Space

Studios & rehearsal spaces for your work The largest collection of high quality arts spaces available for hire in the South West

Dartington Arts, Social Justice, Sustainability Dartington is a major cultural centre that brings together work in the arts, social justice and sustainability. Combining history and modernism, tranquillity and experiment, the 1200-acre Dartington estate has been an inspiration to artists, philosophers and social entrepreneurs as diverse as Kurt Jooss, Peter Maxwell Davies, Ravi Shankar, Michael Young and Jonathan Porritt.

Space Space, a multidisciplinary centre for the arts, will open in spring 2011 to provide the largest collection of high quality arts spaces available in the South West. Space will include performing arts studios, digital media screening and production facilities, crafts and makers' studios and a multi-purpose gallery. Space will be a place where artists, ensembles, organisations and makers can create a base, develop their work and rehearse. The practical resources of Space, coupled with the cultural community and stunning natural setting, provide a unique and dynamic creative environment in which to produce work.
