COLOR FEST 2020 After a successful Color Fest 2019, Golden Tulip Hotel Oysterbay and Urban Vibes proudly present “COLOR FEST 2020” to celebrate the spring festival in a unique way. The festival will be held on Sunday, March 15, 10.30am onwards at the Golden Tulip Hotel outdoor arena where apart from celebrating with colors, DJs, lot of various Entertainment throughout the day to enthrall the crowd and add zest to the Festival. Food & Drinks will be available for people of all ages. The festival will breathe an atmosphere of social merriment. Every nook and corner will present a colorful sight. Young and old alike are covered with colors (red, green, yellow, blue, black and silver). People can form small groups to sing, dance and throw colors on each other. DIABETES AWARENESS WALKATHON 2020 In January 2015, a total of 1705 children with diabetes were registered at 27 clinics in the Regional and District hospitals in Tanzania. In 2019 there are now 36 clinics with over 3000 children registered. Lions Club of Dar es Salaam -Tanzanites and Uhuru invites you to join the race on March 29, at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences grounds where the race will begin to help raise awareness and fund for youth and children battling type 1 diabetes. THE KILIMANJARO MARATHON 2020 The 2020 event marks the 18th year and this year, Kilimanjaro Marathon registered over 10,000 plus runners in the various events, with approximately 20,000 spectators on route and in the stadium. This year’s event was held at the Moshi Cooperative University (MoCU), on Sunday March 1, 2020, from 6am comprising the 42 km, 21 km, and the 5km fun run. There is already a lot of buzz all over as the online registration continues, with this year looking promising in terms of numbers following the growing popularity of the event.

VINYAGO – INDIGENOUS VOICES, A DANCE PERFORMANCE Come and witness the artistic intervention “Vinyago – Indigenous voices”, a dance performance at House of Culture, the National museum City Centre, 6pm. The show is free of to all the people which aims to explore the role of African spiritual objects in today’s global society by focusing on Tanzanian masks that came to Germany in a colonial context. Through experimenting with performing arts, exhibition practice and media art, the project wishes to challenge current narratives and create awareness regarding colonial structures within the global cultural sector.
