David A Garcia

David A Garcia is an artist-turned-designer exploring the field of architecture. He is fascinated with the blurring of creative expression, aesthetic pleasure, and solutions to real-world problems. David won a competition in 2018 for ADU proposals to influence use of Accessory Dwelling Units for the elderly and handicapped in the city of Lexington, KY. He worked part-time in 2019 under Michael Silver, exploring machinery and robotics’ role in architecture. Then, in 2020-2021, worked summers at Brooks + Scarpa, taking part in mix-use and urban development projects with a focus on sustainability.
