W ydaho Rendez vous Teton Mountain Bike Festival 2014
Welcome to the 5th Annual TVTAP Wydaho
Rendezvous Mountain Bike Festival
A
s the Executive Director for Teton Valley Trails and Pathways, I am honored to welcome you to the 5th annual Wydaho Rendezvous Mountain Bike Festival! 5 years ago, a small group of volunteers began with the modest goal of highlighting our amazing trail network to provide an economic stimulus for Teton Valley. We are proud to see how far we’ve come and to now have an event that draws riders from across the United States. This festival is now a key fundraiser for Teton Valley Trails and Pathways and supports our mission of maintaining and developing a sustainable trail network to achieve our mission of a trails and pathways connected community more than we ever thought it could. We have so much in store for the 2014 festival. With your festival pass, you can enjoy bike demos from 10 different companies, explore hundreds of miles of singletrack, race the infamous Targhee Super D, ride the chairlift, take a clinic from a highly skilled instructor, hop in a group ride, or even take a yoga class or enjoy an onsite massage. Afternoon and evening activities are filled with music, great beer, kids races, incredible raffles, and silly shenanigans. Be sure to check out our complete festival schedule in this guide so you don’t miss out on any of the excitement. Our event would not be possible without our valuable partnership with our event host, Grand Targhee Resort, or without all our amazing volunteers. Our volunteers pour their hearts and souls into making the festival a success, so please take the time to thank an event host, a group ride leader, a registration worker or any local who has shared a bit of local knowledge. We couldn’t put on such a great event without their help and generosity. From the entire community, we invite you to enjoy our trails, to visit our local bike shops and to support the restaurants, stores, and businesses that enable our community to thrive. This festival has now become a key fundraiser for Teton Valley Trails and Pathways and supports our goal of maintaining and developing a sustainable trail network and a trails and pathways connected community more than we ever thought it could. Cheers!! Tim Adams Executive Director Teton Valley Trails and Pathways

Each rider is responsible for his or her own well-being, and for riding within his or her skills- and ability-levels. Since the lowest spot in Teton Valley is 6500’ above sea level, our trails are located in a high altitude, fairly dry, alpine environment. Please stay well-hydrated and be prepared for sudden weather changes. Bring plenty of water and adequate food, extra layers/ clothing and a waterproof shell, and first aid supplies, as well as tools and supplies to deal with any mechanical issues on the trail.
