Open House HALIFAX
November 4, 2023
Event Guide
Event Tips 1. Have questions? You’ll find event volunteers with yellow Dalhousie sweaters throughout the day who are eager to help you navigate campus and answer your questions. 2. Go beyond the morning sessions. Starting at noon, a whole new series of programming begins, including fairs, tours, panels, student life activities and more. Don’t miss out on these opportunities to experience campus life. 3. Take a tour. Whether you are familiar with campus or new to Dalhousie, our experienced guides will expand your knowledge and provide valuable insight into the undergraduate experience. 4. Complimentary grab and go lunch options will be available, while supplies last. Pick up a sub at Subway in the Killam Library, or a wrap at Mezza in the atrium of the Student Union Building. Or – visit our participating food trucks for an extra sweet treat! A little further from campus, you’ll find lots of great restaurants in the Argyle District and on the Halifax waterfront. 5. Snacks will be available for pickup between sessions in the McCain Building, Rowe Building, Design Building (Sexton Campus), and the Home Base Tent. Help yourself!
LIMITED EDITION SWAG & PRIZES Your collection of Dal swag starts with an event pass, branded tote bag, and sticker sheet, so you can adorn whatever you like (laptop, water bottle, you name it!). Take part in activities, for your chance to win belt bags, bucket hats, water bottles, and more! NEXT STEPS We host events on campus, online and across the country throughout the year to help you navigate the admission process. Keep an eye on dal.ca/futurestudents for details on upcoming events. BE SOCIAL Make the most of your #DalBound excitement by following us. Meet other students, join the conversation, learn about what it’s like to be a Dal student!
