A Message from Damian Welcome to the third of my Quarterly Reports for the 4655 postcode. So the first quarter of 2014 is already behind us...where does time go? Easter and Anzac Day were combined by many to ensure a nice break and Hervey Bay certainly saw the benefits of this. The town has been very busy with tourists and most of the accommodation and caravan parks have been full to capacity. Mother Nature certainly played her part too and we had days and days of perfect conditions to enjoy boating, fishing, walking and playing on the beach. The real estate market has started well in 2014 and as you will see in this report, the signs are certainly positive but there is no sign that we are feeling any of the boom being seen in our Capital cities. REMEMBER: The idea of this report, is to ensure you have a handle on the market place and have all of the information you may require should you decide to get involved in real estate here in Hervey Bay. This report is for you – so if you have any comment please let me know; if there is information you feel is missing or stuff you love to see I welcome your feedback. Each report will cover residential sales only; this includes houses, land, units and townhouses. You may note that in each suburb there are sales excluded – we are advised by RP Data that these are sales that are classified as not “normal sales’ i.e. to a family member, sales where the prices have yet to be declared by the sales person or ratified by the Department of Natural Mines and Resources.
