MARINE VACUUM SYSTEM CALCINATE SCALE REMOVAL

With time, the pipework of a marine sewage system becomes progressively lined with a build-up of calcinate scale. The subsequent reduction in the cross sectional area of the pipe leads to reduced flow rates and eventual blockages in the system.

The PROBLEM Imagine the nightmare scenario; it is the middle of the season with a full compliment of guests and crew and your toilet system blocks up. . . This would not only be an embarrassing issue for the Captain, crew and guests on board but could be extremely costly and difficult to rectify at short notice.

The SOLUTION The Marinevac cleaning method, enabling your vacuum system to be cleaned effectively with minimal inconvenience to the yacht, crew and guests. The Marinevac unit is easily connected to the vacuum system via the toilet at the extreme end of each line. The unit includes a built in solenoid valve that can be programmed to open at a given interval for a predetermined time. When the valve is open the pressure differential in the pipe will allow a combination of ambient air and chemical dilutant to be drawn into the system thus avoiding the possibility of leaks. The vacuum collection plant remains fully operational at all times and the sewage system is effectively cleaned whilst all of the vessels toilets are in operation.

“This unique cleaning system should be integrated as part of a yacht’s annual preventative breakdown maintenance.”

Prevention is better than cure . . .
