The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 has come to an end and the World has now seen a new World Champion-England. Many records were broken and new made in this mega tournament. However, there are a few records which still remain intact, which could have been broken this year but did not, falling agonisingly short of the mark. Let’s take a look at those records:

Most runs in a single World Cup The record for scoring most runs in a single World Cup belongs to Sachin Tendulkar. In the 2003 edition of the tournament, in which India finished runners up, Sachin amassed 673 runs in the tournament.
