Stanhill Farm, Dartford, is growing its seventh 8-acre Maize Maze, which will open on Saturday 17 July ready for the summer holidays, through until Saturday 11 September. Our theme this year is summer fun and we have gone bloomin’ sunflower crazy with a giant sunflower shaped maze surrounded by a boarder of beautiful sunflowers! Ideal for the kids to run around and lose themselves for a couple of hours! Price includes a gamecard and map - the game will be to find ten ‘sun stations’ to help you form a secret sunflower word on your game card. Solve the maze puzzle and discover your Sunflower Power! We also have a Mini Maze with a further ten game stations. Fill out your gamecard correctly for the chance to be entered into a prize draw! After you have conquered the maze, why not spend time picking some fresh fruit and vegetables straight from the plants on the Pick Your Own farm? The season begins with strawberries, which is our main crop, followed by raspberries and a selection of vegetables through until October where we finish with pumpkins and squash.* If you need any extra goodies, pop into our well-stocked onsite Farm Shop! We stock a wide range of fresh produce, much of which is harvested by hand and then put straight onto the shelves. We grow up to 30 different crops a year, making us a “real” farm shop. Some of the produce in the shop is sourced from local farms and producers and the rest comes from the London wholesale markets. We pride ourselves on being a community spirited farm shop and enjoy engaging with our customers and having a good chat. Over the
