COMMUNI CONNEC JALANA LEWIS Director of African Nova Scotian community engagement, is a Dalhousie Law graduate originally from north end Halifax who has worked in human rights law as well as with various NGOs, universities and government offices.

Director of Indigenous community engagement, is a Dal Theatre alumna and member of the Millbrook First Nation who, in addition to being an award-winning filmmaker and producer, has almost 40 years’ experience working with Indigenous communities.
