out Reduced Cost Formularies Some pharmacies have lists of medications that cost as little as $4 per month. If you are paying cash, you may want to check out the $4 medication lists offered at pharmacies such as Wal-Mart or Target. Also, some local supermarket pharmacies actually offer some antibiotics for free!

Private and public health insurance If you have health insurance, your plan may or may not pay for prescription medicine. It depends on what kind of insurance you have. If you have the traditional Medicare plan, you’ll need Medicare Part D to make sure your medicine is covered. If you have Medicaid, the Medicaid plan in your state most likely covers the cost of many prescription medicines.

Some state governments offer affordable medicine programs for seniors, people who are disabled and people who have low incomes. Community health centers, free health clinics, and other community programs may also offer help.

Private programs Some social agencies, such as the Salvation Army and some private hospitals, offer financial help for people who cannot afford prescription medicines.

Patient-assistance programs Patient-assistance programs are sponsored by companies that make prescription medicine. Each company has its own rules about who qualifies for its program. In many cases, you will need to show that you don’t qualify for private or public health insurance. You may also need to prove that your income is below a certain level. Each program has its own application process. Your doctor, nurse or social worker may need to apply for you; with some programs an application can be submitted online. It’s important to keep in mind that applying does not guarantee that you will get your medicine for free or at a lower price. But hopefully, at least one of the resources mentioned above will help you if you need it. Resource: familydoctor.org
