Photography Tips Photography Tips Photography tips – Imagine you are holding the first ever Digital Camera on your hands, you have not seen anything like this before and you had been using the traditional camera ever since you were born. Okay maybe I was a bit exaggerating over here. Did this happen to you? Most of the times when you are taking photos, you click the Shutter button and snap a shot without a second thought. Maybe some of the photos turned out blurry, some of them did not look as grand as they looked in real life, and the subject of your focus is not your main focus in the photos. Well here are a few tips about digital photography for beginners like you to help enhance your photos. Before we talk about photos, let’s talk about the camera first. You will probably be thinking that only a professional camera like a DSLR or SLR can take a beautiful photo. Well you are right to a certain extent but a normal digital camera will be fine as it had lesser confusing features and it is Lighter to carry around. Here are a few tips to get started: * Play with your camera. The more snaps you shoot, the better you will be at taking photos.

Natural lights are the best source of lights and they can create amazing effects. * Remove red eye. * Use a tripod when you are taking a close-up shot. Other factors to note: * Try taking shots from different angles and perspectives to get the best effect that you want. * Play with the different settings in your camera. Do not worry that you will spoil your camera by randomly pressing buttons; there is no such thing because buttons are meant to be pressed. Or

you can always follow the manual. * Take a look out for the Background. Reduce the number of things in the background which will grab the viewer’s attention away from the foreground to the background, unless of course your focus is the background. * Hold your camera straight when taking photos. They create the best effect. Although experiments on slanted photos might be good too. * Hold the camera properly! Hold the camera firmly with 2 hands when you are taking a shot and be careful not to let your hands shake or the photo will be blurry. You can always on the anti-shake option or auto focus option if you fear that your hands are unstable. However, practice makes perfect. * Getting a close up shot. You can either achieve this by zooming in, or using the traditional way – to take a few steps forward. * Try shooting different things, even if you have a passion for animals or nature, it wouldn’t hurt taking shoots of humans too, right? * Find the outstanding point and focal point in the scene before pressing the shutter button. * The rule of thirds. Photos look best if you follow the rule. * Review the photos that you had taken. And learn from your past mistakes. That’s about it!
