Unpack your machines (chosen options) and carefully slide each unit into position, pushing firmly during the last stages to ensure the power socket is securely ‘plugged’ into the trolley housing (Pic 11). Care should be taken to note the ‘side’ that the machine leads must be plugged. You should mount your machines within the housing to ensure that the ‘side’ the leads plug in, and the corresponding ‘accessory holder’ are both on the same side of the tower (see Pic 15). This will make for easy usage of the whole system. Once the machine cartridges are fitted into the tower unit, use the fixing screws supplied to firmly secure the each machine in position (Pic12)
Pic. 11
Pic. 12
Once the above has been completed, take the hot towel unit and ensure the plug socket on the rear is free from packaging materials. Then slide the towel warm onto the roller base plate and slide backwards, ensuring that the power socket on the rear of the machine is aligned with the ‘tower power socket’. Once you are happy that the unit is correctly positioned, simply push the unit firmly to make a good connection with the tower power socket (Pic13)

Ensure socket is correctly aligned
Once the main component assembly of the tower is complete, open the side access panels of the tower unit and connect the accessories to their machine, then place each attachment into its designated holder on the same side of the tower (Pic14). Once this is completed, carefully close the side access panels ensuring that no cables are trapped or crimped by the panel door (Pic15). Your machine is now ready for use. It is advisable that all of your chosen machines are tested and the accessories cleaned (made sterile) individually prior to conducting your initial client treatments with the system.

USING THE SYSTEM COMPONENTS F-300D Facial steamer The F-300D uses the latest concepts in steamer production, both in terms of design, manufacture and operation, making it very different from traditional steamer designs. Utilising an LCD screen, the F-300D enables easy user inspection of the steamer status. The new heating system utilised in the steamer enables faster heat up time (to boiling) compared with traditional types of steamer. Due to the new ‘invisible’ element system, the steamer water vessel is far easier to clean & maintain. The materials used in the steamer vessel construction are made from anti-heat composites are more thermally efficient than tradition materials used, improving both heat retention and heat dissipation. This allows the outer surface to remain cooler than traditional steamers and helps to prevent accidental scalding. The steamer is also equipped with pre-set timer functions, together with three adjustable levels of steam output. The unit is completed by an auto ‘water level warning system’ which sounds an alarm if the water level is too high or too low. This safety features prevent accidental spitting should the unit be overfilled, and also prevent the unit from overheating or ‘running dry’. The F-300 series steamers may be used in conjunction with your 3021 multi functions system or can be utilised independently by purchasing a separate roller stand tower (3020) from your appointed sales agent.

Main Unit Operation 1. To remove the water vessel for filling, simply press the vessel release button and slide the vessel out of the machine using the handle and place on a flat, stable surface to fill (fig 2 below) If you wish to fill the steamer without removing the water vessel, ensure the power (mains) is switched off. Then remove the filler cap (fig 3 below) and herb jar and pour water into the filler hole while maintaining a careful watch on the water level indicator on the side of the steamer. Ensure the water level is NOT filled above the maximum mark, as the unit will alarm if over filled. The steamer water level must always be between the ‘Min’ and ‘Maximum’ settings for normal operation.
Once you have filled the unit (as above), replace the herb jar and filler cap ensuring the cap is securely fastened. If the filler cap is not fully secured the ‘unlock’ warning will display on the main panel when switched on, and will not switch off until the cap is sufficiently tightened.
(3)
NB:- The ‘filler cap’ and ‘herb jar’ are individual parts. When releasing the water vessel, you may remove both by unscrewing the ‘herb jar’ only. When filling the water vessel, you may do so by removing the ‘filler cap’ only, removal of the herb jar is not required.
2. Reconnect to the power supply and then connect the power lead into the plug socket located on rear of the aluminium main tower (See picture right)
3. The steamer will then conduct a self diagnostic test (auto-check) once the power supply is turned on, and then go into ‘standby’ mode, ready for use. 4. Next select the ‘TIME’ required, together with the power ‘ENERGY’ level. It is recommended to set the ‘ENERGY’ to the maximum initially, to speed up the boiling process. Once boiling point has been reached you may turn down the ‘ENERGY’ level to the required output level. 5. Once boiling point (steam vapour starts) is reached, you may press the “ON/OFF OZONE” button to turn on the Ozone if you require it during your treatment. 6. If you wish to use aromatherapy oils during the treatment, you may remove the steam nozzle oil cap and insert 1 or 2 drops on the felt pad before replacing the cap. If you wish to use ‘herbs’, remove the filler cap and place the herbs (a small pinch) into the herb jar and replace the filler cap. Do not ‘overfill’ the herb jar as this may cause the steamer to spit.
CAUTION 1. This steamer uses a safety ‘self test’ function prior to steaming. If the water level is lower than the “MIN” line, or exceeds the “MAX” line, the steamer will not start for safety reasons; this also includes the water vessel not being correctly fitted. The main panel will show a warning symbol on the LCD screen instructing you which issue to correct. A safety alarm will also sound until the issue is rectified. Once corrected, all warnings will stop and the steamer will start, and steam vapour will shortly begin.

3. Please ensure the facial steamer is kept away from any high-interferential devices (such as High-frequency use. A H.F. device may interfere with steamer LCD screen or its circuit boards if it is too close. The steamer may stop working suddenly or the quality of its performance may be impaired. If this ‘accidentally’ occurs, please turn off the power to all systems, and then re-start after a period of around 15 seconds. The steamer should then continue with its normal working status. If the steaming process or the screen still does not work or its performance is impaired, it may be due to damage caused to the electronics of the unit from a strong HF source. If this happens, turn off the steamer and contact your sales agent for further information on repairs or replacement.

4. During use, please ensure the filler cap is securely fastened to prevent loss of steam and vapour pressure through the main outlet. Be sure not to ‘over tighten’ the filler cap/herb jar, as this may cause damage to the filler cap main seal or the thread and reduce the working life span of the steamer housing or cap. To avoid any form of steam vapour leakage, it is recommended to change the seal ring every three to four months. However, each steamer is supplied with one extra replacement sealing ring in the delivery packing carton. Ensure this spare seal is removed prior to discarding any packaging.
5. When filling the steamer through the filler cap, Do not remove the herb jar. Only remove the filler cap and pour in the water. Removing the herb jar may cause water to water drops to drip into the steamer casing which may cause damage to the steamer unit’s electrical components.
6. Do not attempt to remove the water vessel (jug) without first removing the herb jar first. Failure to remove the herb jar first, or forcing the water vessel out may result in damage to either the water vessel or the herb jar (see picture below).
Please note: the water vessel (jug) should be removed daily or after last use, for cleaning purposes. Remove any remaining water or moisture and then wash the jug and ensure it is dried thoroughly prior to replacing. When cleaning the water jug, ensure that the ‘power connecter socket’ does not get any water or moisture in it. Any water ingress to the connecter socket will damage the circuitry of the steamer and may cause injury to steamer user. .

F-311 ULTRASONIC PEEL
Theory 1. Using ultrasonic waves, the ultrasonic peeler machine gives excellent results in clearing blackheads, pimples, aids removal or milia & comedone, dirt or congestion, cosmetic’s or make up residue, grease and give good results for acne sufferers. 2. There are three operational waves: the Continuous wave ( ), Pulse wave ( ) and a Slower pulse wave ( ). Selection of these waves is visibly displayed on the LCD screen.
Operation of the ultrasonic peeler 1.
Ensure the ultrasonic peeling probe is securely fitted (pushed) into the machine and the cable is not obstructed, to allowing free movement of the handset/probe during the treatment.
2.
Switch ‘on’ the mains power supply for the tower system, which is located on the rear panel of the unit. Then turn on the machine power button, (button 1 below diagram) “POWER” and the machine will now go to ‘stand by’ mode, ready for use.
3.
Select the desired ‘waveform output’, ‘power output’ level and ‘time selection’. Please note (the standard you can however change any of these settings during the course of the treatment phase. default settings are ‘continuous-wave’, ’maximum power’ output and ‘15 minutes’ timer),
4.
Press “START / PAUSE” button, hold the probe between the thumb and forefinger respectively, ensuring they are on the small safety ‘earth poles’ on either side of the probe. Once a safety earth circuit is made by holding these buttons, the peeling probe will start to function. The LCD display will also show the probe is now active. Hold the probe at a 45° downward angle and move the probe in a ‘forward only’ direction to cleanse the skin. Once you have complete the exfoliating process, remove the probe from the skin and break the ‘earth circuit’ by removing your finger or thumb from the earth button on the side of the handset. The handset will then stop after a few seconds, which will be Indicated by the probe symbol on the front of the machine’s LCD screen.
5.
Post ‘peeling’ you may rehydrate or sooth the skin, by applying product with the reverse side (of blade) of the sonic peel handset.
An introduction to the front panel ①Power on/off ②Probe status display ③Wave type display ④Timer ⑤Energy“+”button ⑥Timer”+”button
⑦ Start/pause ⑧ Energy (power level) ⑨ ‘Waveform’ selector ⑩ Energy “-”button ⑾ Timer ‘-‘button
Attention 1. The system works with a positive earth circuit, for safety reasons. Should the peeling probe be unable to detect the client’s skin (find a return circuit to machine) the system will pause the output, which will be indicated by a ‘flashing’ probe symbol on the LCD screen. This may caused by a bad or loose connection to the machine, or due to lack of conductive product on the client’s skin. Check to ensure there are no loose connections, enough product is applied and then reboot (switch off and on) the machine. Once a good circuit has been re-established the machine will restart and continue until the selected time ends. 2. If the above checks do not rectify the issue when the machine is restarted, and the probe is touched on the skin, there may be possible damage to the probe’s blade, or damage to the ultrasound generators or their filaments. The ultrasound generators and the connecting filaments are sensitive pieces of equipment and should be treated as such. Damage may occur if the probe is dropped or knocked sufficiently hard enough. The probe is not ‘user repairable’ and if you suspect damage, you should contact your sales agent immediately and seek further advice. Only use ‘Genuine’ replacement parts from your supplying agent. Failure to do so may damage to your machine, or cause injury to the user. It will also invalidate your manufacturer’s warranty. 3. During the ultrasonic peeling phase, it is forbidden to use ‘Essential Oils’ or ‘Oil based’ products. The skin must be kept moist at all times to prevent overheating of the skins surface. This can best be achieved by ensuring the probe is always moving whilst in contact with the skin. Never use high viscosity skin care products (especially masks) with any ultrasonic probes, as some product penetration will occur. 4. Before conducting an ultrasonic peeling treatment it is advisable to ‘preset’ the power (energy) output level of the probe prior to use. This is so the level is not too high to cause client discomfort, and to prevent product ‘over spray’ from the probe being dispersed over non treatment areas.
CAUTION 1. Do not use this type of treatment for clients with the following health issues, such as heart disease, any infectious diseases, any dermal infections, any clients with known ‘electrical’ allergies or by clients that have pace makers or metal implants in their body. NB: all jewellery should be removed prior to this treatment being conducted. 2. Do not allow the probe to be ‘ON’ for too long without being used, as ‘overheating may occur and damage the probe blade. You ‘must not’ scrub the probe blade or use any abrasive devices (sand paper, wire wool etc) as this will damage the blade, and possibly cause abrasions on the client’s skin. Do not use the probe on any surface, other than dermal tissue.
3. N Never allow the skin’s surface s to become b dry during the treatment, add a more p product as re equired. 4. Take T care not n damage the probe cable c during g use, this can c be achieved by not over stretc ching the ca able, o by ensuring the cable does not become kin or nked. 5. When W in use e take care to ensure no n ‘product’ over spray y gets on the e machine or main tow wer unit, to p prevent acciidental dam mage. Neverr use any co orrosive sub bstances with the ultra asonic peelin ng probe. 6. If the unit do oes not perfform as exp pected in an ny way, or you y experien nce operational circum mstances ou ut of th he ordinaryy, please contact your sales s agent immediately for furthe er advice. Never attemp pt to open the m machine or its accessories for insp pection as they contain n no ‘user serviceable s parts’. Inspection or re epair b unauthorrised person by n is forbidde en and will invalidate i your manufa acturer’s wa arranty. 7. If the machine power cord c become es damaged d, it should be replaced d with a ‘Ge enuine’ man nufacturer’ss p part. Never use any ma achines with h a damage ed power lea ad. Please contact you ur sales age ent for furthe er in nformation.
F-3 312 ULTR RASOUN ND Ultrrasound massage m An ultrasonic u w wave (with a frequency higher than n 20,000Hz z) is a type of o ‘sound vib bration’ that is inaudiblle to hum man hearing g. This ‘ultra asound’ mayy be used on o the dermis and epidermis with a wide rang ge of excelle ent resu ults. Its main n use is pre escribed pro oduct penettration, where the products are introduced to the tissue with w ultra asonic wave es. It increa ases both th he uniformityy and penettration delivvery of prescribed prod ducts into the tissu ue and incre ease’s the therapeutic t effect of the prescribed product accordingly, a with a norm mal treatme ent dura ation of arou und 10-15 minutes m .
Mec chanical function f An ultrasonic u w wave acts on n the body by stimulatiing the body y cells from m the tiny micro-massag ge it producces. Exp pansion devvelops within n the space e in which th he cells exis st, causing movement m o of the cytop plasm, rotation of mitochondria m a, and the vibration v of the t cell nuccleus; which h stimulates and expands the cell membrane.. It improves local blood and lymph l circu ulation and also a increas ses the penetration dep pth of presc cribed produ ucts, and thus their effectivenes e ss. Ultrasou und also hellps to impro ove the meta abolism and d regenerattion of bodyy cellss.
Warming and d heating function f The e warming and a heating action of ulltrasound iss one of its most m importtant therape eutic factors s. It produce es internal heat, with w a tempe erature incre ease of app prox 80% ov ver normal massage. Thiss heat is disssipated by the blood circulation c and is not felt by the clie ent. This wa arming actio on can imprrove bloo od circulatio on, and also o helps to re educe inflam mmation of the t dermis. It is of particula ar benefit prrior & post plastic p surge ery to reduc ce swelling, with improvvements to the healing g proccess which in turn, aidss scar tissue reduction and a significant differrence in tisssue redness s. The e treatment is very relaxxing for clie ents, whatevver their circ cumstancess.
Chemical function The biochemical function of ultrasound comes from the reaction to anabolism and catabolism. Anabolism – The process that converts substances into other components of the organisms chemical structure. Catabolism – The metabolic process by which cells convert substances into excreted compounds. i.e. the process of cell metabolism. Small doses of ultrasound treatments can help promote the synthesis of proteins within the cells, which can help to regenerate damaged or wounded tissue, thus promoting the synthesis of fibre cells in the body. In the process of anabolism and catabolism, the prescribed product is absorbed and utilized by the cells. The accelerated metabolism of the cells, changes the PH level of the skin to an increased alkaline state, which facilitates greater absorption of the prescribed products. The skin lightens and is visibly smoother, which means this process is particularly effective with whitening/lightening products used for all types of pigmentation problems.
Benefits • Creates heat and warmth which will relax tissue and muscles • Breaks down molecular structure of prescribed products, aiding penetration and absorption • Reduces swelling and puffiness • Helps to smooth and soften fine lines and wrinkles • Exfoliates the top layer of the skin • Improves blood circulation • Increases cellular regeneration • Has a healing and regenerative effect on wounds and inflamed tissue • Increases the moisture retention of the skin • Improves acneic skin and reduces pore size • Gives the skin a healthy glow
CAUTION
(during use)
Never use on dry skin. A medium must always be applied Do not use on the stomach area of pregnant women Do not use on people with pace-makers (any electrical or rhythmic heart regulating device) Do not use on people with known heart conditions Always use ultrasonic electrodes with sufficient media (moisturiser or serum on the skin) Ultrasonic treatment is suitable for all skin types – the massage time and machine settings are varied for each of the different skin types. For sensitive skins – reduce the treatment time to ‘3-5min’ and ensure the power setting is at its lowest level to start with.
Combining ultrasound treatments Ultrasonic exfoliation lends itself perfectly as an after treatment for micro-dermabrasion, glycolic and other peels. It removes dead cells and any left over crystals, better than most cleansing techniques. You can help to speed up the healing and rejuvenation process of your client’s skin, by inducing water soluble products into the client’s skin with ultrasound after you have completed the cleansing process.
Ultrasound treatments
(product penetration)
• The treatment of using both ultrasound & cosmetic products consists of, (a) the intensity of the ultrasonic wave, (b) the period of treatment and (c) course of treatment length. • The period of the treatment for the entire face is generally between 5 and 15 minutes per treatment. However, prolonging each treatment will not multiply or improve its effectiveness. • The course length may be decided according to different skin conditions: acne 3-5 times, chronic issues, such as pigmentation or hyper-pigmentation, scars, acne rosacea, darkened eye-rim, eye bags, wrinkles etc, once every 2-3 days. One course usually consists of 10 sessions. Preventative treatment: 1 or 2 times every week. If the patient’s condition worsens during the specific treatment course, reduce the frequency of treatment (extend intervals between treatment) or reduce the intensity and extend the course of treatment. The interval between the each treatment should be 1-2 weeks. If the treatment required is over 3-4 courses, then the interval between treatments may be prolonged after the second treatment session. • The ultrasonic massage instrument has three kinds of wave state. The first is a ‘successive’ (continuous) wave ( ), the second is a ‘pulse’ ( ) (intermittent) wave and the third ‘fast pulse’ ( ).
• The first is a continuous ultrasound wave; whose intensity has a remarkably beneficial effect on the skin. The second is an intermittent (short) pulsing of ultrasound waves which lasts for a tiny fraction of a second. Therefore the important characteristic’s of these ‘pulse’ waves is that, the heat generated is markedly reduced, so that the ‘mechanical action’ of the ultrasound wave can be brought into full effect without client discomfort. The choice of wave state is as follows: generally, the pulse (intermittent wave form) state is used for the inflamed tissue areas (redness etc.) or for use on dilated capillaries, while the continuous (constant wave form) state is suitable for all other treatment types.
Theory Ultrasound treatment utilises direct ‘touching’ radiation. During the treatment, the ultrasonic head must be pressed against the surface of the skin. Please note: a suitable conductive agent (prescribed product) should always be used between the ultrasound head and the skin. Never use on dry skin only. The ultrasound head (generator) should be gently and slowly moved over the treatment area in circular or linear (back and forth) motion, dependant on the size of area being treated.
An introduction to the front panel (1) Power (2) Probe indicator (3) Wave indicator (4)Timer (5) Wave ‘State’ selector (6)Energy + button
(7)Time + button (8) Start/Stop (9) Energy (10) Probe Selector (11) Energy - button (12) Time – button Method 1. Before treatment, cleanse/tone the treatment area with the prescribed skin type products. 2. Remove any product residue prior to steaming the face for 10 minutes. 3. Cleanse the treatment area again to remove any dirt or debris on the face (milia/porous secretions etc) s to prevent the ultrasound waves from pushing it back into the dermis. 4. Gently tone over every part of the face (or treatment area) with the correct astringent. 5. After wiping off the astringent, the skin will be thoroughly cleansed for optimum protection. 6. After analysis of the face, carefully select the suitably prescribed product. 7. Apply a sufficient amount of prescribed product to the treatment area. 8. Push the “POWER” button and the machine is now in standby ready for use. Adjust the intensity of the output according to “Energy” blocks on the LCD display, generally you should start at 3-4 blocks and then increase as required. Output will vary with skin quality, age, and client tolerance. 9. Select the desired wave state, either continuous, pulse or fast pulse by switching the “STATE” button. 10.Hold the ultrasonic probe firmly and press the ‘Start’ button to begin. Massage the treatment area where the prescribed product has been applied using small circular motions to cover the whole treatment area. Treatment time will vary depending on the size of treatment area. A standard (complete) ‘facial area’ should take 10-15 mins of repetitive massage. 11.After completing the treatment, switch off the output and return the probe to its holder. It is necessary to wash and sterilise each ultrasonic head after every treatment.
Notes 1. Always cleanse before treatment. 2. Always ensure adequate product is applied for a minimum of 15 mins treatment time. 3. The heat output of the ultrasound generator corresponds directly to the power output selected. Generally, lower output is used in facials and higher output for body treatments. Always confirm client comfort to ensure that the output (temperature) is not ‘too high’.
4. If the treatment area is small or sensitive, use the ‘eye’ probe and ensure the energy output should be limited between 5-7 blocks (on the LCD screen “ENERGY” display). The treatment time may also be reduced to 810minutes. 5. A treatment course is generally around 10 sessions in total, with a minimum rest period of 1 day between sessions. If other facial treatments are being conducted to the same area, a minimum rest period of 7 days should be observed between treatments. 6. If the ultrasound generator of choice does not appear to have an output, please check that the correct probe & output socket for the chosen treatment has been selected. 7. The ultrasound probes should be cleaned with clean water (not hot) using a clean soft cloth and then chemically sterilised using an appropriate sterilisation fluid. Dry the probe carefully after sterilising and store safely in its holder on the trolley in between uses. NB: do not immerse the probe in any fluid! Always sterilize the probes again prior to use with a ‘steri-wipe’ type product of your choice.
CAUTION 1. Do not leave any of the ultrasound probes ‘turned on’ whilst unattended, otherwise ‘over heating’ may occur and this could result in damage to the probe or reduction of its working lifespan. 2. Do not attempt to separate the stainless steel generator from its rubber holder (handle), any attempt to do so, may cause irreparable damage to the generator. 3. Do not attempt to open any attachment or machine. The machine and attachments have no user changeable parts. All items should be returned to your purchasing agent or authorised repair centre.

Iono theory The galvanic current is a constant and direct current (D.C.) rectified to a safe low voltage level. This direct current flows in one direction only and has adjustable polarity. When current is flowing, the current will always be from one electrode to the other (red to black) regardless of polarity. Chemical changes are produced when the current is passed through certain solutions containing acids and salts. Chemical effects are also produced when a galvanic current is passed through the tissue and fluids of the body. The Galvanic machine has two important functions during a facial treatment. Its main function is to introduce water soluble products into the skin, and this process is called ionophoresis. When using a galvanic current, there are two poles with a selective negative (-) or positive (+) polarity output to choose from. Positive pole (ANODE) and Negative pole (CATHODE) • Produces acid reaction • Produces alkaline reaction • Soothes nerves • Stimulates nerves • Decreases blood supply • Increases blood supply • Hardens tissue • Softens tissue The positive pole may be used: • To close the follicles (pores) after the facial treatment • To decrease redness, as in mild acne. • To prevent inflammation after comedone and blemish treatment • To force acid pH solutions, such as astringent, into the skin. The negative pole may be used for the following conditions: • To stimulate the circulation of blood to dry skin. • To force desincrustation lotion (alkaline pH solution) into the skin. Do not use the galvanic current over an area with any broken capillaries.
Desincrustation: describes a process that softens and liquefies grease deposits, usually accumulation of sebum in the follicles. This sebum is usually filled with dead cells, makeup and grease. In order to perform a desincrustation treatment, an alkaline solution is used to penetrate the follicle to dissolve the debris. It is important to remove all traces of massage cream and cleanser from the skin before starting the desincrustation treatment, as any residual desincrusation lotion will emulsify the products and may force them into the follicles. Ionisation: is the forcing of a solution or cream into the skin. The ions of electricity from the positive pole will pass through a moisturising cream or lotion that has been applied to the client’s face and assure deeper penetration of the product into the skin. In order for the ionisation to work properly, the cream or lotion applied to the face must be water soluble (o/w), such as a moisturiser or ‘vanishing’ type cream. Heavy creams that do not dissolve in water (w/o) and leave an oily film on the skin will not penetrate due to their larger molecular structure.

Method 1. Connect the required galvanic probes (roller or ball) to the output lead inserted in the galvanic output socket on the side of the machine. Ensure this is done prior to switching on or powering up the machine. The client holds the metal pole (optional, you may have chosen a non earth bar model), and the therapist holds the handle of the roller/bar. 2. Changing polarity of the probes is done by adjusting ‘Lade’ button between + or -. The treatment area must be cleansed and dried before penetrating any products into the tissue. Turn the polarity to + and you can then introduce the chosen product to the treatment area. You may then cover the probe (or face) with treatment gauze/muslin or sponge that has your product on it. You may use directly, with the probe onto the skins surface which is generously covered with the desired product. 3. When conducting desincrustation, you should change the electrode polarity button to (-), then cover the probe with a piece of cotton/muslin or sponge that has been soaked in the alkaline solution (astringent) chosen for this treatment. This is done to balance the skin PH and aid in the breakdown and removal of debris, grease/oil from the skin. 4. Switch on the ‘Power’ button, select the operational polarity for the treatment ‘+ or –‘, using the ‘Lade’ button. Then turn the “Energy” level to the minimum (button 10), next touch the treatment area with the probes and slowly adjust the “Energy” level to the appropriate intensity required (usually where the client feels a mild tingling sensation). Smoothly slide the chosen probes over the treatment area. NB: When using a cotton or linen with the probes (or as a shroud) it should be noted that: the more moisture (product) on the linen pads/mask, the more effective the treatment will be.
CAUTION 1. After treatments, all metallic roller parts must be cleaned, sterilised and dried. Then stow in the accessory holder to avoid any damage. 2. When the rollers are in negative polarity, the tingling sensation will be felt more intensively (for the same energy output setting) than when set for positive polarity. It is advisable to start with min output and increase as required to ensure client comfort. 3. Always ensure clients remove any jewellery, and confirm that no metallic implants (pins, joints etc) have been done since their last treatment. 4. Pregnant women and people who have sensitive, injured, inflamed skin or blood capillary expansions should not have this treatment. 5. Any products or lotions (desincrustation fluid etc.) used with the galvanic machine, must be used with the correct polarity assigned to the product (negative or positive). While the polarity is positive, the lotions used should always be acidic (+) or when the polarity is negative, only lotions that are alkaline (-) should be used. If you are unsure of the products polarity, please use PH paper for verification if the lotion polarity is not clearly indicated, consult the supplier of the lotion product for confirmation. 6. Clients with the following health issues are not suitable to use this instrument, such as heart disease, infectious disease patients, hyper allergenic, hyper sensitive (see contra-indications). 7. Do not allow the machine probes to be in contact with each other for prolonged periods, as this may cause damage to your probes or machine. 8. Always ensure the skins surface is moist with a liberal amount of conductive product. 9. If the rollers on the probes fail to rotate, disassemble and clean thoroughly before reassembly. If the roller still fails to rotate freely, contact your sales agent for details on replacing the probe. 10. Do not over stretch the probe cables (between the machine and hand piece) whilst in use, as you may cause damage. 11. Never splash water or products over the machine and ensure your hands are dry before touching the machine control panel. Some products (acidic or alkaline) may damage the machine facia. 12. Care should be taken not to damage the probe rollers. Never use abrasives to clean the probe rollers as damage to the surface of the roller may scratch the surface of the skin during treatment, any damaged areas may also harbour bacteria and make sterilisation more difficult. 13. Should you encounter any issues during normal use (unexpected behaviour) immediately shut down the machine and unplug from the mains power. Please contact your sales agent or authorised maintenance agent for inspection. Never open the machine for inspection as it contains no user serviceable parts. 14. Should the power cable become damaged do not use the system until a ‘genuine’ replacement has been acquired. For safety reasons only use authorised replacement parts.
F-314 HIGH FREQUENCY Theory The high frequency (H.F.) electrotherapy instrument generates a ‘high speed’ vibrating current, which converts to heat energy and kills bacteria creating a sterilising effect on the skin. The current is so fast, it will not cause muscle shrinkage despite giving physical stimulation.
Functions • Accelerate blood circulation. • Stimulate glandular activity. • Helping the skins excretion and absorption. • Promote increased metabolism. • Kill dermal bacteria • Generate heat ‘energy’ within the dermal tissue. • Help the penetration of active substances (prescribed product) deeper into tissue.
Method 1) First choose the desired glass electrode and insert the metal cap end into the receiving slot (mouthpiece) of H.F handset, then push firmly inwards until the electrode is securely connected. Glass electrode ‘areas of use’ a. Mushroom shaped electrode ---- for large areas of skin: face, forehead, neck, etc. b. Spade shaped electrode ---- for medium areas of skin: chin, etc. c. Ball shaped electrode ---- for small areas of skin: nose, etc. d. Straight electrode pipe ---- for indirect treatment. 2) Hold only the handle of the H.F. handset (try not to touch glass electrode with your hands or any metal objects) Next, power on the “Hi-Frequency” unit and ensure the ‘energy’ button is set to the minimum output setting. Then touch the treatment area with the glass electrode. You may then, slowly adjust the output using the energy ‘+’ button and increase the output until a mild current (tingling sensation) is felt by the client. If the face is covered with product or treatment gauze, move the glass electrode pipe in an upward direction from client’s neck, slowly slide up to the chin, then cheek, nose and forehead - over lapping to ensure complete coverage. Note, that the electrodes may be changed as the treatment area changes. During the course of the treatment when changing electrodes, you should return the output to minimum level before swapping the electrodes, and then slowly adjust the energy level and return to the appropriate intensity required. The warmth generated in the tissue will give a comfortable and calming effect, whilst actively killing any bacterial presence on the epidermis. This is particularly effective for oily or Acne skin, to reduce secretion and increase tissue healing. At the end of the treatment, slowly reduce the ‘energy’ level to the minimum output and then switch off the ‘power’ button, before removing the electrode from the clients face. Indirect usage Firstly, select and insert the ‘straight’ glass electrode into the H.F. handset. Give the handset to the client ensuring they hold the ‘glass electrode’ and not the handset. Then, power on the “Hi-Frequency” function and then gradually increase “H/Energy’ level to the desired intensity. Then carry out the facial massage or treatment using the prescribed product as required. During the whole treatment process, ensure you do not touch or come into contact with the glass electrode being held by the client. When you have completed the treatment process, it is vital that the H.F. intensity level is returned to its minimum setting and that, the ‘power output’ is switched off before removing the glass electrode from the client. Indirect usage will accelerate and comfort the skin simultaneously.

CAUTION 1. The glass electrode may ‘arc’ when it is approx within 1”/ 2.5cm distance from the skin while the H.F. instrument is turned on. Please reduce the energy of H.F. whilst connecting with the skin. If the client still feels the ‘arc-ing’ and finds it disagreeable, you may cover the face with a small piece of dry cottongauze but do not use any nylon or synthetic (man-made) fibres. 2. To prevent ‘arc-ing’, always ensure the minimum output intensity is selected (or off) before touching the glass electrode to the client’s face. You may then slowly increase the Hi-Frequency energy output as desired. 3. Before removing the glass electrode from the skin, decrease the ‘energy’ to its minimum setting, then power off before removing from the skin. 4. When inserting or changing the glass electrodes, always ensure the power output is turned to minimum and that the power to the handset is switched off. 5. The glass electrodes must be kept clean & dry, and should be sterilised before & after each use. 6. Clients must not be allowed to wear any metallic objects or jewellery; all items should be removed prior to commencement of any treatment. 7. High frequency treatments should not be carried out on pregnant women, or any person using a pacemaker (any electrical or rhythmic heart regulating device). 8. Any products used with the H.F. machine for treatment, must not contain any alcohol or spirit based substances to prevent accidental combustion from ‘arc-ing’. 9. Never touch the inner eye (eyeball) area with any H.F. electrode. 10. Never touch any part of the ‘metal holder’ within the neck of the H.F. handset whilst the machine is powered on. If for any reason (eg; to tighten fixing) you need to touch the ‘holder’, power off the machine and ‘unplug’ the handset from the machine first. 11. Do not place the HF handset near the machine unit (any items on the tower, especially the steamer) whilst the HF handset in discharging a current as the HF current may interfere with the normal function of the machines. If this should happen, power down the machines and main tower unit. Then restart as normal. Should any machine still fail to function correctly, it is possible that the HF current has damaged some of the more delicate circuitry used and you should contact your sales agent for further advice.
F-315 ROTARY BRUSH PEEL Functions The epidermis, or surface part of the skin we can see, is made up of ‘stratum’ or layers, of which there are 5 in total. It is the ‘Stratum Corneum’ at the surface of the skin, and it is this layer that brush peeling addresses. Brush peeling is a mechanical exfoliation process which removes the outer dead cells of the skin. The life cycle of these cells is around 28 days from the stratum germinativum or ‘basal layer’ through the other layers up until their arrival at the skins surface were they die and are naturally shed. The mechanical removal or ‘exfoliation’ of these cells by brush peeling encourages the skins metabolism to carry out this process more effectively. Along with stimulating the skin, it also increases the oxygenation of the skin, which would otherwise become ‘blocked’ with dead cells waiting to be shed, together with the pollution and dirt from modern daily life.
Method 1. Plug the connector of brush handset to the correct socket on the side of the machine. Then choose the appropriate brush head for the client’s skin type and push on to the handset ensuring the spindle is correctly aligned. In general, delicate or dry skins need the ‘soft-bristle’ brush heads, whilst combination or oily skin types would require the ‘stiff- bristle’ brush heads. 2. Turn on the power button for the machine and the LCD will illuminate. The machine is then in its default standby mode with the direction of rotary brush set as “ ”. The timer is at “3 minutes” and the ‘energy’ level is set at “3”. Choose your ‘direction’ by pressing the direction button. Next, press the “Start/Pause” button to start the rotary brush, you may then start the treatment. You may adjust the rotary speed as required once the motor is running. A moving ‘brush logo’ will be displayed on the LCD when the motor is running, and it will stop when the motor is switched off
3. Holding the handset with a firm grip, begin adjusting the ‘Energy’ buttons (- or +) to your required speed. Whilst conducting the brush peel treatment, speed should be chosen according to the skin type, skin sensitivity, client comfort and type of product being used. (E.g. a coarse grain exfoliant would require a lower speed than a smooth product type.)
4. After completion of the brush peeling treatment, remove the ‘brush head’ and leave it to soak in a soapy solution for 5 minutes. Then remove the brush head and thoroughly rinse to remove all product traces. Then sterilise by either immersion in a chemical steriliser or by use of a UVC cabinet for at least half an hour. 5. The brush head may also be kept sterile between treatments by being stored in a UVC cabinet or in an airtight sterile container immediately after sterilisation. (it should be noted that UVC storage will reduce the normal lifespan of brushes)
Effects ‘treatment enhancement’ 1. Ensure the facial/treatment area is thoroughly cleansed prior to brush peeling. 2. Use of the ‘steamer’ or hot towels to open the pores and soften the face/treatment area prior to brush peeling. 3. After finishing the brush peeling session, cleanse to ensure no product residue remains. Then tone the skin with the appropriate product from your chosen skin care range, followed by a light moisturiser (preferably with an SPF).
CAUTION 1. Whilst the brush head is running, excessive pressure should be avoided as this may cause discomfort to your client and will damage the ‘bristle’ brush heads, by greatly reducing their lifespan. 2. Do not to use the brush peel unit with any acidic or alkaline based substances. 3. After each treatment, return the handset to its accessory holder on the trolley (after cleaning/sterilization). 4. Contra-indications: Anyone suffering from hyper-sensitivity, or has any known dermatological condition or broken skin (infectious or open wound), must not be treated with the brush peel unit due to possible cross infection issues. 5. If the client has any broken or damaged capillary vessels (or other skin injuries) are present, do not treat this area with the brush peel system. 6. After each treatment the brush heads used, must be cleaned and sterilised immediately to prevent any possible hygiene/cross-contamination issues. 7. The brush peel handset should not be used for prolonged periods to prevent the motor from overheating. You should never attempt to hold or change the ‘Brush Heads’ whilst the motor is turning.

F-316 VACUUM & SPRAY Vacuum -Using the desired glass vacuum attachment to aid with the extraction of black-head (comedone), white-head (milia), and acne or blockages of the pores, everyday dirt and grease including stubborn make-up, to improve the circulatory system and metabolism of the skin Spray -Use the spray bottle to spray toner, or astringent lotion to diminish any visible areas of inflammation or redness. To calm and comfort and the skin, and close pores after treatment.
Method Turn on the ‘Power’ button 1. Vacuum: First turn on the vac-spray ‘Power’ button. Then select the ‘Vacuum’ button to start the vacuum pump; adjust the ‘Energy’ and ‘Timer’ settings to your requirements. Connect the vacuum air pipe to the corresponding vacuum nozzles on the side of the machine, and then connect the other pipe ends to the (chosen) small glass vontuse. 4 x small glass vontuse attachments are included giving you the option to perform all types of facial vacuuming. You may improve vacuum control by using your forefinger over the vacuum release hole on each vontuse. It is advisable (for cleaning & machine longevity) to insert some absorbent cotton wool into the glass vacuum attachments to act as a ‘disposable filter’ stopping any dirt or debris from being vacuumed into the pipe which will intern, prevent debris entering the vacuum pump and causing damage to the machine. The glass vacuum vontuse must not be held in one position too long, to prevent hematoma occurring on the face. Vacuum pressure is not instantaneous and may take a few seconds to build up when the pump is first switched on. It is advisable to use a small piece of cotton wool over the vac hole (on the hand piece) and between your finger, to give increased control over the vacuum pressure release. 2. Spray: First turn on “VAC-SPRAY”, connect one end of the spray air pipe to the corresponding spray output nozzle on the machine, then connect the other end to the small spray bottle inlet nozzle. Two spray bottles are supplied so that they may contain different liquids for use in treatments. To operate the spray bottle, simply cover the ‘top’ vacuum nozzle with your index finger which will allow the release of the desired liquid from the spray canister. To stop the flow of spray, simply remove your finger from the nozzle and the vacuum seal will be broken. Always spray in a downward direction from the forehead during use. Care should be taken to prevent liquid entering the nasal cavities, and clients should be asked to close their eyes and mouth during this treatment. Maintain an adequate distance from the face whilst spraying so the effect is felt as a gentle mist landing on the skin.

Notes Normal use should not last longer than 5 minutes per session, if prolonged use causes your machine to overheat, switch off the machine open the tower side access panels, and allow a 10 minute ‘cool-down’ period before using again. Always switch the unit off immediately after use and never leave running whilst unattended.
CAUTION Always ensure the spray pipe is on the correct nozzle at the machine, to prevent ‘accidental’ vacuuming of any spray solution into the pump, as this will damage your machine pump and invalidate your manufacturer’s warranty. Do not work the vac/spray pump for extended periods without ‘cool-down’ time between treatments, to prevent over heating of the pump and damage to the machine, any damage caused by overheating of the pump, is not covered by the manufacturers warranty.
T-01 HOT TOWEL CABINET Features include simple construction techniques using the best materials. The unit is a fashionably designed hot towel cabinet, with all metallic construction for improved performance and durability. The unit Contains a single piece inner aluminium (anti corrosion) towel casing. The outside of the cabinet is powder coated for extended durability. The unit contains independently switchable ‘heat’ & ‘ozone steriliser’. The door is polarised to prevent any UV leakage and is also fitted with a safety cut off switch, so the UV light will not work whilst the door to the cabinet is opened. The window also allows visible inspection of the cabinet interior whilst the UV is switched on.
Method Heater system: Press the ‘Power’ on switch to start the heating process. Using a thermostatically controlled system, the cabinet raises the internal temperature to the required level, it will then switch off to ‘power save’ mode until the internal temperature drops sufficiently for the thermostat to restart the heater elements. Therefore, it keeps the hot towel cabinet at optimal temperature, whilst using the minimum of power necessary. Sterilizing system: Press the “Ozone” on switch to operate the steriliser function. The UVC steriliser option is dual purpose. It helps prevent bacterial growth whilst the heater cabinet is coming up to operating temperature. It also helps to maintain a sterile environment whilst when the cabinet is in power save mode, keeping the cabinets contents protected. The UVC system operates in conjunction with a door mounted safety system to prevent UV light leakage. Should the cabinet door be opened whilst the UVC is switched on, the UV light will automatically switched off for safety reasons until the door is closed again.
1. Door handle. 2. Viewing window. 3. Drip Tray. 4. Ozone switch On/Off. 5. Power switch On/Off. 6. UV ‘safety cut off’ switch. 7. Towel rack. 8. Power input socket. 9. Mains power, secondary fuse holder.
Any excess water or condensation from the towels placed in the cabinet, is allowed to drain through into the ‘drip tray’ inserted below the cabinet door. This ‘drip tray’ will need to be periodically emptied to prevent excess water from overflowing. It is advisable to check the drip tray on a daily basis, prior to switching the cabinet on. (See the illustration)
CAUTION 1. Do not use the hot towel cabinet near other objects with a ‘high temperature’ (radiators/wax heater etc). 2. Do not use the hot towel cabinet in humid or damp environments (wet rooms etc). 3. Do not put any articles containing acid or alkaline liquids (or alcohol based) into the hot towel cabinet. 4. Do not attempt to remove the cabinet from the tower unit whilst the power is switched on. 5. Warning: The outer case of the unit will become HOT when the unit is in continuous use. 6. Ensure the ‘Drip Tray’ is regularly emptied to prevent over flow and possible damage to electrical components. Daily emptying and cleaning is recommended. 7. It is recommended that the UV ‘Ozone’ steriliser is not used for period of more than 2 hours (without rest) to extend the lifespan of the UV bulb. Turn off the UV lamp when the unit is empty. 8. Ensure the unit is powered down and emptied daily, and thoroughly dried to ensure no moisture remains in the cabinet overnight. It is also advisable to leave the door ajar between use. Failure to empty and dry the unit daily will result bacterial growth and odours occurring. Remove the power supply from the unit if unused for prolonged periods. 9. Do not use the “POWER” or “OZONE” switches with wet or damp hands (even product). 10. Do not ‘slam’ the door to the cabinet. Excessive force will cause the inspection window to break! If you break (or damage) the UV protective window, DO NOT use the towel cabinet and consult your sales agent for details on repairs or replacement. 11. Should you have any user issues with your hot towel cabinet, please consult your sales agent or authorised repair specialist. NEVER attempt to disassemble the unit, it has NO user parts and should only be opened by authorised persons (doing so will invalidate your manufacturer’s warranty).
