Play a Part

Giving emerging musical talent a chance. –

Dartington Alumni and Supporters £10 - £49 p.a.

‘Play a Part’ in someone’s musical dreams and aspirations. The Dartington Bursary Award Scheme nurtures outstanding talent by awarding places to those students who show promise and would not be able to attend without financial assistance. A specific donation of £600 can support a scholarship or bursary student for a week at Dartington International Summer School. Supporting a young musician can be a rewarding experience. While helping financially with a student’s professional and musical development, you can also meet your student and attend their tutorials and concerts. You will receive regular reports on your student before and at the end of Summer School and your scholarship will also be acknowledged in the Summer School literature ‘DISS boosted my confidence in my ability... playing and performing at music college can sometimes be inhibiting. The opportunity that amateurs have to learn from and make music with established and sought after professionals make Dartington unique’ Marisssa Pueschel, Oboist and Student – Kingston-upon-Thames, UK.
