Fall has arrived and for the first time in what seems like forever, I feel 100% ready for the new season. With the cooler weather comes some of my favourite things: chunky knits, cozy cardis, moody makeup…the list goes on! What also comes with the new season is a fresh start. Like the leaves, I believe that autumn is the time for us to change our colours. Whether that means making a change within yourself, or more literally updating the CHECKED OUT colours in your routine, we encourage you to try “I can totally see myself cozying up to something new this fall. this printed cardi.” Hesitant to try new trends? Kelly Osbourne has finally revealed the launch of her new clothing line ‘Stories... By Kelly Osbourne’. Ranging from size 2 to 24, the designer states, “I’ll never make anything that won’t be translated to plus size as well. Because everyone deserves to wear fashion.” Kelly has made good on this promise too. According to WWD, it was Kelly’s insistence that her line have a variety of sizes that delayed it so long. However, it seems that the wait was worth it. On September 25th, we’ll have 13 entirely unique and versatile looks to choose from, all ranging from $55 to $170. Available on HSN, the lavender-tressed star has created an accessible (and highly sought out) line for all shapes and sizes.
September’s New York Fashion Week proved to be a major game changer for the fashion and modelling industry. This season, diversity took over as plus size models Denise Bidot, Gia Geneiveve, Kailee O’Sullivan and Katy Syme walked the runway for designers Zana Bayne and Becca McCharen of Chromat—proving once more that size is really just a number. The fun-loving artist’s advice to women and men who are struggling with body issues—thick and thin and everything in between—is that, “life is too short to not love yourself while you’re still here.” In her admiration for artists like Bruno Mars, Meghan is not afraid to challenge herself in her music as well as accept the challenges that come from a journey of over seven years in the making.
