This indicates that people of all genders are open to cosmetic surgery. Interestingly, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons found that the COVID-19 pandemic was a major factor for many people's decision to go through with it, as it was among the top five reasons given in their report.

Fillers are no longer popular for long-term results.

The Face reported that in 2021 many women were opting to dissolve their dermal fillers, such as Juvederm, and outlets like Vice have since followed up with further discussions about this trend in 2022. It appears that into 2023, the trend of saying goodbye to fillers will continue.

Patients are likely to prefer results that are longer-lasting and appear more natural. Procedures such as blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) and brow lifts are growing in popularity. Furthermore, people who regularly get filler injections are increasingly realizing their limitations.

Facelifts are expected to become more popular.

Recently, the "ponytail facelift" trademarked by Kao Plastic Surgery in Santa Monica, California, has gained some attention, but it is not the only type of facelift likely to increase in popularity.

Patients who are younger are increasingly choosing to get facelifts, and advancements in the procedure have had an effect on the outcomes they will get. The use of fat injections has been a major factor in making facelifts look more natural. Furthermore, due to economic factors, facelifts have been fairly resilient during times of economic decline.

The popularity of genital plastic surgery is on the rise.
