Prayer Needs
Here’s the latest news from David and Sandy Echols January-March 2014
An Addition to the Echols Family The last few months of Sandy's pregnancy were rough, with Sandy being on bed rest for much of the time. That came to an unexpected ending on March 4th when Sandy was rushed in for an emergency CSection and Avi Alexander Echols was born five weeks Introducing Avi Alexander Echols early. Praise God for another big premie (7.8 lbs) and that the doctors were able to take good care of Sandy. We are so excited about this new blessing that God has added to our family!

An Addition to God's Family Throughout the second half of 2013, Castro was a faithful member of our weekly Bible study, tennis program and Hope Club. It has been a joy to be a part of his journey as he has searched for God and grown spiritually. In February he came to us to say he was convicted and ready to make a decision to give his life to Christ. On Feb 8th we were honored to baptize him and see another soul added to the family of God. He is now attending a Discipleship Training School here on the YWAM base where we stay and this Castro's Baptism last week he was able to help lead Hope Club for me while I took some time off for the baby. We can't wait to see what God has planned for Castro throughout the years!

Support
A New Family In the last year our group has gone through a number of changes and in it, God has been forming something special. God's Word is changing lives in the Bible Study. The Spirit is bringing unity in Hope Club. Tennis is forming friendships. In all of it, community is being built A couple of weeks ago, in a conversation before Bible study began, one of our guys made a statement that gave Sandy and I a real sense of satisfaction. "This group has become like family." As I said, God is creating something special. Please keep this group in your prayers, I believe God has big things in mind for them. A Few of us at our Christmas Party
In the last couple of months of 2013 we made some great progress toward our goal of being at full support by the end of the year. We are so thankful for those of you who have decided to partner with Three Measures to reach Namibia! We are also very happy to welcome Pleasant View Church to the team! For the first time we have reached the $3,000 monthly mark! We can't say how thankful we are for all of you who faithfully support this ministry. This leaves us just $400 away from that 100% goal that includes ministry funds, administration costs and keeping the Echols in Nambia.
