Pin Me Down If it’s infectious indie-electro-pop your looking for going into 2009, then look no further. Pin Me Down, the new side project of solo-artist Milena Mepris and Russel Lissack (Bloc Party) will leave you thirsting for more. Released early in 2008, the track “Cryptic” throbs with 80s dance-pop finesse, and Pin Me Down have a lot of hype to live up to. But the future looks bright, considering that they already have two album’s worth of material.

Fight Fair

Fresh from the infamous San Diego State University party scene, these American pop-punk rockers are attracting huge comparisons to Four Year Strong, who burst on the scene earlier this year. However, although the EP, “Settle The Score”, is full of memorable gang vocals and blissful melodies, the band always draw from their heavier influences.

After leaving Mayday Parade in 2007, not many thought Jason Lancaster would return to the scene so soon. However one year on, not only has he returned, but he’s brought with him the sound that made him so famous in the first place. “When I came back from the Plain White T’s tour with Mayday Parade, I was really burnt out on music in general. I was really over the whole songwriting thing” admits Lancaster. “But I was surrounded by friends and awesome people, so it was easy to call back into music without hesitation.”. Renowned as one of the best lyricists in pop-punk today, Lancaster can’t seem to put a foot wrong, and Go Radio have all the qualities to live up to the expectations.
