1 Premio's 3-storey semi-detached house by the lake has a unique personality. The house faces a beautiful view of the lake that gives a sense of peace and tranquility. 2 Focusing on a modern luxury design approach with full details, textures, patterns and various materials used. By having many pieces of customization, this house has its own character for the home owner.

3 The master bedroom overlooks the beautiful lake view and receives lots of natural sunlight making the room even brighter. 4 Breaking up the usual layout by integrating an island bed with a vanity behind a custom-made headboard is a fun part by having light fixtures on both sides that descend from the ceiling. 5 A hand-tufted rug with a strong geometric pattern on the floor gives the room its own uniqueness. Choosing a bold contrasting color for the rug brings a dramatic effect to the overall feel. The tiered ceiling detail echoes the rug's pattern. 6 To reduce the rigidity in this room, the designer played with curtains around the room that also create a feeling of intimacy when the curtains are completely closed.

1 A high-rise serviced apartment newly occupied by a young couple, husband and wife, located in the rapidly developing Bukit Jalil area. 2 To meet the client needs and requirements, understanding their daily life behavior is the most important part for designers to provide the best solutions to home owners. 3 The designers strategically play with the spatial layout of the house to produce a highly practical layout created to suit all activities.

(12)

4 A muted beige color scheme with dark walnut wood accents is the main character of the overall conceptual direction throughout the house which is strongly supported by warm and inviting ambient lighting that plays a key role in creating drama. 5 Since the client has budget limitations, minimum placement for fixed fixtures and play around with mid-century loose furniture options is the best way.

(13)

6 The bathroom has been refurbished and gives a new fresh look and feel to the space while maintaining the existing installation location. The selection of new materials and schemes does have many different impacts than the old ones. 7 Every material used in this room is well combined with each other. Beige subway tiles are used on the vertical walls in the shower area to provide some elements of pattern and line. A beautiful terrazzo stone with a muted color chip finish was chosen to highlight the table top and provide a dramatic effect and focal point. 8 The designer creatively made a slight improvement to the overall atmosphere with some wall and ceiling light fixtures to give the room its own aesthetic that matches the homeowner's personality.

2 Focusing on achieving a timeless look in a minimalist approach and sprinkled with comfortable and warm texture options is the perfect design intent for this shop. 3 Since this store sells products in various colors, our designers decided to use a very basic interior scheme that matches any color to minimize the use of color in this space. A rich maroon color has been injected into the space to reflect their branding. 4 A custom floating checkout counter with concrete stone supports is the entry statement that welcomes guests as they enter the store.

5 Some fun curved elements have been incorporated into the design. The central part of the custom display table is one of the interesting parts of this store where all the exclusive items are showcased. 6 A dressing room with an arched entrance portal breaks the seriousness of this shop's design. Since the room space is quite limited, installing curtains is the best solution, plus it helps a lot to make the overall design look soft and not rigid. 7 An island seating area has been created by placing it in the middle for guests to sit and enjoy while making their purchase choices. 8 Brushed hollow metal steel rods are used minimally for all the hanging stations which gives it a touch of modern feel.

1 A very simple and straight forward design approach is the key to the successful concept for this house, from the layout to the materials used and the furniture. 2 The design employs a reduced palette of exposed materials and finishes, using warm tones of beige lime-washed plaster and textured render for the ceiling and walls throughout. 3 Oak accents are used on the full height wall paneling with hidden sliding doors to the bedroom area as one of the features of this home. 4 Black artwork as a contrasting effect on the space creating a focal point.

5 The dining room, suitable for a family of six, is located close to the kitchen for easy access and connects these two spaces. A fullheight cabinet for storage integrated with a seating corner for dining gives the user some flexibility. The room is lit by spotlights installed vertically above the dining table to give an intimate atmosphere when doing activities there. 6 The kitchen has excellent ventilation with open windows and access to sufficient natural sunlight and is separated by sliding glass doors to prevent unwanted odors from the kitchen into the main space of this home.

(21)

7 Master room is played with a volume on the ceiling to segregate the area in this room. Island bed layout is the best idea to have for this room because it’s give a better circulation to the user. The bed itself is attached to the fixed island storage as bed backpanel.

9 For the bathroom, the client asked to have it like in the villa but in a minimal way because the layout did not allow anything to do with it. Beige stone textured tiles and terrazzo patterns have been chosen to accentuate the ambiance.

8 The stone finish vanity is placed centre in the between of wardrobe at both side with full height mirror and storage at the back of the mirror.

10 Ceiling light through at the shower area brings an uplifting atmosphere to the space while all fittings are showcased with spotlights.

1 The space planning for this house is very straight forward and connected to each other intentionally. Airy, light and bright spaces under the same tone scheme make the house feel larger. 2 A full-height tv cabinet with hidden storage made of natural lacquered semicircular beads is built as the main feature of the home integrated with a fixed display shelf on the right for display items. Some contrasts on the loose furniture were chosen to balance the overall scheme. 3 The dining room is located between the living room and the kitchen where all the multipurpose activities are held for continuous interaction by the users. A few pairs of random shape of pendant lights that descend from the ceiling make the space more inviting.

(28)

4 The idea of having full height wall panels and a portal to the kitchen gives a lot of different impact as it makes the space feel wider and taller. Custom glass sliding doors were installed to separate the wet and dry kitchens but still connect. 5 The kitchen is designed in white spray painted in a shaker style with some white rattan accents for texture. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest modern appliances, fixtures and accessories that make it easy for users to carry out their daily activities.

(30)

8 The selection of a young, vibrant and fun color scheme for children's psychological behavior was considered when designing the room. All decorative items complement the overall design theme and make it more cheerful and attractive.

creating a comfortable space by replacing luxury in the simplest way, warm, and neutral color scheme with logical continuation of spaces

(33)

1 The master bedroom is designed for a young couple in their 30s who are looking for a comfortable space for reflection and a positive inner life at home with a modern clean cut design with a neutral palette and some dark wood accents that achieve a modern villa approach. 2 The walls in this bedroom are covered in a full height wall design with smooth rounded edge corners in a spray painted finish with some natural travertine stone for the headboard panel design. 3 The main structure for the tv panel is designed with an integrated office desk space behind it with a partial cover that connects the activities between the spaces. The idea of having a vertical grill design is to break up the stiffness and at the same time create a cast shadow.

(34)

4 A very huge of space of walk in wardrobe is requested by the client and this requirement is took under consideration in the earlier phase of design while the designer's designing the room. 5 In the center of this room, an island wardrobe has been created for display bag cabinets in dark walnut wood and natural travertine stone for the sides while the other parts of wardrobe is in light beige nutty color laminate finish. This cabinet become the statement for this room and it is highlited with special cove lighting and ceiling design around it.

7 Ensuite bathroom is giving that villa vibe with a neutral palette of natural stone and marble selection. Travertine marble was used for the dry area of the vanity providing some dramatic elements and a focal point. 8 The bathroom has excellent ventilation and receives enough natural lighting from outside but to enhance the atmosphere of this room, different layers of lighting have been used and it is important that each lighting is placed in the right place and item.

6 The dressing table is part of the integrated wardrobe design and is practically placed by facing the window to receive enough natural sunlight.

(35)

9 This kid’s bedroom is creatively divided into two spaces for the division of activities and maximum use of the two spaces, the bedroom and the study room. It is separated by a fixed height tv cabinet between the spaces. 10 The designer decided to use a universal scheme that matches any gender. Played with a creamy golden yellow color with slight accents of dark walnut wood color that complement each other. 11 Some fun elements have been incorporated into the design where the custom study table design is made with organically shaped legs. In addition, every choice of furniture, lighting and decoration is carefully selected for children.

1 The proposed experience gallery project belongs to a well-known developer located in Kota Kemuning Shah Alam for users to experience their new urban development. The gallery is creatively designed in a simple and very open layout by playing with the depth of the ceiling volume to give an impact to the visitor. 2 The light oak finish is the main character where most of the interior design structures in the middle of the gallery are designed using the material. As seen in the upper part of the design, it is used on slanted wooden boards arranged repeatedly for ceiling treatment design.

(38)

3 The customer service area of the gallery is designed in a very modern minimal way by using sheet metal cladding for the background wall which is in line with the overall concept idea. 4 In the casual seating area, a pop of color has been injected into the design where a custom shaped rug is pink to bring the client's identity and make the space lively. 5 While on the other hand, a refreshment bar area is provided for users to refresh themselves. Bars are placed in nearby seating areas for easy free-flowing circulation.

1 The material room is located in the middle of the front of the office for semi-public use and it is separated by a purely aesthetic white curtain. This space is a second discussion area if the main meeting room is occupied. 2 This space is connected to the exhibition pantry area and can be transformed into a larger space for any activity by pulling in and out using curtains. 3 Focusing on a minimal, clean, and straight-cut line design approach, the designer decided to use white shelves and a white island table for this space.

4 The meeting room for 9 people is minimally designed to reduce any other distractions and to create valuable focus during any presentation or discussion. 5 The material palette is mostly monochromatic, using cool tones of gray concrete and textured renders for the floors, where a series of semi-metal doors are inserted.

6 This room is located at the front of the office. Designers creatively created glass walls there to connect activities and make the room feel larger. When people go upstairs with the stairs, they can clearly see the activity in the room. 7 A modern light fixture lowered from the ceiling above a custom concrete finish table gives a bit of a focused and serious mood.
