Ghillie Mor

After 7 years service with the civil police in both Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire I joined the Intelligence Corps in 1975. In December 1977 I was sent home suffering from a serious stress related condition and eventually left the Int Corps and the Army in Feb 1978. Since then I have led a very varied life; creating successful careers in the financial services industry, retail, and, latterly, tourism. Married for almost 35 years, I have three fantastic sons, due in the main to my incredibly good fortune in having a wife, Helen, who has stood by me throughout my inordinately peripatetic life when many others would have long since called it a day! We live in Edinburgh and have managed to curb my wander-lust, finally, and to keep the same address for more than 18 years!
