hauteSTUF

hauteSTUF International trends and their local expressions – that’s what you can expect from HauteSTUF, a new feature that will appear in the Journal’s Style section every Friday. Edmontonians Deidre Hackman and Donna Zazulak have teamed to create an initiative that highlights high-end fashion and trends, and to celebrate Albertans here and abroad who exemplify those tendencies. Hackman and Zazulak describe HauteSTUF as “the personal trend and fashion guide for your hip lifestyle,” and they have the fashion cred to back it up. Alberta native Hackman has spent much of the past couple of decades working around the globe, creating products and brand positioning for such companies as Nike, Speedo, Disney, Bebe and Victoria’s Secret. Zazulak has more than two decades of fashion and retail management experience in Edmonton. She was Edmonton-area correspondent for Elle Canada magazine and wrote a style column for a local daily newspaper for seven years. Today’s launch of HauteSTUF in print features looks from the fall Paris runway shows, along with a just-the-facts-m’am look at local DJ Will Belyea and information about where you can get his look.
