Dan Goodman
Dan Goodman is a dedicated entrepreneur with nearly 30 years of experience in the wood flooring industry. He owns and operates TCB Flooring Inc., which specializes in high-end wood flooring services. In addition to his flooring expertise, he is a licensed home inspector, a security professional, and a passionate fitness enthusiast. Born in 1978 in the Bronx, New York, Dan spent his early childhood there before moving to Mt. Vernon, NY, at 10. His love for sports, particularly football, first developed in Mt. Vernon. His natural talent for the sport made him well-liked among his peers. However, it was during his teenage years that another interest took hold: wood flooring. In the summer of 1995, he was introduced to wood flooring, a field he would later pursue as a full-time career. Dan Goodman of Westchester, NY, pursued higher education at Johnson and Wales University, where he studied hotel and restaurant management and culinary arts. Alongside his academic pursuits, he explored entrepreneurship by opening a gourmet deli called "Good to Go Delicacies." This venture gave him valuable experience in business management, customer relations, and overcoming the challenges of operating a small business. After gaining experience in the wood flooring industry, Dan decided to turn his passion into a full-time endeavor by founding TCB Flooring Inc. As the owner and operator, he ensures that each project meets the highest standards. His business offers wood floor installation, refinishing, and home renovations, strongly emphasizing quality and customer satisfaction. In 2016, Dan expanded his skill set by obtaining a security license, which led to his work as a bar bouncer and later as a bar manager. These roles enhanced his customer service, conflict resolution, and team management ability. In 2022, he became a licensed home inspector after passing the New York State exam. This certification allowed him to offer additional services, helping clients assess their homes before making significant renovations.
