15 SITE :Crossing between Azad maidan and Cross maidan (the pathway in Azad maidan on one side and fashion street on other side and khau galli further ahead) ACTIVITY ANALYSIS : -The users are people going from CST. towards offices and colleges near Churchgate and vice versa -There is crowd even on weekends due to fashion street,khau galli and cinema halls in surrounding area - There is heavy traffic movement during peak hours of vehicles from CST towards metro junction and further ahead DESIGN CONCEPT : -The design aims at giving priority to pedestrians and therefore pedestrians are made to move at ground level and vehicles at a higher level. -The public art is incorporated in such a way that it does not cause any obstruction in movement of pedestrians -To get natural light at the crossing an opening is provided in the fly over -The whole space should also act as a public plaza -The aim of design isto create urban environments rich with the creations of its own habitat VEHICULAR ROAD AT UPPER LEVEL
