r. Githaiga had a long and distinguished career with Barclays Bank of Kenya where he received extensive senior and general management training, both locally and in the UK. He retired from that Bank in 1999, having risen to an Area Director as well as an Alternate Board Director of that Bank Subsequently, he served as the Executive/Corporate Director at NIC Bank (1999 – 2002), where he set up that Bank’s corporate division, before being appointed by the Government as the CEO of the defunct Kenya Farmers Association (KFA) Ltd in 2003- 2007.
As part of his Community Social Responsibility, Mr Githaiga has been the immediate past (2008-13) Chairman of both the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and the Constituency Roads Committees in Tetu District. Mr. Githaiga is a post-graduate certificate holder in MSME Business Mentoring and alumni of Strathmore Business School in Construction Project Management and Real Estate Executive Programs. He is also a member of the Kenya Institute of Management and the Institute of Directors

r. Lawrence Mbugua is the founder and managing director of Mwanzoni Ltd. Lawrence is an experienced management consultant with particular expertise in supporting clients in the delivery of major / complex programmes as well as business transformation and change management. Prior to founding Mwanzoni, Lawrence worked for Capita for 4 years in the UK. Lawrence has also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the UK, where he supported various public sector clients in change and programme management. He has also worked for Davis Langdon Management Consultancy, where he managed a portfolio of regeneration and capital programmes. He has over 10 years experience in programme and project management. Lawrence is a board member of Starehe UK (www.starehe.org) – an educational charity that supports and educates young people in Kenya. Over the last 3 years, Starehe UK has raised over £2.4m (ksh 360m) for the Starehe Boys and Starehe Girls Centres
