Bulletin Editor Daniel Lang
Greetings, A-Tech! I told you we would have a newsletter for February! Elections are that important. And besides the heated Elections season, we also got in a fantastic Science Tour event! Last month, I brought you a Service Event Archive—Now, with help from your new Bulletin Editor-elect, Robert Macaibay, we have a sleek, new design, and an Elections Archive (atechkeyclub.weebly.com/elections)! Onward to the newsletter! This month, we have the scoop on Science Tours, an ad for the New Site Feature, Elections, and some Greetings from your Elected Board! And finally, the tragic news: This is, in fact, my penultimate A-Tech Newsletter, under Volume 3. But fear not! A-Tech Newsletter will be back for Vol. 4, under Robert! Next month’s grand finale will feature final reflections from your beloved board: Halley, Allison, Hung, Jessica, Brandon, Floyd, Steffi, Eric, and I, before we move on. Until then, enjoy the newsletter!

Science Tours!
Staying Afterschool… For Science! “Well where to start off...well first off I went to Ms. Shane’s room right after school... saw Daniel [Lang] already dressed; thought I get into the awesomeness of being Sciencey. So got put to work straight away, getting tables from teachers’ rooms and setting them up and decorating. Daniel and I were a team with the tables. Almost dying multiple times with tables, but we successfully managed to set up tables for all the science geeks to sit and discuss quantum physics or whatnot. I gotta admit, every time we left and came back to a room, it changed. It was weird, but cool. After about two hours of setting up, Daniel and I ended up helping catering set up and unload. We became slaves and were tortured under the awesomeness of food... the bread sticks. Well, we became runners for the catering and set the food and cake and all that food stuff for the teachers to dine on. They deserved it... They paid for it, HaHa. But we did get fed, which was great! We were on the idea we had to stay ‘til nine to get fed, but nope. Surprise! We got Cici’s pizza and brownies! It was awesome. We helped teachers get to their classes for their event, and that was that. Daniel and I then proceeded to do a headcount on a small class stuffed with sixty-five people, which was sooo fun. All in all, it was an amazing time. My Key Club family and the amazingness of the science teachers!”

Aftermath from Elections 2014 First Time for Everything
02/13/14
“So, today was elections. At first, I was nervous. Just like the Eminem song, "He's nervous but on surface he looks calm and ready to drop bombs." I dropped the bombs. It was actually the first time I was going to run for anything. I didn't know how the people will react and to be honest, I wasn't as prepared for the caucus session. However, I made it. I rolled by smoothly and even got to hear other speeches. My favorite had to be Hung Le's speech, especially the "Teamwork makes the dream work." It was a fun experience altogether. Plus I won the vote for bulletin editor. (Party at Halley's house, by the way) Thanks, team. ’Twas a great way to end this week!” -
