I enjoy Festivals, cycling, listening to music, cooking, printmaking, Qi gong, film screenings, anything creative or artisrtc, human development especially communities and meeting people At Present (2011) I'm working with a community in Westminster borough with workshops and final sculpture In 2003 two pieces were made for a charity auction to raise monies to help build schools in Somalia. I wove two pieces inspired by the happenings in Afghanistan in that year as the topic was to make work on the awareness of peace. Using the controversial media of graffiti I have woven worded pieces such as Bamiyan Paper weight & Landmind. I continue to weave a mixture of tapestry and rug weaving techniques and I look at people or landscape in my work.
