Watercolour Swatches In 1692 (centuries before Pantone!) Dutch artist A. Boogert wrote a book about mixing watercolours. Spanning nearly 800 pages, it was probably the most comprehensive guide to paint and colour of its time. This incredible book was the inspiration for this eye-catching art print collection. Our design team enhanced and adapted the original artwork to breathe fresh life into Boogert’s beautiful watercolour swatch paintings.

Researched and recorded by a naturalist over 40 years dating back to 1860, we found these incredible drawings of fungi from England and Wales rendered in pencil, watercolour, and ink, and chose the most well-known British species to curate this one of a kind fine art print.

This image of the tarot card “Cups” is from an Italian tarot card set that we acquired from the 1700’s. Our design team restored & enhanced the artwork to create this beautiful fine art print. Cups is thought to be a positive omen in a love Tarot reading if you are in a relationship because it indicates the prospect of romantic proposals and unions.

Japanese Fireworks

This antique celestial image caught our eye

for its beauty and the concentric nature of the design. Dating back to 1851, the image explores the central sun and the view of the fixed stars, published in the book ‘Astronomical Images Atlas of Ludwig Preyssinger’.

This unique design features a curation of nine illustrations from Japanese Fireworks catalogues from the 1880s. Without photos, C.T. Brock and Co. used these stunning illustrations to evoke the unique sense of visual wonder for their fireworks collection.
