FTER MY FIRST year of college, I remember wanting to take some time off so that I could figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I had always been a good student, and my parents had high hopes and dreams for my success, so the last thing they wanted was for me to take time off from school. Remembering that as a little kid I used to love to draw, they suggested that maybe I wanted to take an art class, hoping that this might keep me in school. I decided to take their suggestion and I took a painting class. It came as quite a shock for me when, in this class, I accessed a long-forgotten creative aspect of myself, and realized that not just me, but that everyone, by “our very nature” is creative. As if remembering what I was here to do, over the next few years of university I began reconnecting with my long dormant artistic soul. In the meanwhile, I began losing interest in the field of study I had taken on – economics. This career choice had been greatly influenced by my parents, so this change was very distressing for them, as they had great expectations for their only child’s success in a financially lucrative field. Matters were made worse by the fact that I had been such a promising student that I had been hired by Princeton University to be a paid researcher while still an undergraduate at my university. Conventionally speaking, I was on the fast track to great success, on my way to fulfilling my parents’ dream. And yet, the more I was getting into art and exploring the creative process, the more bored – and depressed - I was becoming in my studies of economics. My father, in his sister’s words to me years later, was “strutting like a peacock” during my tenure at Princeton. He was vicariously living his life through my accomplishments, and to say he was upset when I began moving away from pursuing a career in economics and moving towards, in his eyes, living the life of a struggling artist, would be a huge understatement. He did everything in his power (and then some) to disabuse me of the notion of pursuing art, treating my idea of becoming an artist as if it was a malignant disease that needed to be eradicated from my mind at all costs. He saw my pursuit of a career in art as taking me away from his idea of who he thought I was. This idea, I might add, had nothing to do with who I was but had everything to do with who, due to his own narcissism, he wanted me to be. He saw my interest in art as taking me away from reality, Pencil drawing while I felt my desire to make by Paul Levy, art was getting Study of me in touch with Rembrandt what was truly real. artist must symbolically kill the father, who, mythically speaking, represents the dominant values, the old rules, laws and “shoulds.” The creative artist becomes a hero who must deconstruct the old in order to make possible the dawning of the new. In making and living their own laws, the creative artist transforms, dethrones and overthrows the conventional, soulless world of the traditional canon filled with its life-killing routines to seek and follow an unknown directive, a higher authority, what Jung would call the Self, the wholeness and guiding force of the deeper personality. It is the role of the creative artist to reveal what lies dormant in the unconscious, as if conjuring something to life out of the void. Artists are the first to divine the darkly moving mysterious currents of the collective unconscious. At first there is only the archetypal appearance of the gem deep within the collective unconscious; then unconscious intuition “sees” it, and artists are the ones who feel irresistibly compelled to subsequently search for its adequate formulation. This archetypal dynamic has been symbolically represented from time immemorial in numerous myths and Brien Foerster Jordan Maxwell JONNY ENOCH William Buhlman Dannion Brinkley Barbara Lamb fairy tales. HE LATE PSYCHONAUT/ PHILOSOPHER Terence McKenna once said “The cost of sanity, in this society, is a certain level of alienation,” and I think my regular readers will immediately and experientially understand exactly what he was talking about. It’s not always easy to be on the outside of consensus reality. Our entire society, after all, has been built upon consensus — upon a shared agreement about what specific mouth sounds mean, on what money is and how it works, on how we should all behave toward each other in public spaces, and on what normal human behavior in general looks like. We all share a learned agreement that we picked up from our culture in early childhood that it’s normal and acceptable to stand around with your hands in your pockets and babble about the weather to anyone who gets too close to you, for example, whereas it would be considered weird and disruptive to stand around slathered in Cheese Whiz shrieking the word “Poop!” But we could just as easily reverse that consensus on behavioral norms tomorrow, and as long as we all agreed to it we could do it without missing a beat. In exactly the same way, there exists a general consensus about what’s going on in our world at the moment. There’s a general consensus that we live in the kind of society we were taught about in school: a free and democratic nation which maybe did some not so great things in the past, but is now a supremely virtuous beacon of light on this earth that kicked Hitler’s ass and then surfed into the present day on a wave of truth and sensible fiscal policy. There’s a general consensus that the news reporters on our screens paint us a more or less accurate picture of world affairs, that there are a lot of
Page 3
‘The Cost of Sanity, In This Society, Is A Certain Level Of Alienation’ — Terence McKenna
Bad Guys in our world with whom the Good Guys in our government are fighting, and that most of our nation’s problems are caused by the people in the other political party. This consensus is grounded in delusion. It is insanity. In reality, of course, we live in a world where our understanding of the world is constantly being deceitfully manipulated by oligarchic media propaganda and the utterances of oligarch-owned politicians. Where elections are mostly just a live action role-playing game which allows the rabble to pretend that they have some degree of influence over the things that their government does. Where our government routinely forms alliances with the worst Bad Guys on the planet while manufacturing consent to topple governments whose
downfall would be utterly disastrous. Where our nation’s problems have almost nothing to do with half its population disagreeing with our personal ideology, and practically everything to do with the loose international alliance of plutocrats and government agencies who actually run things behind the facade of the comings and goings of official elected governments. Sanity means seeing this as it is, rather than subscribing to the mass delusion of the consensus worldview. Which, as you probably already know, can make it difficult to relate to others in some ways. Conversations about politics often either get heated very rapidly when you challenge a tightly-held orthodoxy or dead-end in awkwardness. Friendships can end. Family relationships can be ruined. Collective narratives about you can be woven and
circulated within your social circle which have nothing to do with how you actually see things. And that’s just if you talk about your worldview. If you keep your views to yourself, as many do, that’s just another kind of alienation. It’s to stand outside of public political discourse completely, unable to participate out of fear of the backlash you’d receive from your friends, loved ones and acquaintances if you started talking about Trump as a symptom rather than the disease, or said that Corbyn is being targeted by a transparently bogus smear campaign, or said that Russia’s interventions in world affairs are clearly dwarfed by America’s by orders of magnitude. The specific heresies will vary depending upon the social circle, but the inability to voice them necessarily comes with the same sense of alienation. But the alternative to that sense of alienation is to live a lie. It’s to climb back inside the distorted funhouse-mirror reality tunnel of the establishment narrative control matrix and plug yourself back into the same delusions that everyone else is living. Most of us couldn’t even do that if we wanted to. Even if we could the intense mental gymnastics we’d have to perform just to avoid the discomfort of cognitive dissonance would make it not worth the effort. We close ourselves off from a full sense of participation in our society when we depart from the consensus worldview, but in closing that door we open so many more. Because, as it turns out, all that effort that people pour into staying on the same wavelength as everyone else closes them off to a vast spectrum of potential human experience. The allure of the mass delusion is that you need to devote yourself to being plugged into it in order to achieve what the mass delusion defines as “success”, but in so doing you lose the ability to leap down psychological

Editor of The New Agora
And so here we all are. Here we all are together, greater than the sum of our parts, yet again insisting on that truth’s inherent strength, that strength’s implicit truth, truths really: that we are ‘in it’ together, that mass makes might, that together we make the world, if only we dared imagine more for ourselves, and, even, dare I say it: one another. It is through the cracks in our brains that ecstasy creeps in. — Logan Pearsall Smith

EACHING FOR THAT magic number of change, beginning again, with this very first issue of our third Volume, in the futuristic year of 2020, we welcome you, dear reader, to the Show. New year, new logo, new volume, new day, new agora. Who doesn’t enjoy a new day? If there’s one thing we can surely all agree on together it’s that we all share the same love of a fresh start, new beginnings, the novel crack of an unfamiliar book opened, that perfume of promise, the crisp clean coolness of that wonderful shining newness, a metaphor for first times, for best times, for the adventure just begun, for youth at any age, present in every dawn for the young and old and the timeless truth of all beings. As our latest cover play happily communicates, to newcomers and those many, many loyal readers and long-time patrons who have been with us for the long haul, we are, once again, changing. To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly. – Henri Bergson During our tenure curating Truth and Freedom in these crazy days where both have become terribly unfashionable and often times even criminal in the extreme, we have found it wise and strategic to remain fluid in the way we walk and work in this dimensional reality. Undesirous of fanning the flatulent flames of fear so purposely primed and ready to ignite and combust the very air we breathe, nor wishing to trample on anyone, misguided or otherwise, deserving or otherwise, it really has been quite the lesson in modern dance. Who knew Lorenzo and I were to become veritable paragons of peace, soft-shoeing our way through fields of frenzied foolishness? Heavens! Watch your step & don’t stop the

Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t. — Steve Maraboli The egomaniacal madness presently possessing the masses and its institutions is no easy obstacle course in which to navigate throughout one’s life, and all to supposedly ‘make a decent living’. No doubt you’ve noticed this yourself as it’s a rather inescapable feature set up from the get-go of our experience here, for one and all, fun for the whole family. They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.
Our change is a movement of energy at its core, more so a crystallization in the sense of concentrated powers and intent, one whose gravity has worked to attract a host of like-minded and self-directed participators keen on cooperatively co-creating the best possible version of who and what and where we are regardless of the dark shenanigans of these ‘interesting times’. “Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. The fact that he has created his own pain, his own setbacks, his own poverty, his own illness, is absolutely preposterous to him, for he has no conscious recollection of ever even scripting that into his play. He looks at the disheartened art around him and decides that he is normal; he is just the victim of an unfair life as much as anyone else. And so he continues to feel justified in his belief of himself as the victim of a degrading story, forever looping and materializing this reality into his existence. This is the experience of modern humanity’s belief systems in a nutshell.
Beliefs Create Form
“Your world is a living expression of how you are using and have used your mind.” -Earl Nightingale
In this world, our beliefs are our utensils and our lives are our canvas. In simple terms: there is no doubt, logically and intuitively, that we are master creators of our own experience. What we believe, we create. This crystal-clear truth is evident to those who have used it for their success. The more humanity sees this for themselves the more it will evolve to new heights. Changing our reality is only as difficult as we believe it to be. When we sincerely understand the thought-constructive nature of the universe and the massive role of the subconscious mind, we will stop looping into self-sabotage, realizing our ability to create fulfillment for ourselves. This is the way of the new paradigm of free humans. Already we see solutions arise as Page 5

Free your inner pioneer, your Dreamer, your creative consciousness. Blooming is the point! In a sense this is our sacred duty, one that can only be fulfilled by each and every one of us on our own. If you find yourself following trends & fashions, or anything or anyone… ask yourself at what cost exactly do you do so? By all means triangulate and study the movements and thoughts of the day, but don’t lose yourself in them. Allow the world to teach you what it will: then go your own way. You’ll eventually find the best of us doing the same. T’was ever so. When people are ready to, they change. They never do it before then, and sometimes they die before they get around to it. You can’t make them change if they don’t want to, just like when they do want to, you can’t stop them. - Andy Warhol We are all changing. Whether we age like complex wine or spoil like evil cheese, it could be said that our choices determine our fates, and that the power of our decisions is all we really have. So have a care, as with every action we make of ourselves what we will. Change, when it comes, cracks everything open. — Dorothy Allison Cheers! innovative minds discover new possibilities. In the study of epigenetics, biologists show that it is not the genes that control our fate, but the environment of the genes that are the true builders of your cellular community (aka: your body). The environment of your genes (i.e. your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, etc.) are what give the information directly to the 50 trillion cells in your body that decide how to use these genes, not the genes themselves. Subconsciously or consciously, YOU are the operator of your DNA. As you change your thoughts, you change your life. In the cuttingedge work of Dr. Bruce Lipton, he makes it clear that we are not victims of our reality, but are creators of it. The enslavement on this planet has been less physical than it has been psychological; for the mind is the root, or perhaps the conductor, of all material manifestation. It is no mystery why humanity’s creative capacity has been literally harnessed by those who wish to dominate the world, and thereby have it used against them. After all, if your thoughts and feelings weren’t such powerful fuel for creation, why would everyone want to control them so badly? We cannot overlook the fact that many of our beliefs are not our own, and when it comes down to the official stories of the world we’ve been given, we know very little about who we really are. Our deep-rooted and usually subconscious ideas of ourselves and others control our destiny. Until we take the initiative to become aware of these deepseated (or should I say deep-seeded) dogmas and transform them, they will decide the way our art form takes place. As Carl Jung wisely said, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” Nonetheless, one need not feel guilty for contributing to the casualties of their

SILOCYBIN IS A naturally occurring prodrug (prodrug: a medication or compound that, after administration, is metabolized into a pharmacologically active drug. Ed.) that is synthesized by over 200 mushrooms of the Psilocybe (pronounced sil-owe-si-bee) genus. It belongs to a class of drugs often referred to as hallucinogens or entheogens. Humans have used these compounds for millennia, from tribal peoples conducting rituals and ceremonies, to secretive cults in Ancient Greece utilizing them to induce creative and insightful epiphanies. This is perhaps why the Greeks possessed advanced astronomical and scientific understanding. The biological mechanisms behind why these drugs
induce effects including synesthesia, spiritual or mystical feelings of connectedness, out of body experiences, and even communication with otherworldly entities, are not fully explainable by current scientific knowledge. What we can scientifically quantify is that various species of the Psilocybe genus produce differing concentrations of many psychotropic tryptamine compounds, the most prevalent of these being psilocybin, psilocin, and baeocystin. Contrary to popular belief, the compound that produces the mind-altering effects associated with Psilocybe mushrooms is not psilocybin, but psilocin. After you eat ‘magic mushrooms’ psilocybin is dephosphorylated (the removal of a phosphorus molecule) by the liver into psilocin, whose molecular structure is highly similar to that of serotonin, one of the most important neurotransmitters in the human brain. Psilocin is so similar to serotonin that it is able to bind with numerous serotonin receptors (specifically the 5HT2 and 5HT2a receptors). When this bond is formed it causes drastic changes in neural chemistry, transmission and cross-network communication. Primarily the increased secretion of Glutamate & Brain Derived Neutrophic Factor, dampening of the Default Mode Network, and the re-routing of information through brain networks that are not connected in the “sober” state of consciousness. n Glutamate is a vital neurotransmitter that accounts for over 90% of the synaptic connections in the brain, and is involved in crucial brain functions like cognition, learning, memory, and energy acquisition. n Brain Derived Neutrophic factor is a
Page 6
Psilocybin Mushrooms Mystic Meets Science protein that helps to stimulate and control the process of neurogenesis, it also plays a key role in long-term memory, neural development, coordination, and the deciphering of sensory input by the brain. n The Default Mode Network is responsible for a variety of cognitive functions including day-dreaming, selfreflection, and the ability to perceive the past, present, and future. Some studies suggest that depression is linked to an overactive DMN. The theory behind this is the possibility that a highly active DMN causes us to extensively ruminate, over-analyze, and become removed from the present moment to question the past and the future. Although it has been known that ingesting mushrooms produces an enhanced, transcendent state of consciousness for countless generations, little research has
million people worldwide. Legacy institutions including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and Johns Hopkins University are studying the safety and efficacy of psilocybin in treating a host of psychological conditions, including depression, addiction, PTSD, and OCD. Congruent with humanities’ sparse knowledge of why psilocybin affects our cognitive function so drastically, it is also unclear to us why mushrooms of the Psilocybe genus synthesize the mind-altering compounds psilocybin and psilocin. One theory suggests that it is a mycological defence system, causing a reduction in the appetite of insects in close proximity to the mushroom. While from the conventional scientific perspective this seems a logical conclusion, the conventional position throughout history has consistently been proven wrong and amended. We should not rule out the possibility that psilocybin, along with other naturally occurring “psychedelic” compounds like Di-Methyl-Tryptamine (DMT) and Mescaline, have evolved symbiotically with humankind developing increased selfawareness. The postulation that psilocybin and

been conducted on the topic by the scientific establishment. In the 1960’s there was a flurry of studies that showed immense promise for psychedelics. Some researchers even theorized that they could assist in mystic practices like remote viewing, mind control, and telepathic communication. However, this flourishing state of open-mindedness was short lived. In 1970, the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act was passed, and swiftly halted all research into the vast, untapped potential of psychedelics. This prohibition endured for over 40 years until around 2010, when the perception towards psychedelics of authorities and institutions alike began to shift towards the recognition of medical benefits associated with these drugs. Today the unquestionable benefits of psychedelic substances, psilocybin in particular, have been acknowledged by governing bodies as influential as the FDA, who have given psilocybin a “breakthrough therapy” designation, in an attempt to fasttract the drugs process through clinical trials as a treatment for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), a condition which affects over 300
other naturally occurring psychotropics are linked to human capacity for consciousness and self-awareness, and responsible in part for the doubling of our brain size in, from an evolutionary perspective, “the blink of an eye” is a theory first put forth by Terrence Mckenna. Mckenna was a legendary psychonaut and activist who believed that psychedelics were a “Rosetta Stone” for understanding and deciphering human consciousness, and crucial for us to further evolve into fully aware and understanding beings. This belief was perhaps also held by numerous tribal peoples, who revered these substances and believed them to allow communication with “the gods”. Interestingly this is actually congruent with modern scientific research showing that under controlled conditions and with specific intention set, psilocybin can reliably induce spiritual or mystical experiences and communication with entities either created within the mind of the subject, or from another dimension. One of the key factors that science cannot explain about psychedelics is the importance
of set, setting and intention in determining the result of a psychedelic experience. Your physical surroundings, for example temperature, others around you, auditory stimulation, and your level of familiarity with these variables play a role almost as important as the dosage of the drug itself. Research at Johns Hopkins University recently confirmed what Shamans have known for eons, that music is inexplicably intertwined with human neurochemical reward systems, consciousness, and as a function its frequency and vibration, the universe as a whole. They have curated a playlist, noting the tempo and arrangement of tracks, that builds into a crescendo peaking around 2 hours into the playlist (also when the effects of psilocybin peak) in an effort to assist an individual into having a truly profound experience. I recommend all psychedelic users listen to this list during their next experience. Along with exogenous stimulation your mindset and intention of what you want to get out of the experience also has the potential to drastically alter what you will feel while psilocybin is being metabolized. Personally, I set intent on becoming more sociable, and overcoming my somewhat introverted nature. I ask the mushroom what I can do to strengthen both the varied relationships in my life, and my own psyche against negative feelings like rejection and inadequacy. Often the answer is challenging, and forces me to step out of my ‘comfort-zone’, however I feel that the results have been extremely vindicating, and that psychedelics have been the catalyst for immense personal growth, making me a more empathetic, generous, self-aware, and relaxed person. In conclusion, similar to consciousness itself, we understand much of the biological function underpinning a psychedelic experience (described above) but seem to lack a crucial component of why it works, why every individuals experience differs, and how these substances evolved to interact with consciousness in such a metaphysical way. When one ingests these substances, the intense feelings of connectedness, love, empathy and understanding, and the realization that these emotions are antediluvian (older than civilization itself) is so strong that it can be overwhelming. During the experience you are flooded with emotion, often see geometric patterns, consistent with sacred geometry, that seem to be the undergirding of the entire universe. You are able to clearly and efficiently find insights as if from an omniscient perspective, while your mind freely wanders a vastly expansive and immersive realm that can only be accessed through ingesting the wondrous compound that humans call Psilocybin. Study Suggests Psilocybin Can ‘Reset’ The Brains of Depressed People
SILOCYBIN, THE ACTIVE ingredient in “magic mushrooms,” continues to show promise as a natural treatment for anxiety and depression. In fact, in a recently-published study, reduced symptoms were recorded weeks after depressed patients supplemented the fungi. Furthermore, before and after brain scans showed significant changes in brain activity associated with depressive symptoms. The study was conducted by researchers at Imperial College London. Twenty patients with treatment-resistant depression received two doses of psilocybin (10 mg and 25 mg) one week apart. Nineteen had brain imaging done before the treatment and “after” scans were taken after the second treatment. The MRI images were used to compare changes in blood flow and in communication between the brain regions. Researchers first observed reduced blood flow in the temporal cortex. They also saw decreased blood flow in the amygdala, a small, almond-shaped region which helps to process emotional responses (such as fear, stress, and anger). A significant relationship between decreased blood flow in the region and reduced depressive symptoms was noted. Participants also filled out questionnaires to report on their mental states. They noted a lightening of their depression after the treatments, as well as the feeling that their
brains had somehow changed. “Several of our patients described feeling ‘reset’ after the treatment and often used computer analogies,” explained Robin Carhart-Harris, who led the study. “For example, one said he felt like his brain had been ‘defragged’ like a computer hard drive, and another said he felt ‘rebooted.’ Psilocybin may be giving these individuals the temporary ‘kick start’ they need to break out of their depressive states and these imaging results do tentatively support a ‘reset’ analogy. Similar brain effects to these have been seen with
electroconvulsive therapy.” The finding offers an exciting glimpse into brain networks, which disintegrate under the influence of psychedelics but possibly re-integrate afterward. It also supports previous research which suggests that psilocybin is more effective at dissolving the root cause of mental conditions, including anxiety and depression, than pharmaceutical drugs. In a recent study, Dr. Robin CarhartHarris compared the two approaches. He found that participants who supplement with psilocybin often experience a cathartic
“release” whereas folks who are prescribed pharmaceutical drugs regularly feel emotionally “blunted.” “If you ask people who are taking SSRIs chronically, they often say ‘I feel blunted’,” Dr. Carhart-Harris told The Independent. “With psilocybin therapy they say the opposite, they talk about an emotional release, a reconnection, and this key emotional centre being more responsive.” This latest study provides more evidence for psilocybin’s potential as an antidepressant. More research is needed, of course. However, the future is hopeful for individuals who suffer from painful and oftentimes debilitating mental conditions. UMI THE GREAT mystic poet said, “There is no liquid like a tear from a lover’s eye.” He also said, “There comes a holy and transparent time when every touch of beauty opens the heart to tears. This is the time the Beloved of heaven is brought tenderly on earth. This is the time of the opening of the Rose.” My Tears Flow My Being Opens Totally As your heart fills with feelings expand yourself, prepare to meet the enormity of your own divine being. The tears of the melting heart can melt all barriers between you and your own deeper and higher self. Jesus wept and we know that the soul takes no space without the tears of the melting heart to grace one’s life. And old Jewish proverb tells us that what soap is for the body tears are for the soul and Psalms 126:5 says “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy” and Psalms 30:5 reads, “Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning” Every tear that your heart sheds is a golden drop of sun. I weigh each one in my heart of hearts not knowing from which they all come from. I drink the fluid that runs from your eyes knowing you better with every drop. “Man is like an onion. When you peel away the layers, all that is left is tears,” wrote Rabbi Nachman of Bratslav, a Hasidic master. “The fruits of the inner man begin only with the shedding of tears. When you reach the place of tears, then know that your spirit has come out from the prison of this world and has set its foot upon the path that

A Secret Cause of Disease — Loss of Heart What Soap is for the Body-Tears are for the Soul leads towards the new age,” wrote Saint Isaac of Nineveh. The Heart represents our basic capacity to care and feel. Inside the purified and free heart is a flow, a river, a current, a passion for life and a healing power that no medical treatment can compete with. The greatest force for health is the human heart. The purpose of our life here on this earth is to contact our being, expand and grow our being by coming into a direct relationship with the essence of our heart’s true nature. And what is this true nature? The heart is the vulnerability of being. Emotional intelligence comes with an appreciation of each feeling’s role and function in our awareness. Life stripped of feelings is a life stripped of meaning. Emotional tears heal the heart by returning us to it. Thus crying makes us feel better even if we are not better or the situation is not improving. Dr. Judith Orloff says, “It is good to cry. It is healthy to cry. This helps to emotionally clear sadness and stress. Crying is also essential to resolve grief, when waves of tears periodically come over us after we experience a loss. Tears help us process the loss so we can keep living with open hearts. Otherwise, we are a set up for depression if we suppress these potent feelings. When a friend apologized for curling up in the fetal position on my floor,
It feels cleansing, a way to purge pent up emotions so they don’t lodge in my body as stress symptoms such as fatigue or pain. To stay healthy and release stress, I encourage my patients to cry. For both men and women, tears are a sign of courage, strength and authenticity.” We cannot begin to flow towards another person or towards our own higher or inner being until the psychic skin covering the heart is removed. The tears of By Mac Worthington the melting heart are the key to disperse weeping, depressed over a failing romance, I the cobwebs of our mind releasing us into the told her, ‘Your tears blessed my floor. Continued from Page 8 but the simple welling up feeling that almost always accompanies the crossing and crisscrossing of the barriers between the heart and the head. These tears are more like a divine fluid. The tears of the heart are precious and the pure of heart always cherish the liquid river of tears. When we first open the heart a river of feelings is released which swamps the mind and its habitual defenses. We feel overwhelmed because our usual cool control is lost. The coolness of the separate personality is swept away as familiar ground moves from under our feet. Though most fear this moment, it is such a release, such a lightening of our load. Our real self is freed from the iron grip our ego normally holds over heart consciousness. When we open our hearts we are surrendering ourselves to the vastness and strength and love of God. We open ourselves and make ourselves vulnerable to a great being that is one with all beings. Open to experience, open to it all. It’s thrilling and sometimes even terrifying. Open to love and this is something else again.
A Secret Cause of Disease – Loss of Heart Disease can show us how invulnerable we have become, how walled off we are from the world and our own inner reality of pure being. One of the great secrets of life has to do with the power of the heart and what a return to its vulnerability can offer a person sick or dying of disease. There is a quality of heart and pure
being that can be called grace. The grace of the heart offers us a quality of being that is healing, animating, invigorating, supporting, nurturing, and comforting. The grace of the heart offers an inner tranquility and peace that the mind by itself rarely possesses. Dr. Steven Stosny writes about the strong resistance we have to vulnerability saying, “Your core vulnerability is the emotional state that is most dreadful to you, in reaction to which you’ve developed the strongest defenses. Other states of vulnerability are more tolerable if they avoid stimulating your core vulnerability and less bearable when they don’t. For most people, either fear (of harm, isolation, deprivation) or shame (of failure) constitutes their core vulnerability.” However, when we face our deepest fears and vulnerabilities, we become stronger and more capable of giving and receiving love. Deep in the nuclear core of the heart is a love of life and a love of love. Some beings come here to earth with such a strong heart that no circumstance can beat it out of them. In them is a furnace of heart energy and like the sun it will not be denied though they might have to go through great struggles to release and express this energy. When fighting serious diseases like cancer we need to access the power and strength of our hearts, of love, because this will strengthen our immune systems and give us the will to change the things we need to change and face what we must, even if its death or the death of a loved one. Life is demanding more heart, more love and thus more tears if we wish to navigate through the increasing stresses of life without being ripped apart. GET THE QUESTION often, though one would think it’s obvious – Who are these “globalists” we refer to so much in the liberty movement? Sometimes the request comes from honest people who only want to learn more. Sometimes it comes from disinformation agents attempting to mire discussion on the issue with assertions that the globalists “don’t exist”. The answer to the question can be simple and complex at the same time. In order to understand who the globalists are, we first have to understand what they want. We talk a lot about the “globalists” because, frankly, their agenda has become more open than ever in the past ten years. There was a time not long ago when the idea of the existence of “globalists” was widely considered “conspiracy theory”. There was a time when organizations like the Bilderberg Group did not officially exist and the mainstream media rarely ever reported on them. There was a time when the agenda for one world economy and a one world government was highly secretive and mentioned only in whispers in the mainstream. And, anyone who tried to expose this information to the public was called a “tinfoil hat wearing lunatic”. Today, the mainstream media writes puff-pieces about the Bilderberg Group and even jokes about their secrecy. When members of Donald Trump’s cabinet, Mike Pompeo and Jared Kushner, attended Bilderberg in 2019, the mainstream media was wallpapered with the news. When the World Government Summit meets each year in Dubai, attended by many of the same people that attend Bilderberg as well as shady mainstream icons and gatekeepers like Elon Musk and Neil deGrasse Tyson, they don’t hide their
“conspiracy theory” no longer holds up anymore. In reality, the people who made such accusations a few years ago now look like idiots as the establishment floods the media with information and propaganda promoting everything the liberty movement has been warning about. The argument on whether or not a globalist agenda “exists” is OVER. The liberty movement and the alternative media won that debate, and through our efforts we have even forced the establishment into admitting the existence of some of their plans for a completely centralized global system managed by them. Now, the argument has changed. The mainstream doesn’t really deny anymore that the globalists exist; they talk about whether or not the globalist agenda is a good mearone.com thing or a bad thing. First, I would point out the sheer level of deception and discussions or their goals, they post them on disinformation used by the YouTube. globalists over the past several decades. This I remember when talking about the deception is designed to maneuver the public US dollar being dethroned and replaced towards accepting a one world economy and with a new one world currency system eventually one world governance. If you and a cashless society controlled by the have to lie consistently to people about your IMF was treated as bizarre theory. Now ideology in order to get them to support it, it’s openly called for by numerous leaders then there must be something very wrong in the financial industry and in economic with your ideology. governance. The claim that these things are Second, the establishment may be going

Centralization A globalist believes everything must be centralized, from finance to money to social access to production to government. They argue that centralization makes the system “more fair” for everyone, but in reality they desire a system in which they have total control over every aspect of life. Globalists, more than anything, want to dominate and micro-manage every detail of civilization and socially engineer humanity into the image they prefer.
One World Currency System And Cashless Society As an extension of centralization, globalists want a single currency system for the world. Not only this, but they want it digitized and easy to track. Meaning, a cashless society in which every act of trade by every person can be watched and scrutinized. If trade is no longer private, preparation for rebellion becomes rather difficult. When all resources can be managed and restricted to a high degree at the local level, rebellion would become unthinkable because the system becomes the parent and provider and the source of life. A one world currency and cashless system would be the bedrock of one world governance. You

public with their plans for globalization, but they aren’t being honest about the consequences for the average person. And, there are many misconceptions out there, even in the liberty movement, about what exactly these people want. So, we need to construct a list of globalist desires vs globalist lies in order to define who we are dealing with. These are the beliefs and arguments of your run-of-the-mill globalist:
AND SAVE 15%
Continued from Page 10 cannot have one without the other.
One World Government Globalists want to erase all national borders and sovereignty and create a single elite bureaucracy, a one world empire in which they are the “philosopher kings” as described in Plato’s Republic. As Richard N. Gardner, former deputy assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations under Kennedy and Johnson, and a member of the Trilateral Commission, wrote in the April, 1974 issue of the Council on Foreign Relation’s (CFR) journal Foreign Affairs (pg. 558) in an article titled ‘The Hard Road To World Order’: “In short, the ‘house of world order’ will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down. It will look like a great ‘booming, buzzing confusion,’ to use William James’ famous description of reality, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the oldfashioned frontal assault.” This system would be highly inbred, though they may continue to give the masses the illusion of public participation and “democracy” for a time. Ultimately, the globalists desire a faceless and unaccountable round table government, a seat of power which acts as an institution with limited liability, much like a corporation, and run in the same sociopathic manner without legitimate public oversight. In the globalist world, there will be no redress of grievances.
Sustainability as Religion Globalists often use the word “sustainability” in their white papers and agendas, from Agenda 21 to Agenda 2030. Environmentalism is the facade they employ to guilt the population into supporting global governance, among other things. As I noted in my recent article ‘Why Is The Elitist Establishment So Obsessed With Meat’, fake environmentalism and fraudulent global warming “science” is being exploited by globalists to demand control over everything from how much electricity you can use in your home, to how many children you can have, to how much our society is allowed to manufacture or produce, to what you are allowed to eat. The so-called carbon pollution threat, perhaps the biggest scam in history, is a key component of the globalist agenda. As the globalist organization The Club of Rome, a sub-institution attached to the United Nations, stated in their book The First Global Revolution: “In searching for a common enemy against whom we can unite, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat
of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like, would fit the bill. In their totality and their interactions these phenomena do constitute a common threat which must be confronted by everyone together. But in designating these dangers as the enemy, we fall into the trap, which we have already warned readers about, namely mistaking symptoms for causes. All these dangers are caused by human intervention in natural processes. and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy then is humanity itself.”
In other words, by presenting human beings as a species as the great danger, the globalists hope to convince humanity to sublimate itself before the mother earth goddess and beg to be kept in line. And, as the self-designated “guardians” of the Earth, the elites become the high priests of the new religion of sustainability. They and they alone would determine who is a loyal servant and who is a heretic. Carbon pollution becomes the new “original sin”; everyone is a sinner against the Earth, for everyone breaths and uses resources, and we must all do our part to appease the Earth by sacrificing as much as possible, even ourselves. The elites don’t believe in this farce, they created it. The sustainability cult is merely a weapon to be used to dominate mass psychology and make the populace more malleable.
Population Control Globalists come from an ideological background which worships eugenics – the belief that genetics must be controlled and regulated, and those people they deem to be undesirables must be sterilized or exterminated. The modern eugenics movement was launched by the Rockefeller Foundation in the early 1900s in America, and was treated as a legitimate scientific endeavor for decades. Eugenics was taught in schools and even celebrated at the World’s Fair.
States like California that adopted eugenics legislation forcefully sterilized tens of thousands of people and denied thousands of marriage certificates based on genetics. The system was transferred to Germany in the 1930s were it gained world renown for its inherent brutality. This ideology holds that 4% or less of the population is genetically worthy of leadership, and the elites conveniently assert that they represent part of that genetic purity. After WWII the public developed a distaste for the idea of eugenics and population control, but under the guise of environmentalism the agenda is making a comeback, as population reduction in the name of “saving the Earth” is in the mainstream media once again. The question then arises – Who gets to decide who lives and who dies? Who gets to decide who is never born? And, how will they come to their decisions? No doubt a modern form of eugenics will be presented as the “science” used to “fairly” determine the content of the population if the elites get their way.
Narcissistic Sociopathy It is interesting that the globalists used 4% to present the leadership argument in their eugenics publications, because 4% of the population is also consistent with the number of people who have inherent sociopathy or narcissistic sociopathy, either in latent or full-blown form, with 1% of people identified as full-blown psychopaths and the rest as latent. Coincidence? The behavior of the globalists is consistent with the common diagnosis of full-blown narcopaths, a condition which is believed to be inborn and incurable. Narcopaths (psychopaths) are devoid of empathy and are often self-obsessed. They suffer from delusions of grandeur and see themselves as “gods” among men. They believe other lowly people are tools to be used for their pleasure or to further their ascendance to godhood. They lie incessantly as a survival mechanism and are good at determining what people want to hear. Narcopaths feel no compassion towards those they harm or murder, yet crave attention and adoration from the same people they see as inferior. More than anything, they seek the power to micro-manage the lives of everyone around them and to feed off those people like a parasite feeds off a host victim.
Luciferianism It is often argued by skeptics that
psychopaths cannot organize cohesively, because such organizations would self-destruct. These people simply don’t know what they’re talking about. Psychopaths throughout history organize ALL THE TIME, from tyrannical governments to organized crime and religious cults. The globalists have their own binding ideologies and methods for organization. One method is to ensure benefits to those who serve the group (as well as punishments for those who stray). Predators often work together as long as there is ample prey. Another method is the use of religious or ideological superiority; making adherents feel like they are part of an exclusive and chosen few destined for greatness. This is a highly complicated issue which requires its own essay to examine in full. I believe I did this effectively in my article ‘Luciferians: A Secular Look At A Destructive Globalist Belief System’. Needless to say, this agenda is NOT one that globalists are willing to admit to openly very often, but I have outlined extensive evidence that luciferianism is indeed the underlying globalist cult religion. It is essentially an ideology which promotes moral relativism, the worship of the self and the attainment of godhood by any means necessary – which fits perfectly with globalism and globalist behavior. It is also the only ideological institution adopted by the UN, through the UN’s relationship with Lucis Trust, also originally called Lucifer Publishing Company. Lucis Trust still has a private library within the UN building today. So, now that we know the various agendas and identifiers of globalists, we can now ask “Who are the globalists?” The answer is – ANYONE who promotes the above agendas, related arguments, or any corporate or political leader who works directly with them. This includes presidents who claim to be anti-globalist while also filling their cabinets with people from globalist organizations. To make a list of names is simple; merely study the membership rosters of globalists organizations like the Bilderberg Group, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, Tavistock Institute, the IMF, the BIS, World Bank, the UN, etc. You will find a broad range of people from every nation and every ethnicity ALL sharing one goal – A world in which the future for every other person is dictated by them for all time; a world in which freedom is a memory and individual choice is a commodity only they have the right to enjoy. Homage to the Creative Spirit
reality is telling us directly about itself, as if it is a bridge leading us to an unknown shore. To quote Neumann, “When unconscious forces break through in the artist, when the archetypes striving to be born into the light of the world take form in him, he is as far from the men around him as he is close to their destiny. For he expresses and gives form to the future of his epoch.”[iv] The creative artist is giving utterance to the authentic and direct revelation of the numinosum, which raises their function to the level of the sacred (please see my article “The Artist as Healer of the World”). Artists are oriented towards the invisible, towards what is beginning to become visible and reveal itself, towards the indescribable mystery alive at the heart of who we are. The images, sounds and movements that the artist perceives are possibilities of new ideas, different ways of seeing and interpreting life which might be able to give a fresh flow to the psychic energy stream of humanity, as if they are clearing the way not only for new tributaries of thought, perception and experience, but are helping to create a novel universe itself. Jung writes, “It is the great dream which has always spoken through the artist as a mouthpiece.”[v] Art is where the relationship of the creative individual to the numinosum takes form. The work of art is the zero point at which consciousness and the unconscious momentarily become a creative unity. The creative process synthesizes the transpersonal and the personal, the eternal and the transitory, allowing something utterly unique to happen: the eternally creative is actualized into an ephemeral creation. The creative impulse liberates itself through the medium of art. The artist’s job is to render into visible form the creative, formative and formless quality that is the living background behind the foreground of the seemingly objective world. The act of creating draws artists out of themselves while simultaneously helping them to come to themselves, as if in creating the work of art artists recreate themselves anew. Reversing our normal way of thinking, Shakespeare is created by Hamlet, Beethoven is composed by his symphonies, Rembrandt became who he was through his self-portraits and it is the egg that lays the hen that gives birth to it.[vi] The road which brings liberation is a road which leads downwards towards a deepening relationship and ultimate union with the depths of the unconscious, with the instinctual world of nature and the ancestors, whose messenger is the shadow. It is only when we are “taken down,” compelled by sickness, misfortune or limitation to investigate and come to terms with our own nature, that we may experience the somber power of the shadow as a messenger from the creative potential living within our own psyche. Lucifer, the bringer of light, chooses the shadow through which to reveal himself. The shadow is an essential component of our creative vitality. It is the paradoxical secret of alchemical transformation that it is through the shadow that the saturnine lead is transformed into gold. Humanity does not possess creative powers, but rather, is possessed by them. Every transformative or creative process comprises stages of possession, of surrendering to, being taken over and moved by something greater than our own ego. Transcendent to and greater than the momentary act of creation, these primordial creative forces existed before and after the act of creation, existing within the plenum of unmanifest potential itself. One of the many names for this power that can possess us and make us its instrument is the “daemon” (please see my article “The Battle for our Angel”), which can be envisioned as an indwelling force which can’t be nailed down because its nature is to be homeless and nomadic, taking up residence in those who are receptive to its inspiration. The artist stands alone, delivered over to the creative impulse of the daemon, as if to create is the very act Page 12
that opens up the channel to themselves. Being from elsewhere, the daemon has a drop of alien blood, which is what makes creative artists practically an alien species, as they see, hear and feel things that are invisible to most people. Every possession is either a one-sided narrowing or an intensification and deepening; when we are taken over by something we either become one-sidedly fixed in our viewpoint and cut off from the wholeness and totality of ourselves, or we are able to add depth to our experience of who we are. One-sidedness can easily calcify into rigidity, assuming a fundamentalist position regarding
the way things are, which is nothing other than a sclerosis of consciousness. To have eyes and not see, to have ears and not hear are unmistakable symptoms of an occlusion to the call of the creative spirit. The creative process involves a concentration and deepening of experience such that we are open to ourselves in a new way that empowers us to translate our ever-expanding discovery of ourselves into new forms of language. An artist’s regenerative power lies in their willingness to not cling to themselves or their fixed point of view, but to allow themselves to be shaped and formed by new experiences of the world, and then, in turn, to shape and form these experiences which have reshaped them into unique creative expressions. An artist cultivates a readiness to creatively respond to the continually reciprocal interactions between world and psyche, between the outer and inner realities. Art enlarges the universe by uncovering its new dimensions, while simultaneously enriching and expanding the consciousness of humanity, who will be enabled to experience these new dimensions inwardly via the artist’s evocative productions, their art-ifacts. To quote philosopher Martin Heidegger,[vii] The creativity of the psyche – which itself is an agency in a state of continual creative formation - is true magic, as it transforms reality as well as the psyche itself. As psychologist Otto Rank points out, the neurotic is an artist who, failing to access the creativity hidden within the daemonic energies from which they suffer, are unable to transmute their inner conflicts into art. One of the most toxic things in the human psyche is repressed creativity; unexpressed art becomes our symptoms. The daemonic, which contains encoded within it the deepest evil as well as the highest, divine creativity, is the daily companion, as well as the inspiration of every creative artist. It is through coming to terms with the daemon that art is made. It is an ecstatic experience to allow what is highest and lowest in ourselves to take form and shape together. To quote Neumann, “Creative genius is never possible without the proximity of the devil.”[viii] In immersing themselves in archetypal forces greater than their own egos, artists allow themselves to become captivated by a power which threatens to destroy them if not brought forth and expressed creatively. An artist synthesizes their higher transcendental inclinations with the dark undertow of the powers of underworld, as if their higher angel needs a grounding connection with its brooding double to complete itself. In their own individual suffering of the daemonic realm which pervades the collective unconscious, the creative artist intimately experiences the profound depths of the
woundedness of the collectivity and the time in which they live. Artists are able to find within their own subjective experience a unique and creative response to this wound. Artists take the burden of the collective creative responsibility onto themselves so that others might see through the transparency of their art what is lacking in their own lives. Reflecting the malaise of the culture, modern art depicts the sickness of the times. Artists, like the archetypal figure of the shaman, carry deep within themselves a regenerative force, accessed through their own woundedness, that is capable of bringing forth a cure not only for themselves, but also for the community as a whole. Our species is desperately in need of the guidance and aid of the forces latent within the depths of the unconscious to help us find new ways out of our multiple world crises. Consciousness can evolve and develop only where it preserves and cultivates a living bond with the creative powers of the unconscious. A creative artist is someone with very permeable boundaries between the conscious and the unconscious such that the contents of these two realms can easily pass back and forth to mutually inform and reciprocally influence each other. In suffering from the spiritual poverty and schizoid dissociation of their own culture, the creative artist can potentially arrive at the freshly opening source within the living waters of the unconscious that is destined to quench the thirst of their time. Only the source point, in which the stream emerges from the darkness and enters the light, and is thus both at once, darkness and light, is the creative spirit made real in time. Those who find their uniquely creative voice, to quote Jung, “create from the very depths of the collective unconscious, voicing aloud what others only dream.”[ix] The daemon which possesses the artist is not derived simply from their personal reality; it is also, at the same time, the individual expression of a collective existential situation. Creative artists are the alchemical retorts in which the poisons and antidotes of the collective are distilled, as if they are psychic organs for metabolizing and transforming the toxins of the collective psyche into medicine. Being open to the otherworld of the unconscious can subjectively feel like having an enormous wound. Their particularized wounds are the doorways through which flows the revitalizing stream of the unconscious with its infinite creativity. Over time this wound can reveal itself to be a sacred affliction, as our wounds are mysteriously bound up with our gifts. Compared to the “normal” person who tends to be more repressed, adjusted to and anesthetized towards the insanity that is playing out in the world, artists suffer from a heightened sensitivity to the inner psychic tension between the conscious and the unconscious. Art can only be birthed when its creators are able to hold the creative tension between a stable consciousness and a “charged” unconscious, thereby creating a container for the work of art to find its unique form so as to fully incarnate. Bearing this creative tension can be a source of vital energy which nourishes the gestating work of art to grow within the artist’s psyche. This creative tension needs to be endured, involving a genuine suffering of the ego which can potentially lead to a greater creative birth. As Nietzsche writes in Thus Spoke Zarathustra, “Creation─that is the great redemption from suffering.” It is redemptive to find adequate language for our suffering; a language called art. Art is the medium through which artists release themselves from the suffering of the unexpressed. When we have our own words to sing, our voice appears. Artists liberate
God’s Eye by themselves from suffering by connecting with and giving novel shape and form to something that belongs to the essential nature of reality. To quote Neumann, “Consequently, the individual history of every creative man is always close to the abyss of sickness; he does not, like other men, tend to heal the personal wounds involved in all development by an increased adaptation to the collectivity. His wounds remain open, but his suffering from them is situated in depths from which another curative power arises, and this curative power is the creative process.”[x] The artist is akin to the archetypal figure of the “wounded healer,” who has to suffer through the very sickness that they are able to cure (please see my article “The Wounded Healer”). This figure experiences their wound, however horrible, as being of divine origins. The wound is experienced as the opening to a higherdimensional spring of inexhaustible riches, the
gateway which opens them up to the psychic background which in-forms and gives shape to the universe. The living exemplar of the archetype of the healer who carries a wound is the cross-carrying Christ himself. Artist Vincent Van Gogh regarded Christ as an extraordinary artist who didn’t make paintings, but rather, worked in living flesh to turn human beings into immortal souls. Similarly, visionary artist William Blake wrote that, “Jesus and his Apostles and Disciples were all Artists - A Poet, a Painter, a Musician, an Architect: The Man or Woman who is not one of these is not a Christian.”[xi] If we are not, in some fashion, an artist in and of life – offering ourselves as a channel of creative expression for the spirit that in-forms, moves us and sustains our life – we are not, as Blake points out, a genuine follower of Christ. As artists, we are continually re-creating both our world and ourselves anew at each and every
y Jan Kasparec instant. Anyone who is not an artist ─ which is to say, not following their deeper calling and creatively speaking their inner voice ─ is, ultimately speaking, a traitor to their own true nature. Making art is a spiritual discipline that requires incredible devotion. As author D. H. Lawrence writes, “One has to be so terribly religious to be an artist.”[xii] The artist casts a liberating fragrance, spelling out what is hanging in the air. When a group of people abdicate their individual responsibility to be creative, a great artist like Vincent Van Gogh becomes inevitable as a compensation for this one-sidedness. Art is the compensatory dream of the collective culture, a means by which the collective unconscious informs collective society. Art should not be viewed as an isolated phenomenon separate from the field of consciousness in which it arises; rather, artists and their work emerge from a synergy of interweaving socio-cultural factors.
Artists are dreamed up by the spirit of time and place. Jung comments, “The great work of art is a product of the time, of the whole world in which the artist is living, and of the millions of people who surround him, and of the thousands of currents of thought and the myriad streams of activity which flow around him.”[xiii] Art speaks for the unconscious as the plant speaks of nature and the earth. Artists are the nutrient rich soil, the breeding ground for the work of art; they are the petri dish for the “culture” of art to flourish. Jung writes, “A great work of art is like a dream…It presents an image in much the same way as nature allows a plant to grow.”[xiv] We can conceive of the creative instinct as a living impulse implanted in the human psyche, growing in us like a plant which draws its nourishment from the earth. The unborn work in the psyche of the artist is a force of nature, a living being that arises from unconscious depths and grows out of the womb of the artist as a child emerges Page 13
from its mother. Once born, the artist’s work takes on an autonomous, independent life of its own, outgrowing and outliving its creator as a child does its mother. Even when the highest form of artistic reality has achieved existence in a fully completed work, it must be creatively reborn in the subjective human experience of those who engage with it. A mysterious inter-change, a reciprocal transmission passes back and forth between the work of art and those who experience it. The epiphany of the numinosum, the ecstasy of those who give it form through the creation of the work of art, and the rapture of those who participate, experience and celebrate the epiphany, constitute an indivisible unity. A work of art, like a living creature, undergoes the changes that daily life imposes upon us, only living through those who experience it. Art works its magic through its living effect upon us, becoming alive and creative again and again in our own experience. To quote poet Allen Ginsberg, “The warfare’s psychic now. Whoever controls the language, the images, controls the race.”[xv] Reversing one of the most fundamental assumptions of modern civilization by giving pre-eminence to art, Blake writes, “Empire follows Art and not Vise Versa as Englishmen Suppose.”[xvi] In the same way that instruments of war in the hands of generals are extremely dangerous, nothing is more dangerous and potentially world-transforming than implements of creative expression in the hands of artists, who are the moulders of the unconscious psychic life of humanity, the mythmakers for their age. Rather than passively letting our perceptions be managed and manipulated by the powers-that-be’s propaganda organs (such as the mainstream media), we as sovereign creative beings, can connect with our own perceptions and create our own unique and authentic experience of the world. We change ourselves, and the world, in the process. The same divine creativity which has filled the numberless heavens and spheres of the universe around us is now welling up and emerging within the human psyche and is seeking to creatively express and extend itself outwards into our world. Our many world crises will be soluble only creatively – that is, by a profound and thorough alteration of our inner life and thereby of the outer forms in which life finds expression. When human beings are deprived of their power of expression, however, they will express themselves in the drive for power, which only feeds the will-to-power of the demonic and destructive shadow, with the baneful consequences we know only too well. One of the gravest perils of western civilization arises from the fact that it cuts its members off from their natural creativity. To quote Blake, “Art Degraded Imagination Denied War Governed the Nations.”[xvii] When I reflect upon my life, it is clear that I, like so many of us, was being “called” by a deeper part of myself to step out of a traditional, mainstream vocation into my life as a creative person. If I hadn’t been fortunate enough to connect with the creative spirit, choosing the artist’s sacred way and breathing its life-giving oxygen, I have no doubt that I’d be depressed, neurotic, crazy and/or dead. The conflict between my father and I was not only between two individuals, but between two world views. In one genuinely inquisitive moment which revealed his lack of understanding, my father asked me why people still make paintings after the invention of the camera. He mistakenly thought that the purpose of art was to describe reality instead of to create it, to capture our world instead of to liberate it. – “The inner light is sentient, intrinsically endowed with a primordial cognizant awareness enabling it to experience its own radiant, luminescent nature. It is as if the primordial, uncreated light, a light which empowers our ability to see and creates the very act of seeing itself, creates an eye in order to be seen; the eye, being solar (i.e., light-based) in nature, owes its existence to light. The creative and immaterial aspect of light has called forth and precipitated out of itself, in fully materialized form, an organ like unto itself so as to reveal itself, be seen and known.” In a similar vein, the formless work of art dreams up an artist so as to realize itself in form. There are wild places calling out to your heart. It’s a call to adventure. It’s a hero’s journey. By GARY Z MCGEE themindunleashed.com
L
IFE IS TOO SHORT not to feel your deepest darkest wildness howling inside you. I implore you: don’t just become another domesticated dog. “Your goodness must have some edge to it—else it is none.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
1) Put less energy into fixing breaks and more energy into breaking fixes. “There is no riskier risk than refusing to risk at all.” ~Jen Sincero This one’s tricky. I’m not saying don’t heal. I’m not saying don’t lick your wounds. I’m saying make it priority two or three, not one. Otherwise, you’ll end up losing yourself in a tiny comfort zone. The only way your comfort zone gets bigger is by taking risks. Breaking your fixes is calculated risk taking. Whether your fix is an addiction, an outdated belief, a cultural conditioning, or a political/religious indoctrination, when you focus more on breaking fixes, you are being proactive about getting the horse of your life in front of the cart of your unreasonable (and often unfounded) expectations. Look at it like a cycle of health and selfimprovement. Break your fix, let the risky adventure break you (hero’s journey), fix your breaks, then get back to breaking your fixes. In order to achieve wise and holistic interdependence (cosmic heroism) you’ll need courageous and risky independence (personal heroism) to break yourself away from the comfortable but stagnant codependence (fear).
2) Embarrass yourself as quickly as possible “Passion is the result of action, not the cause of it.” ~Mark Manson Before you can get better at something you have to suck at it first. Forget about talent. Forget about luck. Talent and luck pale in comparison to perseverance. Sure, they might help you get better faster, but they are out of your hands. So it’s better not to even waste your energy on them in the first place. Focus on what you can control, and that’s self-improvement. Self-improvement takes practice. And practice means action. It might even mean looking like a fool. So be it. Embarrass yourself. Make mistakes as soon as you can. Free yourself to write, paint, produce, sculpt or play the worst thing ever created. Don’t fear failure. Embrace it. Own it. Learn from it. Then recreate from the vital knowledge gleaned from your plethora of mistakes. If you avoid failure, embarrassment and fear, then you will never create anything meaningful. So go all in. Fail fast. Embarrass yourself as quickly as possible. Make glorious mistakes. Samuel Beckett said it best: “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.”
3) Use philosophy as a chisel for the hardened beliefs within you “Philosophical thinking that doesn’t do violence to one’s settled mind is no philosophical thinking at all.” ~Rebecca Goldstein Philosophy helps you discover that everything is connected despite what you’ve been taught. Questioning what you think you know Page 14
8 Pieces of ‘Bad’ Life Advice That Are Actually Good diminishes the broadcast of the codependent ego so that you can tune into the broadcast of the interdependent whole. If wisdom is what you’re seeking, then the interdependent whole is a good place to start. If your goal is to get out of the rat race, to transcend the stagnant status quo and to overcome the default setting, then questioning what you’ve been taught is a good first step. Rather than importing wholesale whatever framework for life the codependent status quo programmed and conditioned you to accept, use philosophy (the art of questioning all things) to discover how everything is connected to everything else. Using philosophy as a chisel is selfactualizing. It deconstructs meaning. It interrogates worldviews. It is proactively selfimproving. It teaches you how to be relentless in your questioning, how to be ruthless in your circumspection, and how to self-overcome so as not to be overwhelmed by the tribe. More importantly, it will help you discover your most authentic self by providing a flexible yet fierce way of being and becoming human in the world.
4) You’ll reap no evolution if you don’t sow a little revolution “The revolution begins at home. If you overthrow yourself again and again, you might earn the right to help overthrow the rest of us.” ~Rob Brezsny Humans may not agree on much. But one thing most of us can agree on is that we all hope for a healthy and progressive evolution for our species. The problem is that most of us live in profoundly sick societies. Societies that pollute the air they need to breathe, the water they need to drink, the food they need to eat, and the minds they need to co-evolve with. Any system that forces its people to breathe polluted air, drink polluted water, eat polluted food and then reinforces its people (whether through brainwashing, political propaganda, or cultural conditioning) to continue doing all the things that causes that pollution is a profoundly sick society. As Krishnamurti wisely put it, “It’s no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” So what can you do about it? For starters, educate yourself. Honor the golden rule, the nonaggression principle, and the 7th generation principle. In the face of a profoundly sick society this might mean
sowing a little revolution. Next, if you’re really feeling courageous, dare yourself to become David against the Goliath of the state. Become Heracles against the Hydra of the war machine. Become a well-armed lamb contesting all votes. Become lionhearted despite all cowards. But before any of that, you must check yourself. You must become free. Becoming free is the most revolutionary act you can take. You must be free in order to gain the courage necessary to create the kind of change that leads to a healthy and progressive evolution for our species.
5) Your “love and light” could use a little tough love and darkness “These mountains that you’re carrying, you were only supposed to climb.” ~Najwa Zebian Happiness is overrated. “Good vibes only” is just plain lazy. Get out from underneath the burden of needing to be happy all the time. That’s too much weight to be carrying around. Take it easy on yourself. Forcing yourself to be positive and happy all the time is just an ego trap set up by the scared-shitless part of you that doesn’t want to face the shitty parts of life. That’s blatant repression. Stop demonizing sadness. You cannot be happy all the time. Happiness, like sadness, is a passing storm across the sky of the Self. Some storms are refreshing and invigorating, like happiness. Some are painful and rough, like sadness. Both can be overwhelming. But both are merely information. They just happen to be information that you “feel.” As far as information goes, pain and sadness will teach you more than comfort and happiness ever could. Use that information to make yourself healthier. Use it to create meaning. Happiness will become a convenient bi-product of your selfimprovement. The best you can do is hope for the best and be prepared for the worst. And nothing prepares you for the worst better than the vital information gleaned from pain and sadness.
6) Don’t allow your life to become overly domesticated: “Society tames the wolf into a dog. And man is the most domesticated animal of them all.” ~Nietzsche Get away from the zoo-mentality, the menagerie of madness. Let your mind out of its steel cage. Crucify any routine that kills your dreams. Nail it to a cross and fill
your winecup with its blood. Play more. Dare more. Adventure more. Trust more. Love more. Domesticate less! Problems arise from excess. Excessive culture. Excessive domestication. Excessive control. Excessive tidiness. Excessive pacification. When anything becomes excessive it smothers wildness. It smothers freedom. It smothers the soul. Learn to be nourished by solitude rather than defeated by it. The wild is the greatest teacher in the world. Meditation in solitude is a sacred strategy that helps bring balance between nature and the human soul. Let the interconnected cosmos teach you the difference between healthy and unhealthy through a “language older than words (Derrick Jensen).” So get out there. Get off your overlydomesticated ass. There’s nothing stopping you, but you. There’s an entire world to explore. There are wild places calling out to your heart. It’s a call to adventure. It’s a hero’s journey. Life is too short not to feel your deepest darkest wildness howling inside you. I implore you: don’t just become another domesticated dog. Discover the wolf hidden inside you. As Nietzsche profoundly stated, “Truth as Circe. Error has turned animals into men; might truth be capable of turning man into an animal again?”
7) Kill your old self and bury the body in the back yard “Unless you are constantly practicing it, this dying and being reborn, you are only a guest on this dark planet earth.” ~Goethe The art of healthy ego-annihilation: question thyself, destroy thyself, rebirth thyself. Why is all this killing and rebirthing necessary for self-improvement (or spiritual development)? You kill your codependent self so that your independent self can emerge with the courage to become an interdependent force of nature. In other words: your ability to adapt and overcome is directly proportional to your ability to self-overcome. Sometimes the only way to discover that the “door to your jailcell has always been open” is to lose the mindset that conditioned you into thinking that you were trapped. The trapped mindset is also the fear-based mindset. It’s the indoctrinated mindset. In short: it’s your codependent self. Kill it, as soon as possible. Learn from it. Then “bury” it in your muscle memory (back yard). Learn to do this again and again and it becomes a healthy cycle of self-overcoming that can lead to profound self-improvement and deep enlightenment. With enough practice, this questioning yourself, destroying yourself and rebirthing yourself will come as easily as your body sheds its skin.
8) Love dangerously “Healthy, strong individuals seek selfexpansion by experimenting and by living dangerously. The good life is ever changing, challenging, devoid of regret, intense, creative and risky.” ~Friedrich Nietzsche What is loving dangerously? Loving dangerously is loving without hope. It’s loving courageously, vulnerably, honestly. Which is likely to hurt. Therefore, loving

Illusion: ɪˈluːʒ(ə)n/, noun, an instance of a wrong or misinterpreted perception of a sensory experience. a deceptive appearance or impression. a false idea or belief. “We live in a society in which spurious realities are manufactured by the media, by governments, by big corporations, by religious groups, political groups. I ask, in my writing, ‘What is real?’ Because unceasingly we are bombarded with pseudo realities manufactured by very sophisticated people using very sophisticated electronic mechanisms.” ~Philip K. Dick
O
N THE FACE of it, life is unruly – it is too complex, too dirty, too full of uncertainties and unknowns that would only disturb the masses. People, after all, need to be comforted. That’s why another reality is conjured up that is manufactured by the media. Philip K. Dick asks what is real as we are under the bombardment and assault of pseudo realities. We may ask ourselves the same question, what is real? Perhaps our perfect crime has been to hide the real so well that our modern societies have ventured beyond the illusion of reality itself. The perfect crime is the perfect cover up. The power to make better choices comes from the power to have information. Information has been the life-blood of our societies and cultures and has been guarded tenaciously throughout the centuries. Whether sacred ‘divine’ knowledge or information on how to improve one’s life in general; they have all been guarded by various institutions throughout our history. From priest kings to shamans; from religious figures to scientists; from life-coaches to gurus; and from governments to mainstream media – information has always come at a price, if it has come at all. Information was something traditionally given to people in a controlled manner. The masses were provided information generally in-keeping with their level of intelligence as well as their need to know. And traditionally, both these factors were notoriously kept low. Anthropologists tend to agree that homo sapiens has conquered the globe due to its flexible ability to cooperate on a mass scale and with strangers. And historians add to this by saying that human societies have proved so successful because they are able to socially organize themselves and survive as long as order is maintained. That is, the unified elites have always been able to dominate the disorderly masses. The masses remain disorganized if they lack sufficient access to credible information. And that is where the cult of information and the spectacle of entertainment enter into the picture. Modern life has become inundated with information, and it has spilled over into the hands of the masses. The age of illiterate masses listening to their local church sermons to receive the word of divine guidance is long gone. The Gutenberg Press managed to signal the end to the monopoly on scribes. Books began to bring new and inspiring information to the masses whom were quickly learning to read. And then something enormously powerful happened at the end of the 20th century – the communication channels were multiplied, and people began to talk back, in droves. People were no longer only receivers of information as in the past; they could now produce the information themselves and share it with a potential audience of millions around the globe. The planetary talking box
Page 15
The Management of Perception
was opened, and people were finding they had voices. And that is when propaganda stepped up a notch to become even more of a hardcore science and governmental tool. In our not so distant past, if you wanted to seize political power in a country then normally your first step would be to control the army and the police; that is, the institutions of brute force. Today though it is only in the less ‘democratic’ countries where dictatorships still use such overt force when trying a coup d’état. The real war is the war of minds. The day after the fall of Khrushchev in the former Soviet Union the editors of Pravda, Izvestiia, and the heads of the radio and television were replaced but the army wasn’t called out. More recently, after the failed coup attempt in Turkey, in July 2016, the incumbent government came down heavy on what it considered to be the country’s alternative media. In the immediate aftermath, 148 journalists and media workers were jailed, and 169 media and publishing outlets were closed down under the state of emergency.[i] And that was just the beginning. In any society it is important who controls the news information, and how it is dispersed. Yet since we now live in an ‘Internet Age’ of global communication and information networks, it is increasingly harder by the day to keep a tight control on things. In a sense, Pandora’s Box has already opened. And if there is so much information out there then how do you maintain order? The best answer is – provide more of it. Provide so much information that people are drowning in it. And then add some more to discredit what is already out there. People are then not only swimming in information but begin to drown in it. And the rest – well, that’s entertainment!
The Illusion of Truth
A spectral illusion is created through our mainstream media and news in order to offer a simplified vision of the world to us. It is Us vs. Them; Good vs. Bad; Developed vs. Undeveloped; Legal vs. Illegal; and all the rest of these bland dichotomies that are brandished as deep truths. We have an ‘official culture’ that functions as the ether. We are immersed in it even if we are not aware, as fish in the sea do not always debate the water. This official culture creates the signs and symbols that affectively dictates our slice of reality: money, credit, status, intellect, policy, major sports, lesser sports, celebrities, good film, bad film, popular book, ignored book, love, sexy, seduction, disappointment, etc., etc. We buy into all these terms so deeply that it is no surprise to learn that we are a cultural species in therapy. We have been brought up and ‘educated’ to protect ourselves with the illusion of truth. Everything withdraws
behind its own appearance, so that things appear to take place even when they do not. This is the great absence in our lives – excuses riddled with illusion, hiding through false appearance. We are left to decipher the world, to try and pull back the illusionary curtains. The crime of life is its incompleteness – a living absence that gnaws at us. We drift between second-hand news as ghosts drift between walls. If everyone believes in a lie, it doesn’t stop it from being a lie, or make it into a truth. The illusion is often what many people want to hear, rather than the brutalities, or mundane reality, of life. It is as if we prefer bland information and filtered news, or celebrity gossip, as a complement to one’s own sense of restricted reality. Most modern societies thrive by the cultivation of illusion. In the end, such cultures of illusion may succeed in robbing the masses of their perceptual abilities to separate illusion from truth. As journalist Chris Hedges notes – ‘not since the Soviet and fascist dictatorships, and perhaps the brutal authoritarian control of the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages, has the content of information been as skillfully and ruthlessly controlled and manipulated.’1 Our so-called developed societies manufacture and peddle their illusion of reality as much as they can. And any denouncement or doubt upon this illusion is immediately met by a systemic defense that labels the critics as conspiracy theorists, anarchists, or anti-social. In other words, those who question the cultural narrative (a.k.a. illusion) are branded as deluded. Reality, it seems, is that which the majority believe. It has been said that when a culture, and its people, become unmoored from reality then they retreat into a world of fantasy. And then this fantasy mode can invert meanings, truths, and all sense of what is going on. Such collective illusions – or ‘bubble realities’- can feed the populace on trigger words and phrases like war on terror or yes, we can, or make us great again, and within these narrow hypnotic parameters all critical thought, ambiguity, and conscious observation vanish. And when the people can no longer distinguish between what is truth and what is fiction (make-believe), then reality gets usurped and the fantasy world takes over. An epidemic of information can just as easily turn into a pandemic of misinformation. In many ways it already has. Information has always been used as a tool of psychological warfare as it forms a part of state-sponsored operations that serve as a new back door into peoples’ minds. Once false information is planted inside of our minds then it becomes harder to be
objective or to make clear distinctions. Such information can then easily be hash-tagged, trended, and go viral. Going viral is now a common word, used to denote things, both positive and negative, that have gained rapid, and often unexpected, popularity. The word viral used to signify the behavior of a virus; that is, a small, infectious agent. The analogy is an apt one – agents of infection are now constantly roaming our information networks and entering into our minds. Information we receive is likely to be infected with a ‘viral agent’ just like coughing can and does spread the common cold. And one of the largest spreaders of ‘thought viruses’ today is social media. The social media, with customized targeting of news and adverts, is increasingly reinforcing the opinions, viewpoints, and beliefs we have already chosen to accept rather than presenting us with challenging new ones. We end up reinforcing our own bubbles of perception instead of expanding them. The criteria and legitimacy of truth has been substituted by the promotion of incredulous untruths throughout our media systems. We now have a serious credibility issue with our major social institutions – media, politics, education, and finance. The mainstream media now represents the triumphant illusionism; the ambiguity of the spectacle that deceives and anaesthetizes the imagination. The gradual, uniform bombardment of information has succeeded in leveling out difference and now much of the content comes across as being almost the same. Diversity is just a superficial sleight-of-hand distraction. It doesn’t really matter which mainstream news channel a person tunes into; they are all getting their information from a very limited selection of sources. Information is dispersed from a very tightly centralized sphere of power.
Media Centralization
These days most western media organizations are owned by only a handful of giant conglomerates, such as Comcast; Disney; Time Warner; News Corp; Viacom; Vivendi Universal; and Bertelsmann. Over the years they have continued to absorb rival companies – called mergers – that expand their broadcasting reach. For example, the average person is not very likely to have heard of Charter Communications. Are they famous? Are they big? They are the secondlargest cable operator in the United States, just behind Comcast, and the third largest Pay-TV operator. In 2015 Charter bought out Time-Warner Cable in a deal valued at 78.7 billion dollars. Now that’s big. After the corporations, perhaps the next biggest information sources are the journalistic press companies, such as Associated Press and Reuters News. Are they objective? In the US especially, television journalism has become a masquerade. Much of our news is personalized tidbits, intimate stories of stars, politicians, and the celebrity elite that are passed off as news in order to distract us. Such crass journalism seeks out not stories of depth or worth but a fantasy play of personalities. And the more ‘larger-than-life’ the stories then the more chance they have of success and of being taken into people’s hearts. Stories that reflect these ‘celebrity’ personalities get media attention, especially when saturated in gossip, relationships, or domestic struggles. Personalities are less adored when they go marching against fracking practices or oil pipeline proposals. Somehow it just doesn’t feel right that a beautiful star from a movie franchise should be protesting in a jumpsuit and sneakers in the rain. The two images just
Please see ILLUSION, page 16
Illusion From page 15 don’t go together well in people’s heads. Information itself has now become its own form of stagecraft. And most of the news in today’s modern world is boobytrapped.
Newsflash: News is Fake
Today’s information and news is more about perception management than it is about educating the people. Influencing minds is more favorable, and more lucrative, than informing them. The end result is both more guaranteed and more controlled. Open information has always been a dangerous thing, as religious and social institutions have long known. Controlled information seeks to create contrived headlines, censored and cut images, and sanitized news. And as consumers of such news, we are accepting and buying into an encroaching unrealism. It is a world of substitution that subverts the mind. It is often easier to confuse and misinform than it is to inculcate opinion. Today we are faced with a new type of news. We have entered a mirror hall of journalism where fake news and alternative facts are further obscuring the veneer of truth by tampering with the already fragile and fragmented sense of reality. The malady of the unreal is spreading like a pandemic. Fake is the new ‘new’! In the last couple of years, the meme of ‘alternative facts’ has been gaining ground, especially in political talk. It is a convenient way of brushing off inconvenient news as well as appearing to discredit the source of the information. Not only that, it is also a deliberate way to add confusion to the issue. Once people begin to question the validity of reported news and the ‘facts of the truth’ then no one can be sure again of what is real or not. This appeared to be a political tactic during the 2016 US presidential campaign, especially on the part of the Republican nominee Donald Trump (who subsequently became president). Not only did Trump like to refer to inconvenient news as ‘alternative facts’ but he also cultivated a habit (whether consciously or not) of contradicting himself and being inconsistent in his policies. In the end, it proved confusing for journalists to pin him down, and social media was rife with a flood of contradictory statements,
opinions, and criticism. Nobody really knew what Trump stood for, either politically or personally; and in the end not only did it not seem to matter to many, but the uncertainty and confusion most likely worked in his favor. In a similar manner, it was noted by astute commentators that the Putin government in Russia also plays the ‘uncertainty card’ by playing all sides of the political game. In his documentary Hypernormalization, Adam Curtis points out that the Putin regime backed and supported many of their political opponents and critical factions, unbeknownst to the factions themselves, and then exposed this tactic publicly. The result was that credibility in the political domain was eroded and in its wake was left uncertainty and confusion. The role of ‘truth’ was no longer viable. It is hard for anyone to discern what is real and what is credible information when the playing field is deliberately manipulated with misinformation. A similar strategy has been used by governmental spy agencies the world over. In fact, it would be fair to say that a great deal of mainstream information currently in circulation is misinformation. That is, it has been tampered, doctored, censored, or falsified. Perhaps the only real ‘truth’ is that which comes through personal experience. The rest is a fabrication of the world. The recent much-publicized phenomenon of ‘fake news’ is not something new, only that once upon a time it was under controlled dispersion and called mainstream news. Nowadays, that which is classed as knowledge is more often data-information that has been agreed upon for general dissemination. We find in our daily news that extracts from an upcoming political
speech have been ‘leaked’ to the press. Why is it that the press seems to know what’s upcoming in almost all of the political speeches? It’s obvious to any halfserious observer that political offices pass on parts of their upcoming speeches deliberately to test the waters with their content and to prepare the public of what is to come. Leaky channels are just another name for information channels these days. These all-too-often instances of leaks, or ‘legitimate’ news dissemination, are nothing when compared to the state-sponsored infiltrations from government agencies. The so-called ‘Russiagate’ scandal is just another mix of hypocrisy and misinformation. It shows a shameless level of hypocrisy in that it is well-known, and documented, that countries such as the US and China have a horde of cyber-technicians infiltrating online forums, chat sites, web gatherings, blogs, etc., and deliberately seeding and spreading a range of calculated (mis)information. This information may be pro-government propaganda, deliberate misinformation, alternative ‘facts,’ or downright post-truth irregularities aimed at confusing the infosphere. The information highways are an open playing field where many actors, agencies, and agendas are vying for presence, infiltration, and dominance. The game is now on in the digital realms – and it’s all about the management of perception. It’s hard to judge just exactly who is saying what, or why.
Who is saying what?
It is going to be increasingly likely that the news you read online or from your favorite newspaper will not have been written by whom you thought it was. Take a look at this example: “Thomas Keehn didn’t allow a single run as Stags defeated Good Counsel 1-0 on Wednesday. Keehn allowed just two hits and induced a fly out from Walker to end the game. The pitching was strong on both sides. Thomas Keehn struck out nine, while Orie sat down three.

be deeply aware of the selfdamage in any action, and then refuse to injure yourself any more.”
SECRETS OF LIFE
“Mere belief is depressing, for believing that one has the answers does not satisfy the need for actually possessing answers.”
Stags captured the lead in the second inning. A single by Grass in the second inning was a positive for Good Counsel. Keehn earned the win for Stags. He went seven innings, giving up zero runs, two hits, and striking out nine. Orie took the loss for Good Counsel. He tossed six innings, giving up one run, three hits, and striking out three. Timmy Pyne went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Stags in hits.[ii]” Maybe not the most prosaic of pieces; and it certainly will not win any literary prizes. Yet I doubt that the author will care, for it is neither a he nor a she – it is an algorithm. It was written by a powerful artificial intelligence engine, named ‘Quill,’ that was created by Narrative Science, Inc; a company set up to produce automated articles in a variety of areas, including sports, business, and politics. This intelligence software can generate a news story approximately every thirty seconds. Many of their automated articles are already published and used by widely known and respected websites that prefer not to disclose this fact. A quick way to find articles produced by ‘Quill’ is to do a search using the following words – ‘Powered by Narrative Science and GameChanger Media’ – as I just did to find the above extract. The idea that people write all the news stories is just another illusion. At a 2011 industry conference the co-founder of Narrative Science, Kristian Hammond, predicted that the number of news articles that would be written by algorithms within fifteen years would be over ninety percent.2 On their homepage website Narrative Science boldly claim that: “Narrative Science is humanizing data like never before, with technology that interprets your data, then transforms it into Intelligent Narratives at unprecedented speed and scale. With Narrative Science, your data becomes actionable—a powerful asset you can use to make better decisions, improve interactions with customers and empower your employees.” [iii] So, our data information is being humanized ‘like never before’ by taking out the human element – how’s that? Well, it’s just another illusion – a great sleight-of-hand and the deft art of perception management.

“Loneliness is an impostor which makes you feel far apart from life but you can see beyond it to happily find yourself approaching home.” “If you place the wish for relief before the wish for understanding, you will have neither genuine relief nor understanding. But if you set the desire for understanding before the wish for relief, you will have both true relief and understanding.”

“Life is a matter of choices, and every choice you make makes you.” – John C. Maxwell “Sometimes it’s the smallest decisions that can change your life forever.” – Keri Russell
‘C
HOICE IS THE most powerful tool we have. Everything boils down to choice. We exist in a field of infinite possibilities. Every choice we make shuts an infinite number of doors and opens an infinite number of doors. At any point we can change the direction of our lives by a simple choice. It is all in our hands, our minds, and our minds.” Life, as a journey is a notion that has always been incredibly fascinating to me for myriad reasons. Each of us as individuals is not only the main protagonist in our own story, but we are taking unique path towards whatever destination we are headed towards. Those destinations will be laden with curious circumstances, and these circumstances can become the foundation for our each and every step, or they can serve to steer us from our current path. Yet, our bearing is always our bearing – as individuals. Where you go is your choice and only yours. The totality of your life when it’s all said and done will be a confluence of all the choices you make. These choices will reverberate in countless ways, with countless people and spawn countless circumstances. The aggregate of all of this will ultimately dictate what your story will become. Life is an interesting journey, for you never know what obstacles you will face and overcome, what other individuals you will meet on your journey, and where your road will ultimately lead. The roads are many, and the choices more so. On this journey, as individuals, we are all headed somewhere. But where? Each of our paths is so wonderful, that nobody else in the breadth and scope of history will take the same path. Read that again. That’s a very intriguing proposition, for it means all of us take a path that’s so unique, that nobody could ever mirror it. Could individuals take the same steps we take, or that others have taken? Surely. But that will never be a one-to-one
Illusion From page 16 Yet whilst it’s hard to totally agree with the above prediction that in the near future over ninety percent of our news will be written by algorithms, it does show how those in the industry perceive our ever-decreasing human future. My own sense is that with the continued rise of social media there will be a healthy civil journalism from the people on the ground. There is also likely to be an increase in alternative news gathering and dissemination. Yet it does beg the question of whether we will be able to discern the difference between human-generated news and an algorithm. How would you know that something you read online was written by an algorithm or not? And this takes us to the issue of trust, which is likely to be a growing area of concern in the years ahead. As the illusion of our information intensifies, the notion of trusted networks and trusted sources will become paramount. And trust is a matter of discernment. During these years we will need to strengthen our senses of discernment. To Page 17

correlation to ever single step you take, every single choice you choose. If you’re going to pave a path nobody has ever paved, and it was your ultimate path, what would it be? Where would you go? What would you do? What will you accomplish? Have you thought about it? It’s something to ponder deeply. In life, no path is linear, but choices all connect. Every circumstance, every choice, every moment, every breath, is a dot. The displacement of these dots upon the canvas of life connect to paint an incredible picture, the picture you make with your own life. This picture is the very manifestation of your consciousness, of your being, of everything you have ever been, are, and will be. These dots, these moments, all couple with each other because life is seamless, and in that seamlessness is where we can get caught up in the moments. Something else that operates seamlessly is water. Water is always operating like a gong, holding full potential in its totality. The same way one strike upon a gong will make it reverberate throughout, one drop of water will reverberate throughout a pond for instance, and affect it greatly. Your life as an individual is no different. One choice
have discernment means that we have an active critical faculty – and that means being alert. Alert to the sources of our news, opinions, and cultural reporting. And especially alert to what is being told (or fed) to us through our leaky political channels. We need to be alert and observe how the information is being played out through our mainstream institutional channels. Most of the news and information that will be on ‘public display’ in these years will be directed at an emotional level. And much of this too will be a pendulum swing between trite entertainment and emotional fear. The saturated world of information in which we now live can be a rich source for us or it can be a distracting circus. It is our responsibility to decide which one we wish to make it. We need to really see what’s going on, and to see through the show. We have to take out the trash before it has a chance to enter into our minds. Working on being the grounded observer is subtler than we may ever suspect. And in our increasingly carnivalesque cultures it is ever more needed, and a counterbalance to the sparkling spectacles that beguile us. The spectacle, I suspect, is about to get a lot more expressive. Extract from the book Bardo Times:
has the power to change not only your life but that of others. That’s incredible power, something that’s not oft-ruminated upon. In that sense, your choices become waves – a manifestation of an instance that travels to its destination. And just like waves will ultimately travel to a destination, your choices will ultimately travel to an endpoint, wherever that will be. One thing waves teach us is that, if we don’t keep our balance, we will get swept by them. As someone who almost drowned twice, I was taught not to fear the waves, but become one with them. Swimming wasn’t the problem, it was the fear of drowning. We as individuals need to be cognizant that waves will do what they always do, and as such, we individuals need to respond in kind: do what we can do. Knowing that there are options when one is caught in such a dilemma: I had choices to make if ever the moment came where I was being swept by a riptide, and came they did after the first instance. When I responded to these circumstances in fear, I was swept in pure terror, and let’s call it sheer luck the why I ultimately made it. When I realized that when that circumstance happens, being swept by the waves, if you

don’t give into fear, then you have total control and you can adjust accordingly, like water. Water always adjusts according to nature, according to the circumstances. Water can even transform into something else under the right circumstances. Individuals are no different. Individuals can – and do – transform at certain times in life. But those transformations usually seem to happen under the most extreme pressures – just like diamonds are created. Or, as in my case, possibly drowning. When the riptide has its name woven in water and it comes after you, you can’t give into fears because it’ll be fear that ultimately sweeps over you. This has born itself out in my life countless times, not just in the possibility of drowning. It’s become known to me that when my choices are based out of fear, many of my worst circumstances I could ever imagine took place, including those possible drowning incidents. But if I responded with balance, full control of all my being, I realized that things that seemed like obstacles were merely speedbumps, and thing that were real obstacles were easier to either overcome or sidestep. Why does this matter? Because on our journey, we will face myriad obstacles. Some obstacles are problematic, and some just seem so. As someone who used to be afraid of dark (actually, if we are to be 100% accurate, I was terrified of it. Yes, don’t laugh, it’s the truth) I used to hate sleeping in the dark. If any of you know me or have read some of my writing though, I write about darkness a lot and have for well over twenty years. How could I write about darkness so much if I hated darkness with the totality of my being? Because the darkness itself does nothing. My perception of it was what brought about fear and dis-ease within me. I’m not saying that evil doesn’t exist, please don’t misunderstand me. I’m just talking about how our minds – my mind in this particular example – can be afraid of things that are merely shadows, and how those things can really take its toll on us at times. At least that has been the case within my life. Realizing the disparity between the truth and perception, I became empowered

ECENTLY, WE HAD an interesting discussion on the Piercing the Veil of Reality forum about the interrelationship between black magic, psychic attacks, entity interferences, and shadow projections. These issues are even more prevalent than most people are aware of (especially on social media.) I have noticed that when I receive negative thought projections from others (not verbally but through their own thoughts, creating psychic impressions) these negative shadow/thought projections can act exactly like an intentional black magic occult attack—especially when the person is emotionally charged due to their own trigger. Their own unresolved emotional content acts as the “ammunition” behind this trigger, which they then direct towards the person who triggered them. It’s like he/she becomes a portal for occult forces/entities who augment and exaggerate their projections by tapping into their unconscious wounds and unresolved traumas, and, as vectors of attack, they target the person who touched these wounds. It can “take you down” and weaken you—if you let these thought projections come in and you accept their suggestions. These thought projections will often manifest as an overall feeling of your energy being “drained”: like feeling out of it, tired, irritated, angry (for no apparent reason), or in constant self-diminishing thought loops. Sometimes, I can intuitively sense when a person is engaging in these occult thought projections (manifesting as psychic attacks), sensing that something I said or wrote triggered them—even if they don’t verbally express this or hide behind a pretentious mask of “niceness” (which most often results in passive aggressiveness). But it’s necessary to have the stillness of mind so that you can be in a state of intuitive psychic sensitivity, embodiment, and calmness, so you don’t fall into the trap of paranoia or get caught up in your own projections about “what other people think” as well. These thought projections manifesting as psychic attacks will often become more intense if it’s a group of people maliciously engaging in harmful speech, via hating on someone and/ or gossiping about them behind their back. Gossip is delicious food for occult entities who feed off that lower frequency, so it’s important we check ourselves when
Black Magic, Psychic Attacks, Entity Interferences & Shadow Projections we tend to gossip, as this act often poisons our own tongue and impacts our state of being more than the object of our projections. Behind this part of us which likes to “talk shit” about others behind their back is often the wounded self—which constantly compares itself to others and never feels “good enough” by comparison—thus it talks down about other people to maintain the ego’s mask of self-importance. This is why celebrities, gossip mags, etc., are a favorite hobby for the general matrix population. By projecting hatred “out there,” they never have to face their own self-hatred/insecurities. When you receive negative shadow projections from others (either psychically via thoughts or verbally) it’s important NOT to become reactive and respond with counterattack and negative projections towards them, engage in counter gossip, or treat/speak about the person with contempt, for this is like giving permission for the attack by entering “their game”/frequency. Since the predator/ wetiko works through their own mind, it can also infect yours through accepting their projections like a trap of agreement (and engaging with them). Since you respond with your own negative projections (either
psychically via your thoughts or in-person), you start fighting fire with fire, and you will have to deal with the “karmic consequences” of your thought projections as well. “It is not every case of psychic disturbance, however, which originates externally. It is a well-known cosmic law that everything moves in circles, and whatever forces we send out, and whatever thought-forms we extrude from our auras, unless absorbed by the object to which they are directed, will return to us in due course. One of the most effective, and also one of the most widely practiced methods of occult defense is to refuse to react to an attack, neither accepting nor neutralizing the forces projected against one and thus turning them back on their sender. We must never overlook the fact that a so-called occult attack may be evil thought-forms returning home to roost.” – Dion Fortune, Psychic Self-Defense If you start engaging in this dance of shadow projection, you also open yourself up to more occult attacks and attract the hostile forces who “smell the delicious meal” of your emotionally charged projections based on your own unresolved emotional
Help Yourself Headlines
content/“ammunition.” They will feed these projections more and more through their own influences to get more of that “loosh.” This is really the basis of matrix Divide & Conquer agenda pitting humans against other others humans. It’s a collective shadow projection/ trigger loosh fest with billions of people acting and reacting unconsciously while their strings are being pulled by the occult hostile forces. On that note, there’s lots of “karmic debt” for all the Trump haters out there or anyone projecting their anger/hate/disgust/ contempt on any person, feeding the fake political left/right paradigm based on the trap of identification (left vs. right, vegans vs. carnivores, Muslims vs. Christians, anarchists vs. statists, etc..) It all has to come back around at some point to them (this lifetime or next). It’s an occult/universal law, not a human-made law; hence, it applies to anyone if they are aware of it or not. That’s one of the reasons why we are so far away from any significant shift in consciousness (let alone a real awakening.) We keep creating more and more karmic debt with our unresolved stuff, triggers, and resulting mechanical shadow projections. One projection triggers someone which triggers someone else, triggering another person…creating projections over projections and round and round we go while the hidden (occult) rulers of the matrix feed off of it all and augment the triggers/projections pitting us against each other, especially nowadays where everyone is “offended” by something. I call it the “projected butterfly shadow effect.” You can see this unconscious “game” of trigger/projection in your personal life with friends and family, on Facebook/social media, and in the world at large. Observe yourself; do you have any resentment towards anyone in your life, and does your mind justify it? Who triggers you? What person do you feel contempt/resentment for, are jealous of/angry at – be it people you know personally, your ex-partner(s), your social media “friends”, or any person you actually never met in real life? Check your judgments and projections, for they are entry points for occult forces pulling your strings. One of the best things you can to do for yourself AND the world is owning your

“Philosophical thinking that doesn’t do violence to one’s settled mind is no philosophical thinking at all.”
Actually, Good From page 14 dangerously is being open-hearted enough to be okay with having your heart broken. In fact, it’s about becoming adept at adapting to heart break. It’s about overcoming the slings and arrows of life and becoming resilient, robust, and antifragile because of heartbreak. On a long enough timeline heartbreak is inevitable anyway. So, you might as well get better at adapting to it, at learning from it, at transforming it into something that can make you stronger. Taking risks, loving dangerously, loving vulnerably with your heart on your sleeve… That’s true courage.
Consciousness From page 17 in seeing circumstances for what they are, and was better able to keep balance much better, which has certainly led to an increase in quality of life. This has all made my personal journey more significant, rather than what it was over a decade ago because I was letting the tide control my bearing rather than my choices – my choices at the being level, at the level of consciousness. And it is the being level – where your consciousness resides – that calls the shots, that holds the most power within your life. You might be thinking, but how can we make choices from different parts of our being? Ponder this, and ponder this carefully please for it has an incredible bearing on what follows: when you are driving anywhere, and it’s a long drive, doesn’t your mind – at times – end up drifting to such an extent, that you don’t even remember part of your journey? We have all gone through this. Now I ask you, who is making that choice? State differently, what part of Page 19
Loving dangerously is loving without an agenda. It’s being a true hopeless romantic rather than just talking out your ass about it (like hopeful or hopefool romantics do). It’s allowing others to love the way they must love. It’s letting go of your ego’s attachment to love. It’s loving at the edge of the human condition: fallible, uncertain, hungry, in a frenzy. Paraphrasing Samuel Becket: Ever loving. Ever broken hearted. No matter. Love again. Break your heart open again. Break it better… That’s loving dangerously. Life is short. Love is risky. Courage is uncomfortable. But more of life comes from love laid open and bare than love closedup and made invulnerable in vain. So, take
your being is making that choice? Is it you, at the being level? Or is it the you when the auto-pilot which engages that makes choices seamlessly, and yet, not thoughtfully? Only you can answer that question. This is relevant because much of our lives – mine included – can be lived in autopilot mode. This has been something I think about a lot, because paying attention to 30+ poker tables simultaneously, you almost engage in autopilot play by default, just like in life. In that sense, we as individuals end up operating like machines, instead of operating with thoughtfully carried out choices, as beings of reason. It is within the focus that only resides within our being that our best choices stem from. And while autopilot serves its purpose, many options that are taken at the autopilot level aren’t necessarily what’s best for us as individuals. This is crucial for there are times where choices made from within our deepest levels must be taken, for if they are not and autopilot engages, we can take the wrong turn in life. If that takes place sometimes it can be

quite tough to get back onto our original path. In my case, the ‘best’ (or worst!) examples of choices I have taken in autopilot are those which affected my health. This is the vanguard reason why I attempt to – though don’t always – end up trying to be hyper-focused – mindful – on many things that might seem irrelevant. Why so? If as an individual, one can be incredible focused on the run-of-the-mill ‘easy’ choices, then being focused when it counts it’s a lot easier. This way staying on our personal bearing isn’t as complicated as it can be become if we’re on autopilot. Seeing the potentiality of every single choice, no matter how small, reminds me of the sentiment within the quote by Carmelo Anthony which states: “Any decision I make is the biggest decision of my life.” Just like the captain of a ship cannot get to his destination without plotting a specific course, individuals cannot get to their destination without taking specific choices. Choices that are taken with every step, with every breath. Choices that can open the doors of today,

ARRYING TRAUMATIC MEMORY without first going through the full-on acknowledgement phase of shock and mourning a loss will delay the integration of lessons learned. This delay will cause the “symptoms” of the traumatic memory, like emotional or memory distortions and misunderstood fears or perceptions. These will manifest in personality and life yet without conscious access to the memories the reasons will remain unknown and the solution will be invisible. Reliving and re-acknowledging the repressed memories allows the individual to process the information and make the necessary adjustments which were previously avoided. Refusing only creates the illusion of lack of change that we choose to accept over the uncomfortable truth about our selves or
Sanity From page 3 and experiential rabbit holes of consciousness that those still jacked into the matrix can’t even imagine. And in so doing you open up the possibility for an immensely more fulfilling and enjoyable life that has really deeply explored the more intimate questions about what it means to be a human being on this planet. Jiddu Krishnamurti once said, “It is no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” And a profoundly sick society is indeed what we have here. The alienation which we experience is an alienation from something that isn’t worth belonging to anyway. I began this essay with a quote from
Black Magic From page 18 projections/triggers, take responsibility for how you feel, and use them to inquire within and heal yourself without blame/victim mode or launching into attack/defense. I’m not saying that’s easy, as I know for myself since I have my own triggers and projections at times. In order to reduce the possibility of you becoming a target of occult psychic attack or even black magic, you need to reduce your occult vulnerabilities. Tom Montalk made a good point about this in the forum discussion as well: “If you’re sending hate darts at people, emitting thoughts of contempt and judgment, revenge fantasies, even sexual fantasies, these do things to your energy field and overall “balance sheet” that open up additional vulnerabilities to negative influences.” You can add envy, jealousy, or any other negative projection with an emotional charge behind this, as well. Most often, the other person’s unconscious wounds, traumas, or ego issues/ self-importance/insecurity get triggered, and their pain is being projected onto another person, which is then augmented by occult forces. We can engage in the same pattern of shadow projection ourselves unconsciously if we don’t check our own triggers. It’s also an occult law that these projections will come back around to the person emitting them to “balance sheet” like karmic debt. That goes for any black magic/psychic attacks targeted on others, consciously (via ritual and curses) or unconsciously (via shadow projections). “In occultism, there is the “rebound”. You send out a bad thought, it returns to you as an attack. That is exactly one of the reasons why you must have a complete control over your feelings, sensations, thoughts, for if you become angry with Page 21
Carrying Traumatic Memory and Release the situation. When people resist change that is already present, that will build up to a pressure point until the necessary change will break through the ‘weakest link’ in the belief system. If we resist to the degree that the entire belief system is aimed away from accepting the truth, then ultimately the entire belief system will have to fail before the truth is realized. This is kind of like resisting the desire to loosen a tense muscle. The tension will increase and increase
until now a whole region of the body is tense. Emotional therapy, memory release, and emotional release are some names of this form of healing. A free-flowing yet steady continuity of emotional, mental, and physical balance indicates a healthy/clear spirit. Where there is resistance to that free-flowing essence there is a pain or a delay in that flow of consciousness. Repressed memories are how we learn to accept our insecurities and live with them instead of unlocking the emotional and mental
content behind those insecurities and learning from them thus rendering them a ‘security’ of the personality. When the energy field or mind contains the effects of traumatic events they act like scars in the emotional spectrum of the personality. These frequencies of emotions and their memories have to be worked through and fully experienced in order to become acknowledged consciously for the first time. When this happens the intensity of the memory experience may be similar to the actual event. Being able to work with the information and integrate into constructive change is the unlocking of that repressed emotional and mental energy by the conscious mind so that it can be put to use.
one of the celebrated thought leaders of the psychedelic movement, and I think the question of what we can do to cope with the alienation McKenna spoke of is best answered by ending with a quote from another such leader, Timothy Leary: “Admit it. You aren’t like them. You’re not even close. You may occasionally dress yourself up as one of them, watch the same mindless television shows as they do, maybe even eat the same fast food sometimes. But it seems that the more you try to fit in, the more you feel like an outsider, watching the ‘normal people’ as they go about their automatic existences. For every time you say club passwords like ‘Have a nice day’ and ‘Weather’s awful today, eh?’, you yearn inside to say forbidden things like
‘Tell me something that makes you cry’ or ‘What do you think deja vu is for?’. Face it, you even want to talk to that girl in the elevator. But what if that girl in the elevator (and the balding man who walks past your cubicle at work) are thinking the same thing? Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on conversation with a stranger? Everyone carries a piece of the puzzle. Nobody comes into your life by mere coincidence. Trust your instincts. Do the unexpected. Find the others.”

someone or think badly of him, or if, still worse, you wish him ill, well, in your very dream you see this person coming with an extreme violence to attack you. Then, if you do not know these things, you say, “Why, I was right in having bad thoughts against him!” But in fact, it is not at all that. It is your own thought that comes back to you. And the person may be absolutely unaware of all that has happened, for — and this is one of the commonest laws in occultism — if you make a formation, for instance, a mental formation that an accident or something unpleasant should happen to a certain person and you send out this formation, if it so happens that this person is in a very high state of consciousness, does not at all wish anything bad, is quite indifferent and disinterested in the affair, the formation will come up against his atmosphere and instead of entering will rebound upon the one who has made it. In this way, serious accidents have taken place. There were certain people who practiced that low deformation of occultism which is called magic and they had made formations through magic against someone. But this person happened to be far above this and could not be touched by those formations. So they returned upon those people, fatally. If they had made a formation of death, it would have been they who died.” – The Mother Mira Alfassa, The Collected Works of the Mother As always, it is best to just make boundaries (energetically and psychically), and not get into victim/blame or attack/defense mode but staying in non-reactive zero-point— the most important and most difficult part is to not take anything personally. If you can rise above, not accepting any thought suggestions and not reacting to them whatsoever, you stay immune to any psychic attack and will, in fact, send it back to the sender who then has to deal with his/her thought formation him/ herself. This is easier said than done because the ego, with its self-importance or self-pity,
always likes to blame externally and fall into victim/blame to attack/defend, engage in passive-aggressiveness, sulking inside silently with negative thought projections (especially resentment), or fully lashing out verbally, etc. Hence, a consistent meditation practice is the key to learn to still your mind and detach from any thoughts and emotional reactivity. In the same way, any negative projected thought you send out will come back around to attack you. In some instances, it’s actually good to reach out (if it’s asked for) and bring it all into the open by applying basic shadow work with self-responsibility for the purpose of healing relationships, especially if it’s someone you know personally. But this only works if both people (or more) are committed to the process and SINCERELY 100% ready to take full selfresponsibility for their feelings and projections. This requires a certain level of vulnerability, courage, and humility as well. However, I’ve noticed that many people are not capable of engaging in this process of open, vulnerable, shadow work for they lack basic emotional intelligence and can’t tune into their bodies, or, oftentimes, are missing a certain intellectual capacity to understand and apply basic shadow work. Sometimes they may simply fear this face-to-face process for it asks for a certain level of transparency and vulnerability (which unmasks and is, therefore, threatening to the ego); while others simply lack the sincerity to work on themselves and truly take self-responsibility for everything they feel without blaming/attacking/or becoming defensive. “The majority of people find many excuses not to work on themselves. They are in a complete prison of their weaknesses. Understand me right, I do not need followers, I am rather interested in finding the real warriors of the new world.”– Gurdjieff, The Last Hour of Life The greatest equalizer to engaging with negative thought projections is to witness them with clarity and hold the other with true compassion, seeing them as an aspect of you when you are also hurt, confused, and

wanting to offload the energy onto someone else. This does not mean you engage/ accept others’ projections or do not create boundaries, but you hold space for them as a witness, knowing that we are all here to work through our illusions with each other as teachers. In this way, the people who trigger us can be our greatest guides in learning this, as the pain they project outwards is often their only way of expressing what they are feeling inside. If we accept the projection, we make it about us. If we can witness it in them (without allowing ourselves to jump to conclusions about who “they” are because they engage with these projections, or who “we” are because they’ve chosen us as a target) we also weaken the impact these illusions have, not letting them “hook” us back into old traumas, wounds, and false beliefs and ultimately turn off the food source for occult hyperdimensional entities. In that sense, you can literally get rid of entity attachments and interferences without removing the entity itself, which would be just symptom management anyway. All occult/ psychic attacks and entity interferences can only have an impact if there is something within you that responds to it, consciously or unconsciously, hence all this “entity removal business” out there is useless if you don’t take self-responsibility, understand/applying occult/universal laws and are sincerely engaged in psychological and esoteric self-work to heal/close the entry point (wounds, traumas, shadow projections, blind spots, ego, lower nature temptations (lust, greed, power), karmic lessons, etc.) and bring forth your essence, your true Self, connected to the Divine. Your psychic being/true self is the only place untouchable by the hostile forces or any occult/ black magic attack. T’S FINDING OUT that what you hold to be a ‘Part Of You’ is a LIE which isn’t. To laugh at some ridiculousness which someone has enacted or repeated is usually immediately reacted to as: “Are you laughing at me?” To which I reply “I’m not laughing at you, I’m laughing with you.” Which many reply “Well I’m not laughing.” For which I reply “Then I’m laughing for you.” Here are some of the things which I have to laugh at (because I am tired of weeping): I think that we all know that Big Pharma is all about profit. Yet people still take their drugs believing they are about health. There is a lot of evidence against the efficacy and safety of vaccines, not to mention the countless accounts from victims of the ‘adverse reactions’ which includes death. Yet people still line up to get them and are easily incited to FORCE others to partake in this lunacy. Voting never changes anything but people keep doing it, believing that ‘this time’ it’s all going to be ‘right’. Makes me think of “This time, I’m hitting those sevens.” (How many times can people keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results?) Microsoft is implicated in sterilizing ‘vaccines’ and eugenics, to mention a couple, and people (including the ‘alt media’) still use their operating system. I have offered, for the past decade, to help people install and adjust to Linux to rid themselves of MS Windows. There have not been many takers to my offer. The one (maybe it is only one) which I can think of, was eager to learn and

to wean himself from the clutches of Gates; perhaps I should be happy with that. That said, there have been others which have failed in the process and some which even ‘blame’ me for their inability to adapt. There is a lot of that these days - “My ignorance is your fault”. (sigh) You can show people that a handful of companies control all the media they watch yet they still go home and watch TV believing that the ‘News’ is real. They believe that they are ‘learning’ something because they watch a lot of the History Channel. Hmm, history, written by the winners in the first place, served up by the 5 or so companies which control most media globally? Sounds like a great source for honesty. But you cannot say these things to them for it will invoke an argument as they MUST be learning something or else the majority of their lives will have amounted to NOTHING. (The games we play in our own programmed minds.) The dangers of blue lights have been studied and publicly acknowledged yet there is still a push for LED everything and people keep using their glowing devices in the dark. People are informed or have heard about the social experiments and psychological manipulation of social media yet they still use them. Even after learning that
the designers of said platforms don’t and won’t let their children near them. They tell themselves that their child ‘needs’ a tablet for his schoolwork and a ‘smartphone’ for his ‘security’. One of the things which I have observed is how it is now about ‘Reacting’ instead of responding in an augmented ‘Perception”. It has been a wellestablished fact for years about the dangers of sodas (affectionately known as ‘soft drinks’) yet people keep drinking them. Just hang outside a major supermarket or Walmart and see how many cases come out in the short time you are there. (All’s good in ‘moderation’ right? Who knew spandex came in XXXXL?) People ask: “Why can’t they build stuff which lasts anymore?” - You know what, they CAN - we have been programmed to say stupid shit. The correct usage would have been “Why DON’T they build...?”. Because it is a CHOICE and by using the word “can’t” it is implying that the capacity of production is not there - it is an excuse, a justification whether we see it or not; it is programmed, automatic. And not only do the machines have to hold up to time but the repair parts must also be available. Too many things these days could easily be repaired if the companies would make the parts available. There are so many layers (hands in pockets) involved
in the ‘manufacturing scam’. We have the knowledge and technology to build things to last at least a hundred years; now why don’t we? (So we can be blamed for ‘destroying’ the planet with our ‘mindless’ consumption.) People don’t seem to realize that the ‘red pill’ is not about knowing that the government is corrupt or that corporations rule the land with banksters and evil families, it is about realizing your entire life may be a lie and until you can deal with that fact, you are still playing THEIR game - so they flock (and I use that term loosely) to ‘alt media’ in search of yet another external point of blame (POB) and they are learning what exactly? What this world needs most is change and to do that, it means that each and every person must change. All these ‘habits’ and ‘beliefs’ that are held as the ‘self’ must be questioned and addressed; to change on a large scale, it must begin with the smallest details. Individual ‘reactions’ holds the key. Look at how hard everything about you seems to wants you to react then learn to curb the reactions with responses and whoohoo we are on the way to ‘change’. (Reactions don’t involve thought like responses.) ‘Seeking’ is not (as far as I can see) the answer (just like that constant ‘pursuit of happiness’). To BE a better person today than you were yesterday brings out the ‘wisdom’ within and that starts with the smallest changes of ‘self’. Stop searching for external POBs and start bettering the world one person at a time. There are only so many ‘rabbit holes’ the soul can take so stop being lured down by someone you don’t know; put down the pitchforks and KNOW yourself. But what do I know? HEN A HUMAN BEING is asleep, which is to say, in a trance, he continues to create subconsciously, because creation doesn’t stop. The question is: what is the purpose of the trance? It’s a state of mind aimed at excluding alternative realities. So a person can be walking around and carrying on with his life, and yet he is in that trance. He sees reality around him and it rarely occurs to him that everything could be different. More importantly, it never occurs to him that he could create something quite different. Nor does he imagine that, if he expressed, in some way, what he really thinks, he would then be inventing another reality, which is, in fact, powerful. Nor does it occur to him that what he could invent has no boundaries. So I’m talking about a “reality trance.” It is ruled by What Is. It seeks to see and imitate What Already Is. In this trance, a person has absolutely no idea about the difference between what he thinks and what he REALLY thinks. He would only find out the difference by starting to express what he thinks—that process would lead him out, eventually, into new territory. If he stayed with it long enough, if he played out the string on his conventional thoughts, he would find himself in a new land. It’s all there, waiting. The thoughts, the unknown thoughts that would make a person’s existence transform into something far more powerful. Which is exactly why this society places
Art of Life From page 5 society, as the realization of this great truth contains the power to change everything: first individually and eventually collectively. One small flame of awareness is enough to light an entire cave, and inspire others to take to their own matches. The momentum of this illumination is the guide for human evolution.
Consciousness and a World Asleep such a premium on NOT expressing what you really think. Society is a structure that wants to keep the lid on. People are mainly children, in the sense that they believe they know everything worth knowing. They believe the book is closed. They believe they’ve got it all wrapped up. They may be interested in discovering
what lies behind propaganda fairy tales, but they don’t want to believe they’re working propaganda operations on themselves. But they are. And these internal operations are all about NOT giving voice and word to new thoughts. And when I say “new,” I mean new to them. They opt for what they already know, whether it is conventional or strange or pedestrian or brilliant. They want to make their final stand on what they already know. So they cut themselves off at the knees. And they fall into a reality trance.
loop of the old paradigm. More innovatively, we can create minds that are un-hijackable. This is the new paradigm. Parasites are no match for a creator who knows his artistic gifts. An aware creator doesn’t have to worry about weakminded games, for he is too busy designing his piece of the universe to his ultimate perfection. With the stroke of a brush, he creates happiness. With the notes of a melody, he brings harmony to
We Are Masters of Reality
A human being isn’t just any creator, but a mighty one, one that is ever-so-slowly awakening again to who he is. He is not the influencer of his fate, but the high-end designer with a tool-kit that is as limitless as his spirit. This blatant truth has been denied and repressed for too long. Ironically, any sincere individual can test what has been called the Law of Attraction themselves to find the substance in these words. Instead of living in fear, dread, grief or anger you can consciously cultivate a life of joy, health, peace, enthusiasm. Any being can re-program their beliefs and see the direct results in their life. The outcome is a divine experience in which you firsthand witness the power of your own mind; a discovery so delightful that soon you will be consciously creating more and more joy in your life (and in other’s lives) just because you can, knowing you are inherently worthy. A natural side effect of conscious creation is remembering our origins. This kind of creation could not exist in an unintelligent universe. That being said, there is no reason to continue to create resentment towards those who have, purposely or unwittingly, sought to hijack our minds. To do so is to continue the destructive Page 23
his community. With the addition of rich colors, he brings health back into his being. With artistic passion for the multi-dimensional piece of art that is his life, he continually adds more reasons to be joyful to his experience. When the contrast of what he doesn’t want arises, he simply uses that new information to refine his creation even more. He pulls a Bob Ross and turns that happy accident into flowers. With the shining of a light, darkness cowers and dissipates. He knows his ability to speak his will into existence is as boundless as he believes it to be, and so takes satisfaction in the never-ending expansion of his highest love.
Art, which is expression taken to the fullest, breaks the reality trance. A person is no longer hateful about waking up to something he doesn’t already know. Venal little minds scream: I ALREADY KNOW EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW. And then they continue to drown in their own bile. Years later, they discover, much to their chagrin, that no one is stopping them from “knowing everything.” No one cares. And they just keep drowning. In this life, we have two choices. We can create what already is, or we can create what isn’t and never was. The second choice is the vast adventure, which, when embarked upon, lets a person know why he’s alive. What is called mind control is everything a person does to himself to curtail and develop amnesia about the vast adventure. But there are people out there who were looking for something else, something beyond group concerns that could trap them forever—concerns that build a wall between them and their own creative power. Creative power—this “little selfish preoccupation,” as it’s been called—is the difference between night and day, civilization and chaos, desire fulfilled and victimhood, life-force and walking death, deception and insight, fierce joy and a sinkhole in which the same emotions go around and around and
The dreary portrait of human existence livens richly as creators wake up to their God-given rights of creation- a creation that always starts from the inside and is reflected in the material outside. Earth is a mystery school for our spirit to fine-tune its abilities to express and expand itself through the infinite love as our own Creator once did.
The New Paradigm
The devastation we have created has served its purpose of teaching. The new age the Mayans (and many other ancient cultures) prophesied is here. A radical change in which we are no longer victims of our illusions but masters of our realities is afoot on a mass level. The awakening is slow but true. We are in a time when our abilities are shifting and accelerating.
I dare say, you can already feel it in the air. Things are changing.
Though we are the artists of our world, make no mistake. We must still learn how to master our tools and the techniques of our trades. Much must be done in the realm of the subconscious mind to see results in the conscious. Fear not, for though the learning of the subconscious mind is far different and less acknowledged than that of the conscious, it is completely realizable for any individual. All it takes is effort and determination, some research on meditation, affirmations, vision boards, tools of attention, belief systems, and above all the practices of willpower,
around. The reason behind the reason I write about fraud and crime and conspiracy in public life is: I want to expose how reality is being built for us. How perverse designers are constructing a collective mural of existence. Understanding that, one can begin to see how he can create other realities—without end. It’s as if we’re living in a huge room with no ceiling and yet we’re behaving as if there is a ceiling 10-feet high. The “10-feet high” is the result of amnesia about our own imaginations. The purpose of the collective is destruction of imagination. But imagination can never be destroyed. All individuals can do is force themselves to stay asleep about it. Or decide to wake up. Over and above everything I’m pointing out in this article, imagination is the wild card in the deck. It’s the greatest wild card ever known. It is, in fact, the cutting edge of consciousness. It invents new realities. It releases gigantic amounts of buried energy. And it’s entirely an individual proposition. I built my second collection, Exit From The Matrix, on that basis: the liberation and expansion of imagination. Not just in theory, but in practice. There are dozens of imagination techniques to work with. Going Forward
Let me end by giving you this: YOU are a powerful creator with the ability
to experience anything you desire. A trip to Paris, a healthy family, a successful career, a happy life, a work of art. It is not a matter of luck or fortune. It is a matter of knowing your Self; a matter of mastering your mind and will; a matter of releasing doubt and cultivating true self-love. Overall, it is about de-programming from the self-sabotaging code of an insane society and rewriting your own story in your mind with fortitude, consciously and subconsciously. The trick to successful results in your creation is perfecting the alignment of your inner vision with clarity and allowing it to unfold materially. Contrary to popular belief, the universe we live in is unfathomably intelligent, self-aware, and seeking to work with those who wish to work with it. The only limits you have are those you believe in for yourself. Deprogramming from the old paradigm is a long series of shedding old conceptual barriers that hold you back and consciously re-wiring what YOU want to experience. So let us take joy in the coming of the new paradigm in which we are the conscious creators of our reality, the composers of our masterpieces, becoming the movers and the shakers of our world. We came here with intent: to actualize our gifts and use them for high purposes. Gone are the days of allowing the human race to be degraded and debased by the destructive ego. Now is the time of evolving with the meaningful expansion of life. Here’s to a wonderful new decade of wisdom, Regan
