I was born in Cagliari, where I attended the local faculty of architecture. I graduated in february 2014, with a thesis in architectural composition. I was co-founder and fellow of the local urban center association, with which I curated several projects, mainly pertinent to art interventions in public space. I worked in an architecture bureau for six months with prevalent building site tasks. After graduation I was committed by University of Cagliari as a teaching assistant in technical architecture and composition. I obtained professional licence in july 2014. I attended LLP Erasmus exchange program between 2009 and 2010, in Karadeniz Technical University, in Turkey, in which I was brought to study the Near-Eastern traditional architecture and urban shaping, travelling to Georgia, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Cyprus. I am profundly interested in architectural practice and my main research interests regard the Public Space and the partecipative processes in architecture.

My duties consisted in daily inspections in the building site, helping the planning supervisor in prevent any possible inconstistency between drawings and building. Furthermore, in a strict dialog with the contractors I developed detailed drawings for variances during execution and improvement to the project.

THESIS PROJECT TRABZON MEDIATHÈQUE TRABZON, TURKEY 2013
Located in the heart of the wrecked roman castle of Trabzon, now district of Ortahisar, in Turkey, the project reflects upon the modern interventions in historical contexts. The aim was to develope a storage and fruition device for media from the books to the digital revolution multimedia systems: a mediathéque. In this purpose was hypothesized the possible existance of three different forms of this device. A 0 degree, a diffused mediathéque; a 1 Degree mediathéque, scattered in several parts forming a network of segregated functions and a 2 degree mediathéque, which was chosen, containing all the functions and meaning of the digital revolution in a unique building. The choice was then to build a neutral envelope around a void that could bear all the relationships with the complexity of the contest. The library is a simple spyral climbing around a central void; a prosecution of the urban public space clinging to the highest point in the Castle.

5th YEAR PROJECT LA CITTÀ AUTOCOSTRUITA CAGLIARI, SARDINIA 2011
The project tries to investigate, in a new context, the ever-captivating image of a mechanical architecture. A lampoon of the concept of “Machine a abiter” as expressed in LeCorbusier’s works and yet exploited by mechanical utopias of archigrams and metabolists. In this project, utopia is confined in a walled city in which modular elements are moved by giant cranes in a repetition of almost identical rows. the only access is granted through a suspended building on the waterfront. There is only place for operation, not humanity. As a whole, the “città autocostruita” can be installed in every shoreline, and it behave like a giant plug-in USB device in an indifferent environment. The connections it establish can be interrupted at every moment. It is a non-ambientalistic radical approach to landscape project, in wich the relations between architecture and context is specious. Rather than imagine a functionalist unit, it tries to mock functionalism reproducing all his tics at a paroxysm level, i.e. avoiding all kinds of facade composition, leaving the image of the city to the structure and the randomness of a stocastic composition, demonstrating that the loss of humanity leads to a dead architecture.

A project developed during the erasmus program in Karadeniz Teknik University, in north-eastern turkey. The commission consisted in developing a unique design for a settlement destined to the existing community of peasants. Their pre-existing housing, destined to be demolished by the government for a rural remediation plan consisted in few and small traditional houses and harvesting huts, and one or two modern junk buildings. The strong slope declining until the coast of black sea oriented to north strongly characterized the site; all the pre-existing roads are complying with slopes. The strategy constists in an interpretation of the traditional turkish house distribution (and its more remarkable character, the sofa room) allowing to combine the lifestiles implicit in the traditional models and building techinques with a contemporary approach to the projects, and an organic approach to the environment.

4 6 The project proposes a urban refurbishment in two separated voids in the historical center of Cagliari. The program requires a new apartment block and the expansion of the existing curch museum of sant’eulalia in the district of Marina, in Cagliari. The aim was to design the new insertion with a non-mimetic purpose but at the same way trying not to be invasive toward the existing context.

Alien Attack was a campaign I conceived, aimed to promote the institution of a night public bus service in Cagliari. The Campaign consisted in publicize the imminent institution of the service, pretending it was real. To give more reliability to the hoax we involved a political party and created a website with an online form to thank the administration for kind innovation. It was opened on friday evening, to make it more difficult to debunk becouse of the weekend. More than 200 emails and 8000 contacts plus two newspapers reporting it as true, until monday, when it was denied by the major itself, only to promise officially a night bus service for the beginning of the summer. The word was kept.

“Castello tra storia ed economia” was a conference held in Cagliari with the local administration and figures of academic worldwith a probosal for a permanent expo in the local medieval district. My role was to curate the proposals, the graphics, and the organization of the conference.

During summer 2010 we developed a partecipative process to redisign a neglected square in the historical center of Cagliari. We worked three months to collect the opinions of residents and city users and to open a vivid debate on the web, based on facebook and twitter. After the collection we gave an interpretation and presented the project during a public conference in which we discussed the features of the project, obtaining an excellent feedback. Recently the square got refurbished; the project resembles in its features our project, but no credit was given.
“Studi Aperti� was an art festival held in its first edition in 2012 in Cagliari. The aim of the event was to keep open for three days the art ateliers in the district of Castello, in Cagliari offering to the public the choice between art exibitions, conferences and the visit in art studies.
In 2013 I Proposed to five Cagliari based artists to develope a concept for the implementation of the Dead Drops project in Cagliari. It consisted in the installation of ten thematic pendrive in the scraped walls of Cagliari, in public space. Each pen was filled with contents pertinent to a specific theme regarding the social sphere of living the city.
In three days were registered 5000 visitors.

In 2013 I developed in collaboration with a graphic designer a map showing the pedestrian routes with the average duration. The map was conceived to strenghten the awareness of the benefits of an improved pedestrian mobility in the city. 5000 copies were printed and shared during the “leggendo metropolitano� literature festival in june.
In 2013 I curated the graphic project of an exposition regarding the World War II bombings in Cagliari
In March 2014 i published an article on Autoportret 44, a polish architectural review, regarding the evolution of public spaces and the contamination of it by spaces of information
