A Telepod is a small IT communications hub housed in a portable, modular building. The prefabricated, solar-powered, and air conditioned ICT facility runs autonomously. Mining, oil and gas, government, and remote communities use the Telepod to connect to telephone, public Internet, and private data network services from nearly any remote location. By design, the Telepod ensures affordable, rugged, reliable, lowmaintenance, and self-sufficient ICT services to remote areas with no infrastructure.

Specifications The Telepod is fully customisable. The base-model starts at $120K for the fully networked, solar-powered building, and the entry-level specifications include: • 6 clients (computer, keyboard, mouse, monitor) • A small comms room • A projector • An LED TV • A electronic white board • SAAS (Software as A Service) over a thin-client model The Telepod arrives fully-networked, and can be connected to wireless, satellite, and cloud solutions. Case Summary - Vocational Training and Employment Centres (VTEC) The training facility has been used over the last 5 years to bring the global-digital experience to for Indigenous Australians, to remote locations in Australia, and the to the Torres Strait Islands. The Australian Government’s GenerationOne employment model was setup to position Vocational, Training & Employment Centres (VTECs) around Australian.
