The use of Ink is perfect for quick sketches and for creating bold drawings. Using ink forces you to draw confident lines and to use creative techniques when adding tones to the drawing. These techniques can lead to a quirky sketch that can allow your style to reveal itself.

Oil Pastels add color and life to your drawings. To many, it is considered the “adult crayon� though it is not restricted. The oil pastel is a messy medium. Blending colors is easy to do and can be achieved by simply rubbing the color when applied to the paper. You can also show texture by

not smoothing out the color with your fingers. Using oil pastels is a fun element to add to your sketching routine as it will have you feeling like a kid again.
