Alicia Christine, the little bird with the edgy look by Daragott
Alicia is an aspiring model. She has that different, edgy look which she is very proud of and she loves to embrace it. Her goals are to kick start her modeling career and get behind the camera as much as possible! She loves to just show off her sexy side in a more classy demeanor. She wants to bring edgy style into the public more. One of her favorite things about her past photos are the vintage styled look in the photo. Alicia has always had a thing for vintage styled photos and hope to continue working with them. She has only had one professional shoot done so far but she is looking to have way more done. (Willing to travel 60-70 miles from Alpena) (She can travel further if there is some kind of compensation, heads up & time to plan) X-centic- Tell us about yourself. Your life, your family, your school. Alicia- Well I’m a Model/Beauty Advisor/Mother. I model mostly in my free time. It’s seriously one of the only things that keeps me down to earth. I love to eat Ramen Noodles, it’s seriously the best invention in food history. I occasionally sing, not that I’m any good. But, it’s another thing that keeps me happy, even though I’m not the best, I still love doing it. I have a 1 ½ year old son, his name is Andy. I light up every time I see his face, he’s the best thing that has EVER happened to me. One thing I plan on doing in the future is going to beauty school, I don’t know when that will be but I’m hoping it’s real soon.
X-centic- What sort of childhood you had? Alicia- Your average rebellious-get grounded CONSTANTLY kind of childhood. I didn’t get out much. I wasn’t really anti-social, my parents just didn’t let me be social at all. I was sort of caged as a child, I never experienced what it was like to get out into the world & do all sorts of things. It’s probably why I fear everything & everyone. X-centic- How much support do you get from your friends and family? Alicia- Before, when I was 13 & told everyone I wanted to be a model, no one really supported me at all. Then, when they saw how much I’ve molded into one, they’ve been a lot more supportive of me. I guess they don’t think of it as a phase anymore, now that I’m 19 going on 20. This is what I want to do & plan on doing. X-centic- What has disappointed you in your childhood? Alicia- The fact that I never really experienced what it was like having friends. I had that person that I called a best friend for maybe, a year, & then it went away. I never had a lifelong friend, someone who I could go to about anything. I seriously grew up feeling like everyone was out to get me & that I could trust no one. I am still slightly that way, I try to stop but it’s something I’ve felt for my whole life. X-centic- Was modeling something you always wanted to do, or did it just kinda happen? Alicia- It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was 13. I tell everyone that I’ve always wanted to do it because that’s how I see it. I have always wanted to do it, it’s what I was destined to do, I just didn’t know until I was 13. X-centic- Do you want to do modeling as a career? Alicia- Yes. I haven’t really had much of a passion for anything else. X-centic- Describe the atmosphere when you're on a shoot. Do you play music? Do you talk with the photographer between shots?
Alicia- If there’s music, I enjoy that but most of my shoots, there isn’t. I talk about myself to the photographer & the photographer will do the same back. I think it’s good to get to know them, especially if you see yourself working with them again. X-centic- What are the most important things you have learnt from your work experience as model? Alicia- Always be talkative & outgoing… even if you aren’t that kind of person. You want them to enjoy working with you & if you really try, it will soon become smooth for you. I like bringing along a friend, that way you can constantly keep the conversations going and even relieve some tension, if you’re nervous.
X-centic- Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why? Alicia- I don’t really have a favorite designer. I’ve never had a wardrobe stylist; I just kind of wear what I enjoy wearing unless they already have something for me to wear. I do have 1 model who I look up to & that is Nicole Lazuli. X-centic- How do you prepare for a modeling shoot? Alicia- I sleep well the night before, so I’m not cranky! I usually do my hair & makeup then have a small snack like, almonds, that way I don’t bloat during the shoot lol. I usually drink red bulls as well because I’m a sleepy person but it’s not a good idea for everyone because being nervous & drinking redbull is NOT a good mixture. It will definitely make you nauseous. Brings me back to my first photoshoot! I X-centic- What distinguishes a good photograph from a bad one?
Alicia- A good photographer is one who is open-minded, can keep a conversation going & will make you feel comfortable. A bad one to me is, one who talks shit about other models to you (because if he talks about it to you, he’s probably talking about you to other models too) one who constantly talks about how great his other model is, one who doesn’t keep in touch with you or doesn’t give you your pictures until a month later. That’s seriously what my very first photographer was like. Our whole shoot, he talked about how great his one model was, how bad this other one was and he didn’t give my picture until a month later and only gave me 4! I decided to work with him again, only because he was the only decent photographer in my area and that was a mistake!
X-centic- What shooting are you most proud of? why? Alicia- Definitely my last shoot. It was done in the most beautiful park in front of one of Michigan’s great lakes. I had so much fun, the weather was perfect & I loved my outfit! X-centic- What kind of modeling are you interested in and why? Alicia- Alternative. I don’t really have a specific reason; it’s just what has always been appealing to me. I love everything about it and always have. X-centic- What advice do you have for people who want to start site modeling? Alicia- Hmm, don’t get butt hurt. Your updates won’t always get posted, there’s always someone who’s going to hate on you & if someone’s not talking to you in your group, don’t take it personal. You have to be outgoing & you have to be confident in yourself or you will fail. You will take every negative thing that people say about you or that’s directed towards you & it will soak into you and you will quit. X-centic- What was the best day of your life? Alicia- The best day of my life was when my son was born. I felt a love that I have NEVER felt before. And for the first time, I felt loved as well.
X-centic- What are some of the things about your life that you disliked? Alicia- I dislike that I haven’t gone to college yet. Not that I want to go to be something awesome, like a surgeon or something… but I still wish I could go to beauty school. I know it will happen eventually but I wish it could happen now! X-centic- What type of girls or boys do you usually crush on? Alicia- Well, before I met my fiancé, it was any guy in a band. (He’s in a band). I just got this rush from seeing them preform & it attracted me. X-centic- If you could be any animal, what would it be and why? Alicia- Probably a bird. Just to feel like what it would be like to fly. X-centic- If you could take a friend anywhere you want on vacation where would it be and why? Alicia- Warped tour, only because I’ve never been. Breekachu, the little fairy of Michigan State. by Daragott
Her name Is Breekachu, who's real name is Brie P. She's a teenager from flint Michigan, who spends maybe to much time on the internet. Breekachu is about ready to be done with high school, and is already doing some college. She's big on site modeling. and if you would like to use her pictures for anything just ask her, or let her know and she would let you.
Hello Breekachu, thank you for this privilege you give me to accept this interview for X-centric Magazine; to start this interview off, please give me some background information. Breekachu- Hello, my name is breekachu. I’m an 18 year old site model from Flint, Michigan.
X-centic- Tell us about your life, your family, your school. Breekachu- My family life isn't exactly the best, but my life overall is pretty amazing. I live with my boyfriend, and he is absolutely perfect so i wouldn't change one thing. And ironically enough today was my last day of highschool, so i’m done :,D
X-centic- Where did you grow up and what kind of kid were you? Breekachu- I grew up in flint, and i was an odd kid. I didn't really have any friends. So all my time was dedicated to drawing and playing pokemon.
X-centic- What has disappointed you in your childhood? Breekachu- That my mom kept my dad out of my life, i think that if i had him in my life things would have turned out a lot differently.
X-centic- Do you remember how and when did you start modeling and your first modeling photo shoot? Breekachu- I haven’t actually had a REAL modeling shoot yet. This saturday i have one planned, but we shall see how that turns out. I normally would just position the camera for my little sister, and have her take all of my pictures. But i started site modeling back in 2011.
X-centic- How was the reaction of your parents and friends when you decided to do these photo shootings? Breekachu- My mom said that i could do real shoots, but she was always really over protective, so no real shoots actually happened.
X-centic- Do you want to do a career into modeling? Breekachu- No, i am going to school so that i can get into Respiratory Therapy, and later on hope to do more schooling so that i can be an ultrasound tech.
X-centic- What qualities do you look for a site modeling on Facebook? Breekachu- I honestly don’t have too many stipulations. But if i am required to promote a site, they need to be at least as big as i am. Like if a site is promoting me with 200 likes, not many people are going to actually check out my page. But if a page has like 9000 likes, like my page does. It helps equal out the publicity. Both ways.
X-centic- Do you plan on making modeling a full time career? Breekachu- Sadly, no.
X-centic- What attracts you in the modeling industry? Breekachu- I love meeting and talking different kind of people from it.
X-centic- What keeps you motivated? Breekachu- My future, and my goals. If you don’t keep in mind how you want your future to be, and how you are going to get there. You probably aren't going to accomplish anything.
X-centic- So, what exactly is your personal style? Breekachu- I don’t really have one. I love shopping at thrift shops, so i just wear what i like.
X-centic- How long do you want to keep on doing modeling? Breekachu- I’m not really sure, but my page will be up forever.
X-centic- What are your future goals, dreams and plans? Breekachu- I want to get a good paying job in the medical field. And to start a family with my boyfriend :3
X-centic- What aspects of the modeling career attract you most? Breekachu- I love the beauty and creativity that comes along with modeling, and photography.
Thank you for answering my questions,I appreciate the time you took for this interview. You can meet Breekachu on her Facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Breekachu/225559460810466

IzzyBear, or the Kat Von D addiction by Daragott
Welcome IzzyBear, to start this interview off, please tell me, please tell me how would you describe yourself? Tell me about yourself. IzzyBear- I’d say, with the area I live in that I’m one of those kids to majorly stand out of the crowd because of my looks and whatnot. I’m kinda of out there and don’t really care about what others think anymore.
X-centic- Tell us about your childhood, your family. IzzyBear- It’s a little foggy. But, with what I can remember, I’d spent a lot of time with my dad and I still do. But, I didn’t spend a lot more time with my mother then I do now. I have both my parents (Still married) a half sister from my father. Two sisters and one brother. Everyone older than me.
X-centic- Tell me about your school. IzzyBear- My school is quite hypocritical in my point of view. They are just quite silly and when it comes down to the other students it’s either you fit in with all the “preps” or you’re an out cast.
X-centic- Do you remember how and when do you start modeling? IzzyBear- I actually think I started modeling because one of my friends did she went by Tiffanys Lullaby or something like that, she doesn’t anymore. About 3-4 years ago I believe.
X-centic- Is modeling something you always wanted to do, or did it just kinda happen? IzzyBear- It kinda just happened and I’ve loved it sense.
X-centic- What experience do you have into modelling? IzzyBear- Well, learning that there’s a lot of scam artists out there in the world and that most people saying that well known models that are rude etc.etc. Is just bull, because there’s a lot of uber nice models.
X-centic- Do you want to do modeling as a career? Or just do it as a hobby? IzzyBear- I want to go into it as a career and hopefully be doing tattooing too.
X-centic- So, what exactly is your personal style? IzzyBear- I’m actually not even quite sure because with what I can tell, most models go by what they wear and whatnot, when I wear whatever. I wear many different styles.
X-centic- Who is your favorite female model and why?
IzzyBear- I’d have to go with Airica Michelle because she actually replies to her fans messages on Facebook and she has such a great style. I just love her and her style and outcome of modeling.
X-centic- If you could have lunch with anyone who is famous who would it be? IzzyBear- I’d say either Kat Von D or Miss Victoria Murder. Or even Airica Michelle!
