How to Choose a Photo Frame How to Choose a Photo Frame Have you ever wondered the best way to select a photo frame for your Picture? There is a huge variety of frames available, so how does one select the right one? Well, there are no real written rules as to which is the right or wrong one to use or select. However, there are some tips that will definitely help you along the way. Tip #1 – Choose Your Picture First Remember that the focal point of any frame is the photo. The frame actually is the supporting cast to the picture. When someone looks at the picture or even takes a quick glance at it, they don’t want to be overwhelmed by it and not see what is inside the picture. So when you choose a frame, make sure to select one that will make the picture stand out. Tip #2 – Make Sure the Colors Match the Picture and the Room

Feel up to a challenge? Check out the video – there is a quick 4 question quiz… How do you think you will do? On Target Photo Training.com/Photo Tips You should select a photo frame that brings out the picture’s hues and highLights. For instance, in case you are selecting a border for a monochrome picture, then you want to use a monochrome or clear one. This will cause the treatment in the picture to stand out. Choose casings that blend with the shades and hues in the entire area of the room. You don’t want to select a fluorescents eco-friendly casing when you have a natural shaded room. For those who have a natural shaded room, choose a natural shaded casing, such as plain or dark wood. For those who have a brilliant, way-out shaded room, select a vivid shaded one. Tip #3 – Be Aware of the Size of the Photo versus the Size of the Frame Another factor that you want to be aware of when selecting a photo frame is to make sure that the photo size fits correctly within the border. Again here your focal point is the picture not the frame. Make sure that there is a good balance between the sizes of the picture to the size of the casing. The size of the casing and the picture will also become relevant when deciding on the location of where to put the picture. Again you want to have a nice balance between the space that you are going to put the picture in with the size of the frame and the picture. These tips will come in handy for you as you select your next photography border for your favorite room or table.
