We compare closed residential transactions from the first nine months of 2019 to 2018 to take the seasonal nature of residential real estate into account. After a decade of a strong sellers’ market, we are seeing a market in transition. As compared to last year at this time, most markets are experiencing an increase in the number of available homes and a general decrease in the average sales price.
