Hello, I am the new county councillor for Herefordshire's Birch ward, which includes: Aconbury; Garway; Harewood; Kingsthorn; The Birches; Llandinabo; Llanwarne; Orcop; Pencoyd; St Weonards; Tretire & Michaelchurch.. I am 45 and live in Llanrothal, with my wife and two teenage daughters. Over the last fifteen years, I have built and sold two businesses and am currently helping local youngsters through the Young Enterprise scheme. The May elections saw me elected as your county councillor, which allows me to give even more back to the community. My mission as the County Councillor is to: Work towards strengthening the local economy. Secure greater value for money from Hereford County Council. Help raise standards of education and welfare for young people in the county. Help ensure the highest standards of social care. Ensure that roads continue to be repaired and maintained. I also aim to encourage people to get involved in local politics and planning.
