Silver Cross Hospital has over a 100-year history of responding to the healthcare needs of the communities we serve. Today, our commitment to caring has not diminished. In fact, we are creating new healing spaces to meet the needs of our growing communities. Our three-year Capital Campaign benefiting emergency and inpatient services will help fund: • A major expansion of our Emergency Department facilities. • The addition of 35 state-of-the-art private patient rooms for our post surgical patients • The renovation of a patient and visitor-friendly entrance to the John and Hazel Francis Pavilion.
Exceeding our patients’ and physicians’ expectations is a guiding principle in creating the 35-bed state-of-the-art post surgical patient care unit. Special features in these private rooms include advanced technology for monitoring cardiac signs and oxygen levels; a patient controlled environment beyond the bed including temperature, lighting and sound; private bath and shower; bedside nursing terminals, and family space with a pull-out-bed for overnight stays. Designated areas for doctors will provide a user-friendly and efficient environment for clinical caregivers. Opportunities for named gift investments in this new healing space include: • Patient Rooms • Nurse/Physician Stations • Visitor Spaces • Information Technology • Medical Equipment and Furnishings • Artwork
These three projects combined, represent an investment in excess of $25 million to improve healthcare services for you and your loved ones.
Silver Cross Hospital is there for you and your loved ones 24 hours a day every day of the year. These three major projects are in response to the needs of our community’s residents. From the moment “the call” comes for your emergency to the time you or your loved ones are able to leave the hospital we are here to provide the best medical treatment in an environment that contributes to your quick recovery. The Emergency Department expansion, new Patient Care Department and the Francis Pavilion Entrance renovation are all designed to meet the healthcare needs of our patients, physicians and visitors today and well into the future. We invite you to join us by making a tax-deductible contribution to your Silver Cross Hospital’s Capital Campaign. These life-saving projects are just a few of the many ways, together, we can make sure your Silver Cross experience is the way you should be treated.
