Daniel Carvalho
was born in Brazil in 1979. At the of 15, he left his home country and moved to the US. After having lived in 7 countries, from France, to Dubai and Australia, in 6 different continents, he has developed his biggest asset. His view. His interpretation of the mundane, of the ordinary and of today’s society is translated through photography, and his imagery is always on movement. His diverse experience of life and people transcends culture and language. Disentangling himself from symbolism and labels, he has been invited for an intimate glimpse of their personal perspectives of life. Obsessed about lines, forms, shapes and textures, his series, presented in different formats, is a consistent expression of layered irony, disguised throughout his immaculate comprehension and exploitation of fears, obsessions and dreams of today.
