Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton named their second child, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, who was born on May 2, 2015. In September 6, Diana's funeral procession commenced from Kensington Palace, her coffin resting on a gun carriage drawn by six black horses. Thousands of mourners packed the street to watch, with 15-year-old Prince William and 12-year-old Prince Harry joining the final stretch of the four-mile procession for their mother. During her lifetime, she devoted herself to her sons and charity till she bowed for her sudden death.
Diana was brought up to be nice, to be kind, to be pretty without being sexual, and she was a good mother. Many investigations and experts have all agreed with the official account of events: that Diana had been in a car driven by a man who was drunk, when he drove Diana and Dodi Fayed at speed away from The Ritz in Paris and died when he lost control of the Mercedes and ploughed at 65mph into a concrete pillar in the Pont de l’Alma underpass. Dodi died alongside him. Diana slumped in the back suffered a cardiac arrest, she dies at 4am. The survivor of the accident was Dodi's bodyguard Treves Rees-Jones badly injured spent ten days in coma coma. The tragedy's report released in 1999 determined that the driver was at fault for driving at a high speed while under the influence of alcohol. Charges were dropped against several photographers who were initially blamed for causing the crash. The Met Police were forced to launch Operation Paget, an inquiry to establish whether there was any truth in the theories. It lasted years, cost millions of pounds and found that the theories were entirely without
foundation, it was an unfortunate accident. Her sudden death shocked the world. Queen Elizabeth 11 made a televised address from Buckingham palace on September 5,1997. “No one who knew Diana will ever forget her. Millions of others who never met her, but felt they knew her, will remember her. I, for one, believe there are lessons to be drawn from her life and from the extraordinary and moving reaction to her death. I share in your determination to cherish her memory.”Queen said. According to the British Newspapers report, the prime minister, Tony Blair, addressed the nation in Durham, tagged “the People’s Princess”. He warns his press spokesman, Alastair Campbell: “This is going to produce grief like none of us have
ever seen.” In Cape Town, Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer, bitterly condemns the press. Any editor who has used paparazzi pictures of her has “blood on his hands today”, he says. Diana was Princess of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, Duchess of Rothesay, and Countess of Chester. Her marriage with Prince Charles produced two sons, the princes William and Harry, who were then respectively second and third in the line of succession to the British throne. As Princess of Wales.
