Based in Sheffield city centre, the project aims to re-integrate the Peak District with the city. By adding an environmental research hub and new landscaped gardens the project brings nature into the very heart of the industrial landscape of Sheffield. The hybrid architecture uses reed bed filtration systems and allotments to sufficiently sustain itself as well as providing a beautiful space for the residence of Sheffield.
