Bau Ping is a 24 years old university freshman who arrived in Singapore 1 week ago and will be studying Industrial Design in NUS (National University of Singapore). On the ﬁrst day of class, he had no trouble communicating with his local classmates as they were all sociable and welcoming. Many of them were chinese as well and it allows him to feel a sense of familiarity. As Bau Ping has a carefree and adventurous personality, he likes venturing on his own to diﬀerent places he had never been to. He also normally spend most of his free time catching up with his friends studying in Singapore too. He uses online applications to connect and send images to his family back home, sharing about his life in Singapore so far.

     
