Week 1
Lofting
Loft - 2 Curves
The use of 2 curves resulted in a wavy yet elegant form. These 5 alterations have been altered in both horizontal and vertical manner. As a result, it appears as a progressive change while evoking a seamless tansition.
Loft - 3 Curves
The addition of another curve allows for greater flexiblity. This leads to a more sophisticated form that could be controlled at a wider scale to produce a tighter drawing.
Loft - 4 Curves
This stage has dramatically increased the control over the drawing. As more curves are present, the lofts seem to move in a tighter fashion whic may appear as a flater surface but also a more detailed one.
Triangulation
Voronoi 3D Emphasizing greatly on gemotrical forms and surfaces, this form moves away from the smooth theme that has been explore in the lofting. Looking much like an eroded rock/stone from the earth, it gives the illusion of a sturdy and tough object.
Delaunay Appearing as an aggressive type of form, the exaggerated edges and pointed form evokes a bold character. Similiar to Voronoi 3D, it comes in a much more angular form as compared to the lofting explored previously.
Oct Tree Bearing similiarities to a Rubik’s cube, this form adopts mutiple grids with alternating empty spaces to create a simple yet interesting shape. The symmetrical shape takes on a minimalistic outlook that appears softer than Voronoi 3D or Delaunay.
