the craft-friendly
menu
Your party is all about the crafting, so don’t stress much about the menu. Keep it simple, with little bites that energize your guests. Choose snacks that won’t dirty up fingers because no one wants to smudge their pretty projects! Opt for quick menu items like bottles of pink lemonade that are easy to fill & beet salad! Use a mini heart cookie cutter to give the beets a festive look. Chocolate strawberries were served with little cocktail skewers so that everyone’s hands stayed clean.

scene
Stock your party with basics that will allow your guests’ imaginations to run wild. For this party we used glitter cardstock, patterned papers twine, ribbon, paper punches, alphabet stickers and stamps. I also wanted each guest to get into the Valentine’s Day spirit so, I created simple aprons featuring iron-on fabric hearts. You can pick up aprons in packs of three at most craft stores, and with a coupon they are very affordable.
We R Memory Keepers changed the card-making game when they released this envelope punch board. I use mine on a daily basis to quickly create custom sized envies!
