APPROACH & AIM Every project is treated with my highest regard of dedication. I strive for perfection, and to create meaningful solutions for a diversity of challenges. The aim is to create sensitive and unexpected solutions, balancing between friction and similarity.
PROCESS Analysis ensures a thorough process, making sure nothing is left out. The best results are created through dialogue. Play is way of discovering, and is a vital factor in the creation of thoughful and original space.
PHILOSOPHY The sun is the creation of all life, and the life made from the sun is the most valueable way of stimulating our senses. Our senses are what makes us human, and their stimulation is what defines a good life. We depend on food, sleep, and shelter, but also stimulation. Socially, culturally, through taste, sounds, scents, touch, and visual appearences. My goal is to create solutions made for our senses.

INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE / d’angleterre
Renovation of renowned hotel D’Angleterre- the most legendary hotel in Northern Europe. The project required a vast analysis of the building, where also former refurbishments were replaced with original or enhanced solution. The project included new facades, a new spa, restaurant, and a champagne bar. The number of rooms were cut in half, creating luxurious spacious suites for its world known guest. I worked both on the facade, as well as the interior solutions, including detailing of a brand new stairway. I worked on this project together with architectural firm CF Møller.

ARCHITECTURE SPATIAL PLANNING &DETAIL
ARCHITECTURE / the station
THE PLACE AND THE SYSTEM The project describes a new underground train station in Tønsberg, a neighboring regional centre to Europes fastest growing urban area, the Oslo metropolitan region. There is a demand for a station due to a great increase in traffic, but also by moving the railway underground, large areas wil be available for new development - highly needed for a city in rapid growth. The station proposed is drawn after local plans and guidelines set by the Norwegian National Rail Administration. The project is about meetings. How can a station meet a town, how it can tie it together while simultaneously serve as the first step in an expansion of a city centre? The project describes how the system, a major infrastructural intervention, can connect to a local place, and how logistical needs can interact with secondary functions. The meetings have drawn this project and appear in different scales. Sometimes the meetings are intertwined, or completely hidden - in veiled transitions, and in other places, the meetings seem clear and clarified. The meetings appear as how a traveler could encounter a place.
Early sketches proposed an arched shape construction stemming from the adjacent tunnel construction.

The station is positioned as an extension of existing structure, and indicates direction for future development.
New infrastructure indicates a natural position of the new station hall.
The underground platform hall can be constructed without demolishing buildings.
The platform hall connects to the main hall and two secondary entrances.
Parking occurs by the north entrance, pedestrians use the main hall, while bustransfer is located by the south entrance.
To the north, arriving by car (drop-off, parking), and delivery of goods.
Facing south, a new green space creates the frame for arriving by foot.
The space connects excisting green areas, and stitches the town together where it once was split.
One the meeting that occurs, appear in the connection between functions. The station is robust to withstand heavy traffic, but also holds space for softer functions, suchs as shops and eateries. The station is therefore not only designed for logistical needs, but also for the sake of the town, its inhabitants and visitors.
Inside, a terrazzo with a variation of mixtures of the local stone Tønsbergitt is clad. Outside, the pavement would partially be a terrazzo made from stones from the region.

ARCHITECTURE / postindustrial inhabitation
Christiansholm, or colloquially “the Paper Island”, lies in the middle of Copenhagen’s channel. With its large storage buildings, the island an unexpected neighbor to the Play House and the Opera. It’s a central part of the city, yet socially, very isolated. This project is about inhabiting the Paper Island, while preserving its industrial character. The proposed solution consists of a construction of steel columns and beams. The structure stands as a frame in which prefabricated housing modules can be placed. The frame stands as an open structure, flexible to room other future programs.
The post-industrial society is a term for the social structure when an industrial society is transformed into the next phase; a service society based on knowledge.
ARCHITECTURE / a common house
This new common house is designed for an allotment garden in Copenhagen. The suggestion proposes a building that encloses an urban space to the south, while opens up to the diverse allotment houses in the north. The plan is organized according to the same principles, where the different scales are represented through materials.
SITUASJONSPLAN 1:500 Daniel Lund Godbolt, Stud4013. Bachelor 2010, afd.5
The house is built around a concrete core, where kitchen, restrooms and wardrobe is situated. On top of the core, a lounge area is created.A timber frame capsules the core, and creates space for the dining hall, as well as a transparent and fluent connection to the neighboring gardens.

ARCHITECTURE / the bakery at the end of the wall
A master plan was creating through a group assignment. Our solution conscisted of walls within a vast landscape, to create shelter and space for temporarily inhabiting space, but also for more permanent fixtures. The walls are built up by brick, and contains necessary plumbing and technical installations. A dweling can be connected to the wall, to generate a place to stay for short or longer periods.
At the end of the wall, there is a bakery. The bakery is built around the wall, where the wall also creates a chimney and a stove. The stove is the heart of a bakery, and also what organizes the space. Around the wall a timber construction creates the indoor space, clad in natural oak. The roof is in zink. The materials suggest a temporarily fixture, and the wall the permanent one.
