US PRESIDENT, DONALD TRUMP VISITS UK BY DAUDA AWWAL (UK)

US President, Donald Trump, his wife landed at Stansted Airport, Essex, at 13:50 BST, a helicopter took them to Winfield House in Regent's Park, where they are staying as guests of the US Ambassador. He was met at the airport by dignitaries including International Trade Secretary Liam Fox and US ambassador Woody Johnson.. US President Donald Trump has begun his first official visit to Britain with an undiplomatic barrage against his host Tens of thousands of people protested against the US President in London, Edinburgh, Leeds and Glasgow. No Cabinet visit, no 10 Downing Street barbecue, no official speech to both Houses of Parliament to avoid pressure. The UK and the US have a good relationship at an institutional level, in the fields of defence, security and intelligence.

After meeting PM and The Queen, Trump flied to Scotland to spend the weekend. This part of the visit is being considered private. The UK and the US have a good relationship at an institutional level, in the fields of defence, security and intelligence. Trump visit will boost US-UK trade deal relations.

Trump arrived at Chequers by helicopter after visiting the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on Friday morning. He had talks with Prime Minister at Chequers, travelled to Windsor castle to meet Queen and play golf at Turnberry in Scotland.Trump received grand welcome at Blenheim Palace. When UK Press asked Trump about his plan against the UK Protesters in London he insisted he was popular in Britain. He said he had told EU Leaders to be careful because immigration matters has taken over Europe and soft Brexit will kill UK’s chance of US trade deal.

He accused the PM of wrecking Brexit and warns she may have killed off any chance of a vital US trade deal. Trump questioned whether her plans upheld the referendum result and accused her of ignoring his advice. Donald Trump said: “If they do a deal like that, we would be dealing with the European Union instead of dealing with the UK, so it will probably kill the deal. “US President accused EU Leaders of destroying its culture and identity by allowing in millions of migrant into their countries without proper immigration legal way. Trump accused mayor of London Sadiq Khan for not standing up to fight against terrorists and allowing crimes in the capital. Trump said "Brexit is Brexit" and the British people "voted to break it up, so I imagine that's what they'll do but maybe they're taking a different route - I don't know if that is what they voted for".

Trump was facing a series of protests. Sadiq Khan appealed for demonstration to stay ‘peaceful’ Thousands of British Police officers was on the streets for security. Demonstrations hold across the UK, London, Devon, Dundee, Edinburgh, Belfast, Norwich, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and Glasgow. The protesters in London heads along Regent Street to Trafalgar Square. The Queen was pictured standing up and checking her in anticipation, until he arrived right on the 5pm. After he did show up, photos show how he walked off in front of her as they inspected the guard, appearing oblivious to her after the Queen of England was waiting for ten minutes in the heat . Many UK citizens were not happy about the images. ITV broadcast the images which were shared on Facebook, twitter and other social media. Queen meets trump and shakes hands at Windsor Castle. A spokeswoman for Buckingham palace told metro that trump arrived at the meeting exactly on time. The Queen and US President inspected the Guard of honour as was initially planned. The Queen shook hands with the US President before greeted first lady at Windsor. Trump and his wife did not bow for the 96-year old instead opted for a handshake. Royal correspondent Richard Fitz Williams told newsmen ‘’It was inappropriate behaviour’ ’Trump joined the Queen around 5pm after meeting the Prime Minister. Trump and the first lady wave goodbye as they board Air force one at stansted Airport; they travelled to Scotland and spent two days. He stayed at Mr Trump‘s Turnberry hotel on the Ayrshire coast.

Minister of State for the Department for Digital, culture, media and sports also attacked US President for praising former UK foreign secretary, Boris Johnson in an exclusive interview he had with the SUN Newspaper in the United Kingdom. The Washington Post said Mr Trump had ‘blast’ his hosts. Former business minister, Anna Soubry tweeted ‘’Donald Trump insults and undermines Theresa-May, the more he enhances her credibility, Trump is a guest in UK because we respect the great office he holds, yet again he diminishes the standing of the great country he is meant to lead’’. Labour MP for Tottenham, David Lammy said, ‘’The real reason Trump blames my friend Sadiq Khan for the terror attacks last year is simple. He hates that London because they chose a Muslim mayor. The US President is a racist. He does deserve to meet our Queen’’. Trump also attacked NHS. US President told Sun Newspaper in an exclusive interview: “I would have done it much differently. I actually told Theresa May how to do it but she didn’t agree, she didn’t listen to me. She wanted to go a different route. I would actually say that she probably went the opposite way. And that is fine. “I look at cities in Europe, and I can be specific if you’d like. You have a mayor who has done a terrible job in London. He has done a terrible job. Take a look at the terrorism that is taking place. Look at what is going on in London. I think he has done a very bad job on terrorism. “I think he has done a bad job on crime, if you look, all of the horrible things going on there, with all of the crime that is being brought in.” London was hit by four terror attacks last year — including in Westminster, London Bridge, Parsons Green Tube station and Finsbury Park’s mosque. Speaking to the Sun inside the US Embassy in Brussels, the US President also revealed he thinks Mr Khan has shown a lack of respect to America by attacking him personally. Mr Trump told The Sun: “I have great love for countries in Europe. “Don’t forget, essentially I’m a product of the European Union, between Scotland and Germany. ‘’ My father, Germany, my mother, Scotland.
