Foley the Freckled Fox is a journey of acceptance and exploration. Foley tries to make sense of a complicated world. During his journey he encounters animals that teach him lessons in understanding and acceptance. He uses his knowledge as confidence to explore the forest and interact with its different inhabitants, sharing the lesson he has learnt. During his adventure, Foley meets different animals that challenge his newfound knowledge. Foley teaches kids that you cannot change some people’s mindsets, but you can always leave a positive impression.

This book teaches children that we are all different in some shape or form, it is not our differences that define us but our ability to learn and understand what makes each person special. It allows children to imagine the possibility of a world where differences are accepted, and people can look past the physical characteristics of a person and get to know them for who they are.

About the author

As a child, stories shaped my understanding of the world. They created a space of imagination that allowed me to see the world in an ever changing light. The characters gave me an insight into personalities, characteristics and life lessons. I want the Foley series to explore our modern day society. Touching on topics that shape the world. I have lived in Dartford for 2 years. Charity has always been one of my passions. I have done multiple 10k runs for charity organisations and I regularly give out food to the homeless in central London. I also donate canned food to the WhiteChapel mission (homeless shelter) and St Edmunds church living well in Dartford.
