October 14 Luncheon Meeting Applying Lean Management Principles to the Construction Industry Susan Pratt, AIA, PMP – Pratt Architecture and Management, Aurora, CO Susan Pratt is a practicing architect who has seriously studied and proposed solutions to combat the inefficiencies, and resulting damage to profitability, present in the modern construction industry.
How many of us have tracked the time spent in do-overs and corrections, both during design as well as construction? How can the industry produce greater collaboration (and efficiencies) in the context of the traditional independence among project stakeholders? How can we learn from great increases in productivity occurring in other enterprises in the overall economy? A presentation definitely worth our time!
