USER GUIDE Model F-808 Combined Galvanic & Ultrasonic Peeling Unit
USER MANUAL F-808 Combined Galvanic & Ultrasonic Peeling Machine Functions: 1. By means of ultrasonic waves, the machine exfoliates the outer dermal layer for deep Cleansing and is particularly useful for the treatment of Acne, comedones, Milia, and the removal of dead Cells, dirt and everyday pollution of skin. 2. By means of galvanic (direct) current the machine is used for the deep penetration of polarised Active substances into the outer dermal layers, having numerous beneficial effects on the skin Such as helping remove/plump wrinkles, alleviating dark spots and general brightening of the Complexion.
Power supply: 1. Ensure the mains supply voltage matches that of your model of machine before plugging in. Insert the power lead into the rear of the machine (as indicated on rear panel) before connecting To the mains supply. Next, switch on the supply at the mains. Never plug in electrical devices With wet or moist hands. 2. Connect the remaining machine attachments properly in accordance with machine use.
Method of functions: Ultrasonic Peeling Use 1. Press “P2” button to select the ‘cleaning program’.
2. Place the indifferent wristband securely around the clients wrist. 3. Adjust the “ENERGY” output to the desired level.
4. Apply the appropriate cleansing product generously to the surface of the skin. 5. The ultrasonic peeling is shown in the method diagrams, A, B, & C below with its benefits.
A.
Painless Acne Cleansing The ultrasonic frequency wave used, atomises The acne in the pores quickly, and disperses The Debris up to the skins surface without any client discomfort.
B.
Deep Pore Cleansing The frequency of the Ultrasonic waves forces The remains of any cosmetics or oil to the Outer dermal layer and disposes of them During the cleansing process, quickly helping To return the skin to its natural state of Balance.
C.
Follicle Cleansing The flat spade-like probe is a safer way to Clear debris in follicles and helps to prevent The Signs of aging. The distinctive effect of The Ultrasonic waves gives an instant and Visible Difference in the appearance of the Skin.
Galvanic Function (1). The anti-bacterial and deodorizing effect, given by the special probe’s micro-electrical current On to the skins surface, helps with the cellular renewal of the skin. (2). Working on a cellular level, the metabolic process is increased and aids the skin surface to be Smoother, and with regular treatment help slow the progression of fine lines and wrinkles, Bringing a tightened effect to the skins appearance. (3). This-stimulation of cells inside the tissue layers, results in both revitalization of the blood, and of The Lymph system, which can help to alleviate dullness and dark patches. (4). Helping to ‘deep’ moisturise the skin and regain its elasticity and glow.
Galvanic Use: (a) Press the “P1” key, to choose the galvanic only function (the LED will light up to confirm current output, as shown below).
(b) Then choose the polarity of the required current by pressing the “LEAD” button, to switch Between either the “+” or the “-“ outputs. (‘+’ being the ( I ) LED being lit, or for ‘-’ the ( o ) LED being lit.)
(c) Place the indifferent wristband securely around the client wrist to ensure a good earth circuit Is present. (d) Using the ‘intensity’ buttons (up or down),
You may then decrease or increase the intensity until the client can feel a mild tingling sensation. The output current control, ranges from approximately 0.05ma to 0.35ma maximum, with incremental increases of approx 0.03ma per illuminated LED. The timer is preset at a start value Of “15” minutes, and may be adjusted more-or less, as required. 5. Generously apply the chosen/correctly polarised product over the area of skin to be treated. 6. Use the probe as shown below in the diagrams D & E.
D.
Cleansing The probe now uses the galvanic current to Decompose melanin & debris and sends them To the skins surface to be cleansed away, Giving a brighter appearance to the skin.
&
E.
Smoothing The vibration (frequency) of the ultrasonic Waves, helps to increases the skin’s metabolic Rate and penetrates deeply in to the dermal Tissue giving a warming action which can help To loosen and smooth wrinkles.
Combined Galvanic & Ultrasonic Use 1. Press the “P1” and “P2” keys on (LED’s will illuminate to show active) for combined phases.
+ 2. Place the indifferent wristband securely around the client wrist. 3. Adjust both the“INTENSITY” and “ENERGY” to the desired levels of output.
&
4. Apply the chosen conductive product evenly over the part of the skin being treated. 5. Use the probe in accordance with the methods shown in both the ‘Peeling’ and ‘Galvanic’ Stages listed above.
Operational Guidance: 1. The probe will not vibrate when used on ‘P1’ program as this is a galvanic only program. 2. The ‘galvanic’ program phase works with a ‘positive earth’ control system. This means that ‘unless the machine can find an earth return via the indifferent wristband, the system will stop the Current output to the probe. However, when the probe is again in contact with the client, the System will restart the current output immediately. This is a safety feature and should not be Confused with a system fault. 3. When the machine is operated in the ‘ultrasonic peeling’ program the phase, it works with a ‘positive earth’ control system (as per the galvanic phase). This means that ‘unless the machine Can find an earth return via the indifferent wristband, the system will stop the current output to The Probe (vibration will stop). However, when the probe is again in contact with the client and The Earth circuit is found, the system will restart the output immediately. This is a safety feature And should not be confused with a system fault. 4. When the machine is used in both P1 & P2 combined phases, both of the above (2 & 3) sections Will apply, and both safety systems will work simultaneously. This means that if contact is broken (earth circuit can’t be found) both outputs will cease until the probe is again in contact with the Client and the earth circuit is re-established. This is a safety feature and should not be confused With a system fault.
General Contraindications: • Pacemaker (or any rhythmic heart stabilising device) • Pregnancy • Thrombosis or Phlebitis • Skin diseases of any type • Operations (invasive) within the last 6 month period • Silicone or metal implants • Hypersensitive or Vascular skins
General Machine Practices: 1. Do not use the probe in one position on the skin for too long, to avoiding the risk of Galvanic burning. 2. Do not use on dry skin. Always ensure a generous amount of conductive product is used To maintain a good earth circuit, and to prevent any overheating of the skins surface. 3. Always insert & remove the probe cable by holding the socket. Do not push or pull the Probe lead by the wire, to prevent damage to the inner core. 4. Always insert or remove the power lead only by the socket/pin piece. Do not push or pull by the Cable, to prevent damage to the inner core. 5. Do not coil the probe cable tightly. When storing the probe, loosely coil the cable in large Loops to prevent damage to the cable core. 6. Always handle the probe with care as it contains delicate components. Failure to handle With care (dropping etc) will result in damage to the internal ultrasonic generators.
7. Take particular care of the probe ‘blade’ as any damage will cause scratching of the Skins surface during use. Always store the probe safely when not in use. 8. Always ensure the mains supply voltage is correctly matched to the machine prior to plugging into the mains supply. 9. The machine has no user changeable components and under no circumstances should it be opened by an unauthorised person. Should a fault occur- please contact your machine supplier or a competent /qualified electrical technician immediately. 10. During the machine warranty period, all repairs must (unless otherwise approved) be Done by returning the machine to your supplier.
